  1. When they need to. It needs to be soon. No it doesn't. If you don't need his cap space, then you gain literally nothing from cutting him. You don't just cut a bunch of players and pray that you can sign somebody else without knowing that you can. But you can cut a bunch of unproductive players and their is no rule that states you can't cut them until they pass a physical.
  2. Wasn't Arrington injured last year? Until he clear medical waivers they can't cut him without an injury settlement. I don't know that for a fact, but if he still is rehabbing, then there is not much the Ravens can do with him until he is cleared to play. Kendrick Lewis ended last year on IR. He was cut. Kendrick Lewis also passed a physical and recovered from his injury. Arrington has not yet done that. Where was it reported that he passed a physical? Players are cut all of the time from IR with injury settlement but I haven't heard or read anything like that for Lewis.

  5. Bring in Connor Barwin he's been cut so he wouldn't count against Compensatory picks for next year. I also wouldn't have a problem with DJ Fluker at RG. He is a strong run blocker who could shift inside from tackle. He might not get exposed inside against pass rushers.
  6. Its about time Webb had to go, now when are they going to cut Arrington?
  7. I'd like the Ravens to take a look at Deandre Levy who could be a steak if healthy. He could provide a better more up to date version of a Daryl Smith.
  8. Thank you for your production when healthy Dume. If you find a better spot thank god and if you come back thank god. Be well sir.
  9. because he played well, like many players who get contracts he performed well got the contract and then regressed He didn't play that well to garner that contract. But eventually the front office quickly understood their error.
  10. What took so long for these guys to start cutting the cap dead weight. So when is the other shoe gonna drop cutting Dume, Webb, and Arrington? If the 49ers cut you with one of the worst secondary's in the league why was he getting a long term deal here? nevermind
  11. When are the Ravens gonna start cutting some of these cap hogs? I'm good with keeping Wallace and seeing if we can work a deal out with Torrey. But I'm almost sure that team down 95 is gonna have a lot of interest in Torrey and are losing their WR core. The Eagles had no one to catch the ball as well. So it is going to be a strong market for him. I would cut Wallace in one scenario and that's if we needed his money to resign Brandon Williams.
  12. Football much like any business should pay you for what you are worth. Especially if you are productive you've got to take the money. Honestly the only player the Ravens had to pay market value for was Flacco and that was he was a Super Bowl winning qb. If he didn't win the Super Bowl the Ravens front office would've tried to give him a "Competitive Offer." I believe Marshal Yanda gave the Ravens a hometown discount because its no way KO is a better guard or tackle then Yanda. We as fans have to understand by the second contract the Ravens players are ready to sign with another team for big money. The Ravens philosophy since winning the Super Bowl in 2000 has been. 1. Use the draft to fill needs or Undrafted free agents. 2. Scavenge over cut veterans so they don't affect the compensatory picks. 3. Try to extend players before their rookie deals expire so they can get them relatively cheap vs. free agent value. That's why when Ozzie or Decosta miss on a player it hurts more because we can't and won't go in free agency to fill that need. We won't commit the high prices free agents command. I would love to have Williams and Wagner back. That being said I expect all 3 of our big name free agents go walk.
  13. Zay Jones is doing very well he might not be available in the 2nd round he might have moved himself into late 1st round with his 40 questions getting answered. He is a great route runner and catches everything.
  14. Get Flacco some offensive linemen upgrades Mangold and in the draft. Then I don't wanna hear no excuses. Because between the knee and this patchwork line I want to see what Flacco really can do if he is legit.
  15. If he was so excited why didn't he play Moore more? I don't know if this is some fluff for the mics but he is gonna need these guys to play significant roles. Obviously we will need to pick up another wide receiver we need to target someone who is balanced in route running no matter the size. We have a lot of stretch the field speed but we need a wide out who can just work the middle of field and get open.
  16. Let's be honest Zuttah became more of a glaring issue when KO left. The run blocking and holding calls became more noticeable because Lewis and the mathematician wasn't good at LG. Also yanda was hurt and had to shift positions. If Mangold is healthy and cheaper he is definitely a upgrade over zuttah. The Ravens need talent on the o line they have two studs in Stanley/yanda but they need five.
  17. good luck with the rest of your life outside of football. I hope he gets some help before its game over for his life.
  18. I wonder will the ravens trade a low mid round pick to say 49ers who are transitioning to a 4-3 defense for say a Aaron Lynch or Eli Harold. I heard about Connor Barwin but he costs a nice bit of change to trade for the others might not cost really that much in a cap charge.
  19. The Ravens need about 2 cb's out of this draft taken in the top 4 rounds. Don't care how they do it just do it!
  20. The Ravens need to take the best player available in the secondary at 16. Rookie Tavon Young was the best CB last year and Weddle was our best safety. We need to upgrade the speed at that position and become more physical on the back end. Jimmy Smith for the money he is getting and the history of injuries could be a cap casualty. The way the depth in the secondary is playing out we could take 2 or 3 secondary players (2 cb's/1 safety).
  21. I like Juice but I would talk to Williams first and use that money to ensure I get the key free agent out their for the ravens. The Ravens are the one team in the NFL that like a FB but have TE's that can fill in. Boyle and Gilmore are very good blocking TE's. Juice still gets stood up in the hole trying to dig LB's out, I agree he has good hands being a TE in college but his blocking hasn't caught up.
  22. I wouldn't touch him tall tackles weighing this much don't generally last too long at tackle, they get moved to guard, because they get exposed out in space with quick DE's/LB's. He could be a mckinnie, Aaron Gibson type that we can't afford to be protecting Joe. We got a dancing bear in Stanley we don't need a blubbering whale at right tackle.
  23. I'm not sure if Zuttah will be back because of the money he is making. I'm not sure if Urshel is really the answer at center either. Alex Lewis might fit more at RT it would probably help him more if he has a future HOF in Yanda at RG helping him. The biggest concern is obviously who is gonna fill that LG spot since KO left.
  24. Since the Ravens need a upgrade from Webb why not replace him with CB that has actually ball skills and can tackle. The kid isn't afraid to stick his nose and he is a ball hawk. The Ravens need defensive playmakers in the short term he can play some CB while transitioning to safety.
  25. We'll see because there are a bunch of teams who have boatloads of cash and will back the truck up. Shouldn't the Ravens get a 3rd rd comp pick for KO? Shouldn't we also get a comp pick for Upshaw too?
