  1. Man... TJ's story really hit me, you can just look at him and see how tough of a kid he is. Takes it right on the chin and keeps his head up. God bless him.
  2. I called this pick, Humphrey is a great pick who plays like a Raven. Athletic, relentless, and covers well. Welcome to Baltimore. Have fun covering AB, AJ Green, and possibly Gordon.
  3. Well, being that I have also torn my acl, mcl, strained pcl and torn meniscus... I do know that after an acl reconstruction surgery it takes the graft 2 years to fully heal... So what Joe is doing is being preventative and he probably feels 100% but knows the graft is still vulnerable. A lot of people tend to forget ACL surgery is a reconstruction which means they take a graft from somewhere else (hamstring tendon or patella tendon) and make it a new ACL. That graft takes up to 2 years to fully become a ligament.
  4. Tyrod Taylor is a middling starter. Tom Brady is overrated. Greg Hardy isnt in the league anymore because he has trouble keeping his hands to himself. Pierre Garcon is a career sidekick receiver. There's not that much value in the 6th. thats why its the 6th. Negative Nancy alert.... Saying Tom Brady is overrated is like credibility suicide within football talk. The fact of the matter is Zuttah wasn't what we wanted at center and we got what we could for him in order to free up cap space. We received way too much pressure up the middle of the offensive line, and obviously Ozzie has plans in the future. You can get great unexpected value in the 6th round, we play against a man named Antonio Brown 2 times a year incase you didn't realize..... AKA the highest paid WR in football. No it's not. Saying Tom Brady is overrated shows i actually pay attention to and understand football, as opposed to casually following the crowd. Tom Brady's a game manager that relies on playmaking after the catch to produce. always has been, always will be. and since youre the 23874932743902743209742094th person to bring up [insert favorite rare high level player from the 6th roudn here], I'll go ahead and point out that Antonio Brown was pick number 195. Everybody's other favorite example, Brady, was #199. That actually only further proves my point that moving up 12 spots in the 6th round doesnt really mean or do much. If anything, you're better off keeping 198, according to the trend. Regardless of where it is, a 6th round pick is a crap shoot. its hard to argue that moving up or back in the 6th round dramatically increases or decreases the value of the pick. so like i said before, the net effect of this trade is essentially the same as if we cut him. OK but YOU are still missing the point. Zuttah was not what our team wanted at the center position, we received wayyyyy too much pressure up the middle of the oline in passing situations Zuttah can not handle big, physical nose tackles.... Joe was extremely hesitant on any pressure coming up the middle. So... with that being said. What is your problem with getting something from a player we were going to cut?!? Also, Tom Brady who holds records for QB's in most categories is a game manager? Like I said, credibility suicide. Tom Brady literally turns average talent into top tier talent. He makes everyone around him play better... that is much more than a Game manager. You are just extremely opinionated and biased towards things that cloud your judgement.

  6. A lot of what people are missing is if we do go ahead and pursue Claiborne that allows us to use our 1st round pick on a pass rusher or even inside linebacker. Reuben Foster will be sitting there to take over Orr or a pass rusher that could take over Doom. If we don't pursue Claiborne the obvious first round pick should be corner, as you stated tavon is impressive but is better suited for the nickel and Jimmy is a great number 1 but he always gets hurt. In my opinion this would be a good signing.
  7. Torrey to the Eagles
  8. I think he has done more than enough to solidify his spot on the team.... Watson, boyle, waller, and max need to worry about that
  9. I don't agree with Tabor being the first CB and Peppers being the first safety. Also, Humphrey was a reach as of now.. But you never know. In this situation I would assume Quincy Wilson, Barnett, or Tim Williams...
  10. I'm not saying west is our answer at running back but you stated that if you lined up all the rbs in the league West AND Dixon would be picked last... that's false. So you're saying you would rather have Jonathan Stewart, Lamar Miller, Frank Gore.... Rashad Jennings?!?!?! They're not even on a Thomas Rawls level? The same Rawls who averaged 3.2 yards a carry and 3 TD's... You're right stats don't lie.
  11. The only positive I see for the patriots winning is the possibility of Tom Brady retiring afterwards... If he loses I feel as though that would just give him extra motivation.
  12. Completely false
  13. Agree 100%
  14. Lol, I would love that draft as well too. Although it's highly unlikely
  15. I was speaking about Wilson being on the heavy side not Humphrey........ I like Humphrey, he's a very Athletic DB and has good ball skills.
  16. This is the best statement on this thread. Wilson has good ball skills and is an aggressive corner. But, the problem is lining him up 1 on 1 and him getting beat which as a ravens fan I don't like. Especially with talents like AJ Green, Antonio Brown, Sammie Coates...
  17. Eh.. he's a bit on the heavy side for a true corner. He gets beat on 1 on 1 occasions periodically, If the QB's in college were all NFL material his tape would be different. He is aggressive and has good ball skills but I just think tabor is a better true corner. Just my opinion.
  18. Eh, I partially agree with Humphrey. The thing is especially with corners, a bad game may slide them but a good combine will skyrocket them (Which I expect him to have a great combine). Humphrey has been impressive throughout his career at Alabama. Jimmy smith, Humphrey, and Tavon Young would be a very athletic group of corners.
  19. I think they are both good corners and I think they will both go in the first round... The thing is tabor has more hype and on paper the measurables as of now appear to be better. We will have to wait until the combine... If Tabor hasn't been picked by the time we are on the clock don't be surprised if we select him.
  20. I would say the only no doubt triggers are...Hooker, Tabor, Barnett, and Adams Obvious throw ins... Tim Williams, Dalvin Cook, Humphrey, and Jones Some sleepers would honestly be Peppers and Cam Robinson... I know we want a DB or edge rush for the 1st pick but Cam Robinson would be an instant upgrade for our O-line. With Wagner and Ducasse pending FA. Peppers I have a feeling is going to be a flat out playmaker on the backend of any defense. He can also be thrown down in the box which is vital in the AFC north.
  21. lol... man these comments are getting ridiculous
  22. I believe in this team and organization. Sorry if you all don't. I love my ravens and the fans... But after this past season reading some of the comments and hearing how angry and unfaithful the fans can be? I'm not sure how good our fan base is. Win OR Lose. I'm a ravens fan.
  23. I Know, but the difference is at Corner we have Jimmy who is top 10 CB in the league but very injury prone. And our number 2 Is actually built perfectly to be a number 3. Shareece gets picked on too much. Powers should be our dime. Which means we NEED stability at the #2 corner or we are going to continue this revolving door of defensive backs. Pass rush is an issue, without a doubt. BUT we have a very strong front 7. Our issue is age. There is still hope with Judon, Kaufusi is coming back and hopefully Correa realizes he is in the NFL next year. Idk just my opinion but Corner is absolutely necessary in the first round. As the drop off from our 1st pick to 2nd pick with Corners will be pivotal. There's going to be decent pass rushers throughout this draft.
  24. No, the browns would score 30+ against Bama.
  25. We NEED to draft a CB. I know pass rush is a problem and Cook is tempting but we have Dixon who I have faith is our future. And please give Matt Judon time. If Kaufusi can come back and not have a injury hangover he can also add as well. We know Suggs and Doom will prob get the start. But we really have a question mark at #2 CB we don't have a legitimate #2. Tavon's a great nickel. The Steelers and Pats have like 9million threats catching the ball someone needs to cover them. I see Takk McKinley like everywhere for us which I wouldn't hate but... PLEASE OZZIE TAKE JONES or JACKSON or KING hell take tredavious white for all I care... I hope Lattimore declares for the draft so he will be on the board as well. Tim Williams in the 2nd. I also saw an article saying Malik Hooker. Who is an amazing player but not sure how he would help. If we did go offense please go Corey Davis or something like that. I honestly don't think we have a true #1 receiver.
