  1. i think hargreaves is definitely gone by 9 when the bucs pick (unless bosa is there and even then they might take hargreaves) but that could mean one of the other premier players is still there at 10...
  2. the problem with bosa is that while he is going to be a solid player, he doesn't strike me as someone who will take over games - i prefer spence, lawson, dodd, and even floyd as edge guys but obviously they are riskier moves - if I'm honest if Bosa's the pick at 6 then I'd trade back and take one of those other guys - the ravens need playmakers not solid average-good starters
  3. but the reason biscotti is such a great owner is that while he is honest about his preferences, he leaves the team building to the experts like oz - so its in ozzie's hands - if the bpa is defense then they go defense but if tunsil is their bpa then they take tunsil
  4. they do pass if the other option is tunsil
  5. i think for once ozzie might not be sold on the bama guy
  6. wow, at pick 5 - tunsil, ramsey, jack and bosa are all on the board in this mock draft live
  7. that's a bizarre pick - conklin's obviously a rung below stanley and tunsil
  8. i'm glad they didn't give the cowboys pick to mjd though, coz he would have just picked zeke no matter what
  9. with the 43rd pick, the Tennessee titans select andrew billings nt baylor
  10. casserly mocked jalen ramsey to us in his most recent mock so he'll pick bpa probably - although who knows what the other guys will do before
  11. is that the mock where they get beat writers in the cities to make the picks? i think they got quadry ismail to do the ravens one last year...
  12. ill sort it with the 39th pick the bucs select TE Hunter Henry
  13. they need dbs but i think they already got vh3 in the first
  14. my problem with cravens in the second (not because i dont want him but because i dont think we'll get him) is that some first round graded talent will fall into the second and cravens, while exciting, doesn't have as high a grade - and ozzie and eric always go bpa don't get me wrong, i would love cravens but i reckon we'll end up with a fallen first rounder and would have to trade back into the late second if we really want cravens
  15. the reason i see it differently to perriman though is because perriman's injury came out of nowhere and then didn't make sense - jack is an injury that we are already aware of and have seen do as much lateral movement on camera as perriman has this offseason
  16. shouldnt that have been tampa? and shouldn't this be the giants? or am i going mad
  17. yes - and i'd be more excited about him than any other player except maybe tunsil because he has game breaking ability - i feel like bosa will not end up being the best rusher in this class, i don't think ramsey will be the best defensive back, and I'm not excited by the prospect of buckner
  18. best case is elam plays himself out of baltimore because we won't want the fifth year but he'll be too expensive for us to keep on the cheap because he's made too many plays. he's not shown enough in baltimore to get a second contract but my hope is that he plays well enough that we can get a comp pick in 2018
  19. i wouldn't have seen it as a smokescreen except that la canfora posted that medical update on him about how exaggerated teams' concerns were - after that I am completely disregarding all information on Jack's knee - there's no way new information would actually come out now... no one's doing tests on him right now - all this latest information is just someone "revealing" what they found out a while ago - so it's not new information which leads me to believe that it's fake
  20. i don't really think there are elite pass rushers in this draft beyond the first round - there are a lot of potentially good but raw edge rushers and a lot of interior line depth so I naturally would have preferred some oline depth but i like vernon butler albeit not as much as some of the other tackles
  21. could always take cody whitehair as a guard... - that's a value pick for a player that i'd consider a first round talent - for me he's bpa as well
  22. i don't think lawson goes that high, both he and dodd hurt each other a little bit because they both are so good - they made each other's jobs easier as well as just being great themselves - i could see lawson in a trade back kind of scenario where the ravens trade with the bears (to get in front of the saints) or back to 16 and pick in front of the falcons - coz i think floyd is higher on the board than lawson
  23. if baltimore ends up with cravens or cyrus jones or ngakoue (or all 3) i'll be pretty happy no matter what way the first pick goes - i feel like they all have value and might even be accessible with a trade back within their graded rounds to pick up more picks as well (yay picks)
  24. i would've said cody whitehair but i have similar opinions about these two players
  25. also - for me literally any receiver taken in the first round - any of the wideouts or hunter henry are all reaches - i know everybody says it's a bad class but i genuinely don't think a single one of them is worthy of a first round grade - if those were my only options at the end of the first i'd be trading back
