I may not have been on the forum much lately but I do know that no poster with a picture of a female is actually female. Not if they last more than 2 days. And none of them would go from 0 to regular in such a short time. I don't know who it is but @OriolesMagicPlease is some guy's alt account for sure. Let's keep the cringe to a min here.

No way - I'm not cringy - but I won't stand down to a challenge...

No way Keenan Allen is on the trade block. I think the only reason chargers in "win-now" mode (as can be seen by their draft) over drafting for the future is to try and lure their new LA fans away from the rams. Trading Keenan Allen won't help that

i think the chargers are a real threat in the AFC - the chiefs didnt get better this offseason, the broncos didnt really improve drastically either, the raiders are a great looking team but will go as far as their offence takes them which leaves the chargers as a potential surprise in that division - i dont see any way that they give up on keenan allen this year - their receiving corps could be crazy good this year: keenan allen, mike williams, tyrell williams, travis benjamin, hunter henry, melvin gordon, antonio gates - and they just drafted maybe the two best guards in the draft (forrest lamp and dan feeney) so they are properly set up for phillip rivers to succeed - they dont need to trade keenan allen because their superbowl window is as wide open as it will ever be

The forum mock won't make or break a board. The layout etc of the boards will decide which one is more successful

im so conflicted - i've signed up to both and really rely on the discussion of the current members of the board but i worry that a kind of 'out of sight out of mind' deal might happen because of the temporary boldnpurpnblack board

im excited and skeptical about both ventures

Just to add on, he'll make a living on special teams and I think he was a returner, too, but can't remember.

VT prides itself on ST play. They're all sound and smart. This has Harbs hand all over.

if he's a returner then he has an easy route to making himself useful on the final 53 - if he's a special teams guy who also has the ability to step in and play returns then he has a place on this roster

If those 2 are tim Williams and marlon Humphrey then I agree. But say if wormley and bowser are the only 2 that pan out, then we aren't getting much pass rush or a great cover corner.

in my head i assume humphrey is one just because he has such a high floor in terms of helping the team even if he doesn't develop and improve on his deep coverage with his back to the play - obviously it's more ideal if they all pan out but i just meant that if only 2 do then we are still set up well for the future (although it might leave us less effective this year than we'd like)

however, i fully expect, barring injury (touchwood), that all 4 will contribute in some way this year and hopefully siragusa develops at least into a usable backup as a rookie

Of the first 4 picks I'd say bowser has the highest bust potential, but I think this is the draft we have wanted for so long, because even though bowser is extremely raw he's also an incredibly gifted football player, his natural awareness sets him apart from others and his motor and athleticism complements the awareness very well. He may never become a good pass rusher, but if you told me bowser wasn't gonna become a very good off the ball linebacker I wouldn't believe it. Meanwhile wormley and williams are almost guarantees to be productive in their respective roles, and Humphrey has bust potential as well but on the right defense he probably will at the very least bring good production to the table with broken up short passes and blown up screens consistently. I think at the very worst, 3 of our first 4 picks pan out to either be starters or huge impact rotational guys. Wormley is probably a day one starter and highly productive, t will could realistically hit 8 sacks as a DPR and the best edge rusher on the team, and one of bowser or Humphrey HAS to pan out, i won't give either of them a 100% chance to be successful but I think both of them still have a very good chance.

This could be the draft class that turns us around. I've never felt so sure about a draft class being successful

to be honest i think only 2 of them need to pan out for this draft to have a major longterm impact on our defense but in all likelihood i expect to have at least 3 of these top 4 guys to work out in some fashion

im really excited about the way this team is set up for the future

I know, it sucks. He showed potential during those few flashes though. I would think this season is his last chance to make an impression.
Fingers crossed for Mike, go out there and represent #15 (my lucky number)!

if he manages a full training camp and a whole preseason i think he makes the team but if he picks up another injury he's likely gone for good

Now if the NCAA had decided to strip away his scholarship ban him from football  completely then I could understand the NFL taking a stand as well. But the guy faced whatever penalties were given to him, the NCAA was able to profit from him playing for Oklahoma the last 2 years, so why should he not have the opportunity to play in the NFL.

i wouldn't exactly hold the NCAA up as the beacon of morality
