It was the same injury that got him checked out under concussion protocol but otherwise I'm completely sure
4 minutes ago, Cillmatic said:Canady is gonna be out for a bit I think. Harbaugh said he's got a hamstring injury.
Could this be phantom I/r calling?
35 minutes ago, DomMcRaven said:I really fear that if Ochi goes to the PS, he'll be snatched up quickly.
i dont think so - he's put nothing on film worth other teams putting on their 53 and youd think hed do the sensible thing and stick around on baltimore's ps rather than another team's because hell know the system

"pre-season" games - temper your expectations
Just now, rmw10 said:This 3rd string OL isn't very good. So much pressure.
what do you expect - most of the 3rd string wont sniff actual live season snaps - most wont even make practice squads
1 minute ago, Boddiebroadus said:So little KC wonder how much PT he'll get during the season.
i imagine he'll be worked in in passing situations with suggs and doom - im not too worried because worse comes to the worst we can send him in as a blitzer - like a heatseeking missile
Just now, rmcjacket23 said:Honestly, I really only care about improved pass protection in his rookie year. That's the major concern. He can be a mediocre run blocker his entire career for all I care. We've got run blockers on our O line as it is, and I don't expect that to end anytime in the near future.
I'll take a consistent pass blocker at LT and an inconsistent run blocker all day long over the alternative.
oh yeah - i agree 100% i was just remarking that he has flashed good and bad in the run game tonight which i only really noticed because he's been fine on pass blocking
2 minutes ago, The Mom Gene said:Sprained jaw... I think thats the first time i have heard of that.
it's not troubling or debilitating but really really painful and quite distracting - feels like your jaw's in the wrong place despite it not being dislocated or anything like that
1 minute ago, rmcjacket23 said:Yeah I think his run blocking needs a bit more work. I don't expect the left side of our line to be the dominate side to run towards this season as it has been in the past, but that also has a lot more to do with KO being gone than who our LT is.
saying that, i've been impressed with a couple of run plays behind him tonight - he's inconsistent in the run game but is flashing well which ill take 100% from a rookie lt at this point
Just now, RavensPunkXVX said:How was/is Stanley doing?
again quietly competent - we ran a couple of nice plays behind him but he also didnt quite get enough push in a 3rd a short at one point and we got stuffed
but that's all i really noticed other than fairly good general protection of mallett (not specifically just stanley)
Just now, rmw10 said:And now he does something. Good run there.
that was josh johnson (they brought him back in)
has camp been given a kick return yet?
Just now, OLD SCHOOL SMASH BALL said:AB 59, get some good film on your way out, what could have been....#2, smh
well he just put some more bad film out there so i dont think even that's gonna happen
perfect start to a half... injury, pick, concede big first down and injury
if this was how competitions worked, schaub would have been beaten out by brenner or whatever his name was last year
1 minute ago, rmcjacket23 said:And? That doesn't mean they couldn't cut him if they wanted to.
no but they wont cut him because he played well enough against starters whereas josh johnson is pulling apart backup defensive players
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:On a back shoulder fade? Not likely
he played it so well that he probably could have caught it - but ill take good coverage and playing the ball first
1 minute ago, BmoreBird22 said:I noticed Jimmy in the slot at least once, which is really out of the ordinary
he sometimes goes man on the top receiver - that might be why... i dunno otherwise lol
Just now, Boddiebroadus said:Feel like Tucker's leg is looking a little weak. I don't recall one touchback yet this preseason. Unless that's what he's trying to do.
pretty confident he does this every preseason - jerry rosberg i think asks him to do it so that we can test our special teams unit
or with the current new rules about touchbacks he might be trying to get the ball to pin the returner deep
Just now, Boddiebroadus said:I have a sick feeling Aiken will be our top receiver this season.
in receptions, yards, touchdowns or any combination? i wouldn't necessarily mind him leading in receptions considering he's a kind of move the chains reliable guy
Just now, Cville-Raven said:Who was the player that helped Jimmy on that?
mclellan i think - couldnt see the number though
1 minute ago, Sami84 said:problem with training camp is that you are playing against YOUR team..and what if your team isnt that good? makes hype meaningless
have often thought this but you cant get better than what you play against
maybe that's why the browns are always rubbish - they dont know how to be better because both sides of the ball are too bad to test the other side
the problem we have is that without sizzle and doom we have to rush 5 which leaves us shorthanded in the zone and/or unable to play man even if we wanted to... the same problem we had all the way through the regular season last year - i really hope sizzle and doom come back well or KC develops quickly because otherwise it's gonna be a long year watching qbs with way too much time

still didnt use his hands though lol

i agree that he's not good (or important) enough for ir boomerang (as proved by urban being chosen for recall ahead of him) but surely the hope is that he's the only candidate because everyone else has been healthy all season
