  1. and this article mentions it but doesn't quote him: http://nypost.com/2016/02/22/why-giants-hesitate-on-drafts-potential-pass-rushing-solution/ -- maybe i imagined it but i'm pretty sure that he admitted it at one point this offseason
  2. i could not find the link to him admitting it but i did find this: http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/ohio-state-buckeyes-noah-spence-dl-eastern-kentucky-colonels-ecstasy-addiction-comeback-102015 i'll keep looking for the other link
  3. he's a guy who seems to pick up muscle strains which is what the new injury fitness guy came in to try and reduce - not saying it'll magically improve but the ravens old fitness regime was a bit outdated and may not have actually been helping someone like camp
  4. to be fair he shouldn't have ended up on injured reserve - that was a mistake by Oz for hoping that perriman would heal and so we lost camp for the season when he would have been back in a couple of weeks - yes it's an issue that he cannot stay healthy but if he'd been seen as a starter or 3rd string guy he would have finished the season - obviously if he gets injured in camp again then he's probably gone but he's just so good at finding space that it will be hard to cut him if he's healthy through camp even if he is "injury prone" - although the kinds of injuries he's been getting are supposedly what the new fitness guy is for
  5. i know they're only highlights and it obviously doesn't tell the whole story but jeez those Kaufusi vs Fresno highlights got me excited - he flat out dominated - the qb from halfway through was just waiting to get hit by him every passing down
  6. he confessed himself that he had an addiction to ecstacy
  7. It's James Koh on NFL Fantasy not James Foh. Just thought I'd mention it.
  8. On the contrary, he was matched up against Eli apple and William Jackson III and got behind them seemingly with ease
  9. That may well be but its not for production reasons, it's purely for health reasons. He's consistently shown playmaking ability when he gets snaps. I think it's naive to think there's no place for him in the team and that his release is a done deal. It wouldn't surprise me if camp didn't make it to the 53 but I'll admit I'd still be disappointed because he's proven he can play. He just hasn't proven he can stay on the field. I certainly think that if camp has a good camp it will be really tough to cut him.
  10. Don't forget about camp, Waller and the guy we just drafted Reynolds
  11. i know everyone is loving his personality and i'd just like to jump on the bandwagon and say that if anything the bit of the behind the scenes video that reassured me most was him telling harbaugh that he was only in 7/10 shape - he was honest but looked willing to work
  12. bad choice of words?
  13. to be honest that essentially happened last year - terrence magee only just made it and then we sent him to the practice squad
  14. of course the bengals took him
  15. i bet you guys that if we get scooby wright and andrew billings suddenly everyone on this board will change their tune and start calling on the genius of oz again...
  16. i'm drunk but i think the giants are drunker
  17. this happens every year, a lot of the best guesses come out a few weeks before the draft because they are based on sound logic (and believe it or not, most GMs are pretty logical) and then the proliferation of rumours and smokescreens muddies the waters - if anything we'd all be better off ignoring most of the rumours and we'd probably still end up being just as right about who's drafting who
  18. especially this year, the last 2 years I would have stood pat if certain prospects made it, but there is no one I would mind trading away from in this class if we were offered 2 second rounders
  19. he normally gets a high number of hits, although his actual ratio is not amazing - he gets about as many right as wrong albeit that's still pretty good when you throw around the number of rumours he does
  20. especially the day before the draft
  21. the only one i want is cyrus jones but i can see ashawn robinson dropping out of the first and being the value pick at 36
  22. if we end up with those 4 picks i reckon they'll be #15: one of dodd, lawson or spence then cravens, alexander and maybe one of the linemen like spriggs
  23. there'd be a little outrage for sure - but if the pick was then doctson at that spot i think most of ravens nation would be sure that ozzie had lost his mind
  24. imagine 3 high 2nd rounders and the 15th pick... i'm actually sat here salivating
  25. i think it's slightly different in this year's draft though because i see less of a dropoff in talent behind those supposedly elite prospects
