  1. There has been too many second round busts. Max Williams, Correa, Arthur Brown. Not to say Williams and Correa don't have potential but very concerning they have seen barely any playing time, luckily we do pretty well in the mid rounds and un drafted. It would be nice to see our fist two picks in the secondary and the two third round picks go towards our O Line. We always do well with line backers and D line men, so I am not too concerned, but the secondary and O line has been trash for years. I really hope Correa steps up next year, and for Williams I am just not sure if I see him beating out Watson/Pitta (one will be cut) or Crockett if healthy, there is also a reason we still have Boyle, I thought he looked really good his first year. This team still has a ton of holes, which won't be filled in one year unfortunately. Feels like we are in the same position as last year unfortunately, except with more cap room. Maxx Willaims was hardly a second round bust. He broke most of the rookie records for tight ends and weve had some good tight ends. How can you say our O-line has been trash? We have drafted some excellent talent like Stanley and Alex Lewis this year and Rick Wagner not so long ago. Maybe so, but Zutta has proven to be a weakness, and Alex lewis is hardly a run mauler like a lot of good tackles. We did seem to get hits in Lewis and Stanely which are great, but when those guys are injured we have serious problems, we lack depth big time. Jenson and Urschel must not be as good as we thought? Ducasse played in front of both of them right?
  2. Superbowl ? You gotta be kidding me. It's not like we have just a couple holes to fill, the Ravens have a lot of holes to fill. Wr, O line, D line, secondary, inside line backer, outside line backer, coaching ? How about just one play maker.........please. Hate to be pessimistic, but it just how I see it.
  3. He wasn't a three down player, and couldn't rush the passer. There is a reason he only got the veteran minimum signing with Atlanta, he almost didn't get signed by anybody.

  5. YUP, we need a new Center... Urschel who has been the backup... Could he be a replacement? I don't think Urschel should even be in discussion since a 4th round rookie basically took his job. I think he is decent depth, but they need better players than Urschel on the line.
  6. If we can gain 6 Mill in cap space its time to say bye bye I don't buy into that argument. Ok, you cut Doom and then what? You can't get a decent pass rusher for that amount of $$. Yes, you have Judon that can replace him but what happens when Judon gets hurt? And suppose a 34 year old Suggs is banged up at the same time? Now, you have zero pass rush and our secondary gets lit up again. You just threw away an entire season to save $6 million. Sound like a good trade off? Now, if come August and Doom is getting beat in practice by several other guys, then yes, you cut him. Cap is going up again next year and our only real FA are BWill & Wagner. If Bwill wants $100 million+, your going to let him walk anyway. For those of you that always gripe about Flacco's contract, the Bills are probably going to have to pay Tyrod Taylor $30 million to ride the bench next year. And the Cowboys are going to have to pay Romo $25 million to ride the bench. The Texans will pay Brock $19 million to ride the bench. For six million in cap space you def cut Doom. Did not have a good year, I don't care about injuries, a bad year is a bad year. We need three down players for that price, not a rush specialist. We need our rookie guys to step up. O Line and running back seem to be huge needs.
  7. Seems like Tavon Young played well (diamond in the ruff). Our O Line is still in bad shape, it says something when a 5th round rookie beats out Jenson and Urchell, and then Ducasse beats them out (whom most fans thought Jenson and Urchell would be our starters). Wouldn't mind another O Line man and running back in the fist and second rounds. Judon, Smith, and hopefully Correa can step up ( big disappointment with Correa). Def gotta build up that O Line, no run game and Flacco took too many hits. The Ravens have so many holes they can draft across the board, but we should protect our 120 mill investment and boost our run game.
  8. I agree to that 100% Not going to lose too many games when you have a Suggs, Reed, Ray, Ngata on your defense.
  9. Yea, we just need a couple young play makers on each side of the ball. Torrey Smith can kick rocks, he isn't really that good. Why would you want bring back an average receiver, OBJ, Green, Bryant, we really need guys like them (Play Makers). We also need another corner that can play opposite to Jimmy Smith.......................And the funny thing about Smith is that he took only 3 million dollars more (guaranteed money) to play for San Fran than Baltimore, It costs at least a million dollars more to live in San Francisco, Smith can kick rocks.
  10. Flacco's cap hit 2016 is $22,500,00 Matt Ryan cap hit 2016 is $23,750,000 - how many Superbowls has he won? How many playoff wins does he have? He does however and has his entire career been throwing to HOF TE Gonzalez; Roddy White and Julio Jones.... Matthew Stafford cap hit 2016 is $22,500,000 - what's he won? He had Megatron his entire career and what was he able to accomplish??? Romo cap hit is $20 million to be a back-up!!!!!! Ravens organization had the opportunity to contract Joe before the Superbowl and they waited, their fault!!! Had they of not given Joe that contract his FA year he would have received it from another team. Look at what Texans gave Osweiler and what it good heaven has he ever done??? All of you fans that complain about Joe's salary; what did you expect to pay a QB who had his wins and playoff appearances and then who tied the best post season record in history of the NFL, super bowl winning QB and SB MVP??? Who would you prefer and how much would you be willing to pay them??????? Lets get over the whole super bowl MVP thing. That's 4 years ago. He is playing like a high school quarterback as of late. I wish people would stop referring to past performance.
  11. 2008 - 2011: 1 OC . 2012 - 2016: 5 OC I found something to see here Typical reply from a Flacco apologist. The dude has been a starting QB in the NFL for 9 years, and still makes rookie mistakes. Just accept it, for God's sake. You don't need an OC to know not to throw off of your back foot, or to throw a "no look" pass to the wrong team when you're on the opponent's 11 yard line, with a 10 point lead with 6+ minutes to go. What Flacco needs is logic; and this has alluded him for quite some time. Wait, wait, wait...I know what your argument is; so I'll do it for you: "Remember the 2012 playoffs? He is a super bowl MVP, you know." Save it. lol
  12. As an economist I have to say, having four kids is a great example of "moral hazard", coming from our 120 million dollar Joe. Why don't you stop popping out kids and start playing good football. We don't care about your family life, only your performance on the field, which has been lack luster at best.
  13. Ray Didn't throw 11 touchdowns in the 2012 Playoff run.I really don't care what Ray says he is retired, move on. Funny. Perhaps you should move on from 2012. Ray is gone, and so is 2012, along with Flacco's stats from that playoff run that YOU can't seem to let go of. They mean absolutely nothing now. I said at the beginning of this year that they shouldn't have restructured Joe's contract (but what do I know), now were stuck with him for at least a couple more years. And your right. Those stats from 2012 mean nothing today. Move on from it, it's over, in the past.......DONE. I'm sure the whole elite argument should be over by now lol
  14. I don't get you people and your blind optimism. We were a horrible team last year, and to be honest we would have still been a bad team even with out the injuries. Furthermore, we are a bad team again this year. I wouldn't even want to go to the playoffs with this trash team. We'll only once again embarrass ourselves on National Television.
  15. Weddle is out of position a bunch. --- Yea, we might need a new qb... Flacco and Harbaugh have one thing in common. They always have that deer in the headlights look lmao.
  16. Your're fine Weddle, had our offense been a bit more competent we would have won :0
  17. That may be true but he has not been a liability this season which is why your comments are off the mark. The fact that you didn't know he was playing safety and that he had an interception is troubling. Did you even watch the games? Or do you just copy and paste things that analysts were saying about Webb at the end of last year. I never said Webb was a corner. I stopped that sentence with a period which means that sentence was completed and I was on to a new topic.
  18. Good observation! Powers is a weakness. When they see him in they attack! But this can be a good thing because Webb should now know what to do always help over the top on Powers side? Never leave him one on one! wright is the same way! Now my little gem Young! Beasty Boy! I was scared when I saw him go down? Webb has been clueless for years now. And good corners are as hard to find as good quarter backs. Kinda like in base ball everyone needs starting pitching and in the NFL everyone needs starting corners. Very few teams have them. Hot commodity, better nail one in the first round or just get plain out lucky. Webb has been playing really well this season. He has a better coverage grade than Weddle. He has also been one the top five rated players on our defense for many games, including the last two. Did you not see that interception? It seems that you're not even aware that Webb isn't playing corner anymore. He is playing FS. There are plenty of good starting cornerbacks in the NFL that haven't been selected in the first round and even one who was undrafted (Chris Harris) who is considered to be one of the best in the game. Webb has been a liability for years, due to inconsistent play, high salary and injuries. He will be gone at the end of the season.
  19. Good observation! Powers is a weakness. When they see him in they attack! But this can be a good thing because Webb should now know what to do always help over the top on Powers side? 20. Well our run defense looks pretty darn good and Flacco looked comfortable. Until we get another safety to replace Webb and an outside corner to compliment Smith, our secondary will still be a weakness. However, we did play well. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out. We will know next week whether this game was a fluke or if we may be an actual contender? So much inconsistency to take too much from from one game. If our O Line keeps protecting Flacco and our defense stands stands pat it should be interesting to see where the season goes. Too bad the Steele's won, but the Giants suck, and I can't believe Eli has two Superbowl titles. Kinda reminds me of Flacco ( has that dumb look on his face when ever he makes stupid plays) lol. Imagine if we had an OBJ and Levon Bell on our roster. I still don't think we are a super bowl contenders due to an inadequate run game and too much inconsistency from our quarterback. But this is the NFL, I suppose anything can happen. Little concerning the Ducasse beats out Urschel and Jenson who many people were high on, but I guess the best player plays, also concerning that Alex Lewis beat all three of those guys out and he is a 5th round rookie, which shows a severe lack of depth on the line. Lack of play makers will hurt us in the long run, we really need some guys to step up. Max Williams and Correa have been extreme disappointments as well as Perriman. But what do I know, I have said some things on here that were completely false and I eat my words and other times I am completely right.
  21. So? So,after 9 yrs we ought to stop making EXCUSES for what Joe is and accept that he is an avg q and he is also going to be the ravens q for the next few yrs. Let s stop pretending otherwise. Let s not discuss Flacco further,we know all there is to know about him. The fans, coaches and media should focus more on other aspects of team. I would say the offensive line . I guess the elite debate faded really really fast lmao
  22. Get more play makers. The Baltimore Sun reporter said it best. Until the Ravens get a couple play makers on each side of the ball, we will always be a mediocre football team and it will show up big time when we play good football teams like we did in Dallas. Hopefully next year our rookies will emerge and we can nail a couple come draft day
  23. Even so, probably wouldn't be wise to start either back for the Ravens in Fantasy.
  24. Wagner is ranked 50 best out of 60 tackles. He is having a horrible year. Let him walk.
