yeah all his drug issues outside of the gun possession arrest were 3 years ago or more - there were no reports he failed his combine drugs test and he's got responsibilities now to his family --> the gun possession thing was weird but seemed to be a misunderstanding, the drugs thing i couldnt really care about as long as he doesnt do them anymore (and once the NFL gets past its archaic punishments for taking a legal drug it wont really be a problem if he does as long as its not during the season) i remember tim williams and derek barnett's film being the most fun i had this off season - so im going back to watch tim's tape all over again... and again... and again

and even when one of the teams sucks/struggles they still can be a spanner in the works - like when we swept them as a 5-11 team

the steelers first 2 picks were really great picks and i imagine they would be high on our board - it's funny that they said that it felt like we took their guys just ahead of them but it also felt like they would stop the slide of anyone we wanted in the next round in just the same way...

yeah its crazy the level of pass rushers that are joining the AFC North this year- Garrett, Watt, Willis, Lawson, Williams were all at various points regarded as 1st round talents and they are all joining the AFC North... the browns have garrett and lawson which could be tough to defend against

humphrey wasn't my favourite pick at the time and he still isnt but the more i see of his character and motivation and the more i think about the fit the more the pick grows on me bowser is an excellent pick, wormley was disappointing and i think he might be the pick im most disappointed by, tim williams is an absolute steal, nico siragusa wasnt my first choice but philosophically he seems to be a great fit and he certainly is flashy at times, eluemunor was a guy i really wanted us to take at some point in this draft, chuck clark i dont want to be mean about but he feels a little like mr irrelevant in terms of offense/defense but i can see how he fills a need on special teams given the guys we lost this year (juice, elam, huff, orr and the fact that theres no guarantee waller will make the team for example) i give this draft a solid A- Day 1 was a B Day 2 was an A+ Day 3 was a B+

i cant believe i didnt put tim williams on my list lol - eluemunor helped me out but i only hit 2 guys - bowser and eluemunor: 5 points

this was one of the guys i really wanted on the roster - i know he's probably not going to come in and contribute straight away but he's driven and forced his way towards his dream when it would have been easier to do something very different - he has all the tools to develop into a strong starter as long as he can get the game down - but as long as he stays healthy through a couple of training camps and we find a way to stash him this season (unless he develops quicker than expected) then he could develop into a steal - the only thing is that if he drops to the practice squad we probably wont see him again because of the athletic tools

we already hit our quota for cool names with tyus bowser - fish smithson would have caused overload

that's an incredibly good point id completely ignored - mclellan's still here, levine is still here but we also lost zach orr, juice, elam, and because of the depth at tight end there's no guarantee waller makes it this year either so while im not sure he was the BPA on offense/defense he may well have a larger effect on this team than any of the other guys we might have drafted - still disappointing but given the way the rest of the draft fell i can easily get behind him and say welcome to baltimore and hopefully we dont need him on the field on defence

eluemunor was a great pick - chuck clark ill agree was underwhelming

oh man this was such a deflation - i was absolutely pumped after this draft but chuck clark kind of took the wind out of my sails

i literally never saw this coming - have not seen anything on this guy

all the analysts and even our FO in the pre-draft presser said how deep this tight end draft is yet there are so many still on the board

His lack of discipline is to be expected given his not growing up around the game but his learning curve has been steep yet he's exceeded expectations each time he's stepped up

He has the frame and athleticism to play anywhere on the line - his biggest drawback is his lack of experience just being around the game
