  1. I'm good with the Ravens trying to take pass rushers and helping the secondary with young playmakers. I honestly understand the rationale behind not drafting a Wr just to draft a position of need because defensive players were graded higher. But with they still have a question mark at the other MLB spot. Orr is gone Correa wasn't drafted to play MLB nor did he receive very many if any snaps their in regular season. He got beat out by Onwuasor another udfa that actually played on D and special teams. I would've felt comfortable with them getting a MLB to grow next to C.J. and has that experience of playing that position.

  2. It is a lot of talent on board but I don't know if we are gonna get a offensive player worthy of pick at 47. I'm holding out hope for Dawkins who can play OG/RT and Cam Robinson. But I think its more defensive players that are worth that pick like Tim Williams, Carl Lawson in round 2. I think Derek Rivers and Ryan Anderson could be good finds in round 3. I like Ryan Switzer and Cooper Kupp later in the draft they are guys who can just get open underneath and run good routes.

  3. If I could make a comparison from former Ravens to potential prospects and current players on roster. Ramczyck and Alex Lewis remind me of Adam Terry. Nothing overpowering in run game, serviceable pass blockers but nothing that would show me "nasty" like Orlando Brown. That being said Cam Robinson seems like that type of nasty player who can run and actually pass block. The Ravens were at their best when they can run the rock and protect the qb. It doesn't matter who we draft to throw to if Joe is on his back. The oline needs holes plugged then we need another pass rusher or cb to help this defense make plays. Honestly on defense we need a playmaker at any position besides safety.

  4. The more and more I think about the Ravens draft I am leaning toward Cam Robinson. We've lost 3 starters and the O-Line is tremendously important to keep Flacco healthy. We are all witnesses to "tap dancing Joe" it ain't pretty. The Ravens didn't overpay for a ROT so they probably are going to take the best OT that can handle the position from Day 1. This will not be a sexy draft filling needs at OL, CB, and Pass Rusher. But we need young playmakers who can contribute much like they did last year.

  5. I think Webb has a really good personality and seems to be a "jell guy" in the locker room.....that being said I wouldn't re-sign him until after the draft for around the veteran minimum if at all. This team has been counting on aging vets for a while they need to groom other younger players especially in secondary. This draft has some very serious DB talent that can play for years and produce.

  6. Good luck in Indy and getting us a comp pick. He wasn't goin to play here because we found every WR to step over him on the depth chart. It's ok that he walked they actually need to find a WR that can get open on the second level vs underneath coverage. If Camp can stay healthy I believe he can be that guy but that's a lot to ask for with his history. Pitta will have to show me something as far as explosiveness to work middle of field. I think the answer will come in draft or with one of these TE's like Waller or Gilmore to be a threat in middle of field. That being said, I like Zay Jones in 1st round if the Ravens decide to trade down in the 20's he is a good route runner and has speed. I'd take him over John Ross 1 year of productivity.

  7. He just didn't do well when he had ankle injury, the two games against stoolers 2nd string NT when he got drove into the backfield didn't help either in 2015. Also in 2016 he had no left guard when KO left to help cover up his mistakes. Hopefully he does well but doesn't Kilgore start for the 49ers already? So will he even start at center is a question.

I would prefer a rookie CB drafted in first 4 rounds vs a declining CB that Ravens tried to hide at S. Tavon Young did a fine job so it can be done.

Reality is we need at least another veteran and 2 rookie CBs

as long as its not Webb trying to play CB here I'm good with that. Webb is declining as a DB whether that's at CB or Safety.

Too many good CB's are gonna be available in the draft that can play right away, also I think Levine can be a asset at S. I wouldn't block those spots with a declining Webb. I do like Anquan to come back but that's after the draft, if we don't fill the Wr need then bring him back. He gets open, he is tough, he makes contested catches, he offers professionalism but he is 36 yrs old.

Be careful when alluding to those College guys as "Play right now". We have seen time and time again that many can't make the jump to the NFL tier right away. Just look at Lattimore. He couldn't stay healthy on the college level with hamstring problems. NFL training, practices and games are much more rigorous then anything they have ever done.

CB in particular is a position you should never have high expectations for a year 1 contribution. Speed of the game alone takes years to get used to, and a lot of your first round corners end up playing as the #3 or #4 corner in nickel/dime packages for much of their rookie year.

I would have zero expectations that a 1st round corner we take is going to line up outside and start covering quality WRs by himself.

I would prefer a rookie CB drafted in first 4 rounds vs a declining CB that Ravens tried to hide at S. Tavon Young did a fine job so it can be done.

Tavon Young beat out vets Wright and Powers for outside corner reps. It can be done. Are you talkin about Marcus Lattimore the Running Back from South Carolina?? Who had the knee injuries??

Its about time Webb had to go, now when are they going to cut Arrington?

Wasn't Arrington injured last year? Until he clear medical waivers they can't cut him without an injury settlement. I don't know that for a fact, but if he still is rehabbing, then there is not much the Ravens can do with him until he is cleared to play.

Kendrick Lewis ended last year on IR. He was cut.

Kendrick Lewis also passed a physical and recovered from his injury.

Arrington has not yet done that.

    Source?

I mean let me know if I missed something because I've seen players get waived from IR with probably a injury designation. I honestly never heard anything about Lewis passing a physical. They cut Campanaro from IR.

    designation=settlement
