Yea, but if Spence was that highly regarded, than he would not have fell to the second round pick 8 in the draft, other players had problems like Tunsil and Ndemichi (spelling), but they were taken in the first. Maybe teams just didn't feel his talent matched up to his off the field problems. Also Spence was not considered a 3 down lineman. Perhaps a rushing specialist at best and we already have that in doom. So I guess we'll see who is right and who is wrong come mid season.

If this guy works out and plays at a high level, it will be huge for the Ravens going forward. Wish him the best.

Ha ha. Supposedly the Steelers first round pick was a guy that should have been a second/third rounder. They def seemed to be drafting for need. However, unlike the Raven they seem to already have a Championship team in place, barring no injury and given they can improve their secondary. If the Ravens can get 3 quality starters out of this draft and a few more contributors, I would say the Ravens did well, aside from addressing our huge weakness in the secondary.

Yea, I don't think the Ravens will cut Monroe. They can't get a serviceable tackle for 2.1 mill. I also think if Monroe is healthy he will beat out Stanley as left tack in year one, and I assume he will take over in 2017. Not that Stanley won't play, I see him at guard this year barring no injury to Monroe, and if Monroe does get injured I assure you that Stanley will take over for sure. Either way Stanley makes the offense line greatly improved (hopefully).

Considering he was only the 3rd safety to be picked in the 2013 draft, I would say Matt Elam is a huge disappointment. I will give the kid this, we basically lost everyone in the secondary that year and he was just thrown into the wind. Given that, good players take advantage of that opportunity and excel. I think it is also a good probability that he gets cut before the season starts.

Mmmm, I guess he either get signed or cut. Why would the ravens carry him on the roster when he can't play for two years. If that is the case, I feel like it is a wasted draft pick. However, the sixth round is a crap shoot anyway.

Well I guess the real draft grades won't be out till at least a quarter of the year has been played. I mean we needed a left tackle and we got one, supplied tremendous depth to the D Line and O Line. Unfortunately we couldn't help our secondary aside from the 4th round pick, which isn't promising. However,if our D Line gets a helluva pass rush, we may be in pretty decent shape. Still would love to add another corner, but like tackles all the good ones are gone by the second round (mostly).

Not sure who these guys really are, but we just added tremendous depth to the Ravens O line and D line, which is where the game is won. Little upset we couldn't grab a corner, but I feel all the good ones worth taken would be gone by 36 and they pretty much were, just like offensive tackles were. Myles Jack is considered one of the best players, but blew out his knee and as great of a pass rusher Spence is, he is still very one dimensional and the raven didn't want a pass specialist, but a 3 down player like supposedly Correa is.

It is going to be really hard to find a corner in the forth and beyond. I hope Shareece Wright and Will Davis play well. Guess we'll see with these picks. I mean the Ravens needed O Line help which they addressed in the 1st. And we got a pass rusher and a D end which were also positions of need for the Ravens. Going forward I def see Ozz grabbing a D Tack or two and another O Line men or two. Guess this is the year we fill in the trenches. Def completely shocked about the picks. I guess we will be watching Jacksonville for a few years now, seeing what could of or could of not been.

I hope they get these first two right, otherwise the Ravens will be in for a long 2016. Little shocked they didn't scoop up Spence or Jack, or even that guy Alexander.

Two totally different situations.It was the teams first year in a new city and they could afford to take a project guy and develop him because there were no expectations of making the playoffs and no hope of winning a SB.There are playoff hopes with our HC/QB in place now and the team could've used another piece for a SB run.If the team was rebuilding and felt like Stanley would be the guy moving forward 3-4 years down the road when we're ready to contend for a SB as was the situation back in 96,I would completely understand.That's not the case though and I don't see how drafting Stanley makes us a better team THIS year.I also don't see the team getting another shot at a top ten pick for a LONG time which also wasn't the case in 96. Plus,even if he does replace Monroe in the future,he's not the instant coffee they said they were looking for.Stanley is not some once in a lifetime talent that you feel forced to draft even though he won't help you in the immediate future because you have a starter at his position.. We are at least two years from a super bowl run anyway.

Yes, I really like that also. But how far back can we trade and still get Hargreaves? And how much do we need to move up to get Spence? Great scenario, but would be real tricky to pull off. Yea I can't see Hargreaves falling out of the top ten. But I always thought a cool scenario would be to trade with the Titans for both their seconds and move back to 8 or 9 while only giving up one second and maybe a 4th and a 6th and 7th. But that's just pure speculation. Come on Friday.

Even though he's suspended, I see them keeping Boyle also. Indeed, Boyle showed more than Maxy, so I hope they don't throw in the towel on Boyle. But the tight end position is trickey, Pitta, Max and Watson????? Love Pitta, and hope he comes back strong, but gotta worry about his health. I also think that coaches and doctors may be allowing these guys to come back too soon. Breshad Perriman comes to mind. Obviiously the knee was still injured but they rushed him back only to reinjure it again

Personally, I'd rather get tunsil or Jack. But I'm the wrong person to answer the reach question. Tunsil yes. Little worried about Jack and that knee. Rather have some one that is a more sure thing, plus corners are hard to find. And my bad, that comment was for the other guy

Definitely a fan of Spence. If only he'd be there for our second pick. A one two punch of tunsil/Spence would be incredible. But how much can you move back to get Hargreaves, most mock drafts have him going in top 10. Why is it so much of a reach to grab him at 6?
