  1. I like East Carolina's Zay Jones and NC Ryan Switzer they were very productive, good route runners. We have a lot of speed something we didn't have years ago but now we need wr's who can work intermediate routes and get open. Joe needs more dependable targets that he is comfortable with besides Pitta and the RB's.
  2. The Ravens ILB's have evolved into a glorified SS. I mean really as a fan of where the Ravens D once was to now, yes we have changed at that position. That being said we need a coverage MLB that can be a thumper, Ryan Shazier is a fantastic drag down tackler who is athletic. I would love the Ravens to get away from that and get a instinctive thumper like a Denzel Perryman. He's athletic enough to cover but wants to knock u out in the backfield. I see Anthony Walker Jr. worthy of a mid round pick and I do like Ben Boulware worth a late round pick. This is not a high priority depending on the front office perception of Correria and Onowossur.
  3. I believe this years cb crop could be the deepest in the last two years. I wouldn't have a problem them taking 2 in 1st and 2nd rd or 3rd and 4th rd. Depth is key the Arringtons, Wright's, are getting old. Jimmy Smith getting hurt is getting old. We need secondary help that performs, stays healthy, and makes plays.
  4. I'm not sure why some of these RB's are on the list because some are in the same mold as Dixon, West, Allen, and Lorenzo. The ravens got the same cut of back on the roster. Unless Fournette or Cook fall to 16 the ravens will probably do what they have done the few years. They will take one in the middle rounds running in the range of 4.5-4.7 standing 5'10-6ft weighing 210-220lbs nothing that will set your hair on fire. I wouldn't be opposed to Alvin Kamara or Curtis Samuel from Ohio St. because they give you a receiving dynamic and they are actually fast.
  5. This could be another position of need in the draft based on just the lack of depth. If Reuben Foster is at 16 I could see the former Bama alum here. I could also see us taking a Ben Boulware in 5th-6th rd because a Boulware has never did a Ravens d wrong.
  6. I would like Ed to come back but I don't think Harbaugh will bring him back. I would like to see a secondary coach brought in from outside. Maybe a Ray Horton or bring back Mike Petitine. As far as Dume cut him, too much money invested for someone who plays just 3rd down and has a foot injury. Players like Wright, Webb, Lewis, Arrington will soon follow. Restructures will be asked of Zuttah and J. Smith probably. Atleast the Ravens can make a competitive offer to Williams and Wagner. I'm sure they will look at the backups to see if they are ready to move on. Pierce did well to beat out Carl Davis for snaps so he is a viable replacement. I'm not sure if Alex Lewis can be a starter at RT he wasn't that good at LG.
  7. I wonder would they go after Gus Bradley or Ray Horton to replace Leslie. Chris Hewitt has been tried and it really didn't go that well. Not sure if it was because of lack of talent or coaching but as a fan I would prefer someone hired from outside organization.
  8. So I guess now that Juan is gone will they promote angulo again? He got two promotions in a hour and a half he's lucky.
  9. I like to here bisciotti talk and give uncut feelings to his employees because it makes them take notice. The media is asking the hard question, the uncomfortable question, and he has to give the hard answer about what he expects from his employees. No more hiding giving coaches one liners it's or a what I think might do in free agency answers from GM. It's real if u don't do it then what were u thinking in not doing it because it was asked in front of your boss. I want absolute undeniable accountability. I'm tired of the buddy buddy we going to Florida to have a meeting for 3-4 days. I want answers on why this team hasn't gotten into playoffs as consumer/fan. Firing isnt always the best way but accountability is the only way. Bisciotti we are watching because we as fans demand accountability from top to bottom in this organization.
  10. So, let's go back to TIME.. It takes time for plays to develop downfield. TIME which Joe very rarely had. THAT is why you saw checkdowns. Because he was consistently being rushed, especially up the middle (which means missed blocks by the Center or RB), and on the right side. Even the Cincinnati announcers were noting how our receivers didn't have time to get open, and that Joe was rushed. When the media of the opposing team is saying these things... you know you have a problem somehwere... and it isn't always at OC. 7 different OLine configurations in 5 games. I just finished posting this on another thread.. Once Stanley came back, Yanda moved to LG, it was better. Lewis never made it back, and the right side was weak at best, always substituting. Watch a Dallas game and look at the time that Prescott has to make his plays.... Clean pocket almost every play. THAT is a good O-Line. Even Prescott understands if you get pressured to throw the ball away. Also the pass run ratio was pathetic against teams we had success running the ball against. The OC has to be smart enough to have balance and not just dump a game plan early. That happened far too many times. Joe flacco can't throw the ball 40-50 times and expect to win. Joe Flacco has not developed a consistent season to build on to have foolish game plans. The last five games Joe averaged 40-42 pass attempts, Dixon/west average a combined 16-18 rushing attempts? Who makes those calls and Joe the Drone just goes with it. Retaining Marty has sealed the fate of this entire staff. No playoffs in 2017=pink slips for everyone not just the OC this time. That's not Tuesday Morning GM that's the fed up owner.
  11. The numbers are real... Mornhinweg was promoted from quarterbacks coach in Week 6 after a deflating 16-10 home loss to the Washington Redskins. In his 11 games calling plays, the Ravens averaged 22.6 points per game. That would rank 18th in the NFL. Baltimore’s offense got better as the year went on. It moved the ball with more efficiency over the four-game span from Week 13 to Week 16. The Ravens averaged 28.8 points over that period and Flacco turned in some of his best games. The Ravens threw their way to a 38-point outburst against the Miami Dolphins and had strong showings in New England, versus the Philadelphia Eagles and in Pittsburgh. Just sayin! I didn't see touchdowns I saw checkdowns, Pass to run ratio was horribly one sided, even after OC change. Offensive line was banged up but I didn't see consistency from week to week as that line jelled. Which to me equals another OC.
  12. Really??? OK. Not seeing Rex coming back here at all. Leslie Frazier is our secondary's coach, and has drastically improved those guys. I think the article says that they don't believe we are changing OC's at all. It appears that all of the Monday Morning GM's have their opinions as usual, but the real front office has others. But I'm just guessing that the folks here just seem to know more than they do. Drastically really?? The same secondary that gets fried against good qb's and the average ones? The point that i was making was OC has been changed in fact because Trestman was fired and the interim Marty didn't do that well either keep the job. I Prefer Tuesday Morning GM BTW.
  13. Ray Lewis used to get defensive coordinators head coaching jobs and Joe Flacco now get offensive coordinators pink slips.....with that being said it will be funny to see what OC we hire. I am interested to see if they go after Mike McCoy or Anthony Lynn? Dean Pees needs to keep a look out too because Rex is probably never going to get a HC job again which might lend to him coming back to B'more with Ed Reed as his secondary coach.
  14. I want to see Judon, smith, and Correria because Suggs/dume won't be around for more then another year. Suggs/dume have showed heart but football as we know as fans takes a lot out of players. As a fan it's time to give the young fellas a extended look to see what they can do.
  15. No he shouldn't have gone down to answer the articles question because who knows if you would've even scored a TD at the 5-6 yard line. But here is the real problem allowing the Stoolers long scoring drives. They had a average of 11 yards per play in the 4th quarter. The last three weeks the Ravens defense showed nothing in the final period of ball games. Granted they won against the Eagles but were on the ropes. The secondary got ate up again because of no pass rush. Again rushing 3 d lineman and rushing albert mcclellan which was terrible. I would hope that we do go out in the draft and address the secondary with another top line CB. Get a WR who can run routes and catch the ball. Also address the interior of our offensive line to help calm "fadeaway Joe's" nerves.
  16. Lack of playmakers was a part of this end result for Ravens. I also think the inconsistency for offense to sustain scoring drives, lack of run game and the defense not making any plays via pass rush, ints, tunerovers! This was a team loss with failures against teams we could've beat.
  17. I could appreciate this game as being lesson to learn from. Matthews ran the ball consistently and #39. They got 3-4 yards that turned into 12-18 yards late in the game. Now it is time not to tuck and run but shut down the Stoolers and Bell. Getting some pass rush and stomping out the run again. Maybe the Ravens offense will learn to not abandon the run when it is working. Passing using effective play action. Sustaining drives keeping your defense fresh....Uh just a thought.
  18. even if he made that call I can understand making a aggressive play call but, that read was so bad! I mean he wasn't open in that window, give waller a split second and he is open behind the MLB. That was terrible with NOT throwing the ball away and takin unnecessary sacks! Average Joe continues to not progress its not the OC anymore it falls on the QB to be smart enough to get this offense in and out of plays. Also making the offense better keeping the offense ahead or at least at the sticks!
  19. Good if you don't like getting beat don't let it happen again. Don't show me your mad play that way and take it out on your opponent. Talkin means nothing winning in this business means everything.
  20. I don't care about who's throwing their helmet at practice, I don't care about who isn't playin, I just want a win tomorrow. At the end of the day that's all that matters if this team wants to keep its playoff hopes alive. Smash the Eggles!!
  21. Chris Lewis-Harris please....instead of Powers in the slot cb position. I'm not sure what he has to offer but I've seen what Powers has to offer and it ain't much.
  22. I think the Ravens moving Yanda to LG is a great help to Stanley. I would make it a permanent move. Alex Lewis needs to get stronger and his best position might be on the right side either at guard or tackle if Wagner leaves via free agency.
  23. Again the lack of DB depth, talent, and playmakers have cost the Ravens. Tavon Young is a rookie and is already better than Jerraud Powers/Sheerce Wright. I have watched Powers do nothing the last two weeks but get burned, give up TD's, and get stupid penalties. But he isn't the only stank db Webb is a cadaver in coverage and Sheerce Wright is stealing money. It shows that if the front seven don't get pressure this team is in trouble against good qbs.
  24. Vlad has been a good under the radar signing. Tavon Young, Judon, and Stanley are solid draft picks. In Ozzie we trust, just need everyone to play at there full potential consistently.
  25. Penalties were a killer. The following players need to be cut or placed on ir....Webb, dumerville, and Hester. The performance by the defense didn't make any sense, I mean they couldn't stop a drive. The pass rush was horrible. We didn't dictate by running the ball to keep opponent off the field. Average Joe didn't do anything to be a difference maker....stop fading away when u have time!
