  1. I trust our coaching staff on whomever they feel fits best. As for now, it seems the hole left by Smith is pretty big. However, this is not unfamiliar territory for us. We've been here before with the departure of Ray Lewis. Also with the departure of Bart Scott. I could go on and on if need be, but you guys get the point. Our staff in Baltimore is consistent when it comes to filling holes with "next man up." With our defensive front being in great shape with Williams, Jernigan, Suggs and Elvis, that front with the addition of a possible Buckner or the Ohio State product Joey Bosa. Maybe with a possible second round pick in Noah Spence, No Quarterback would want to face the Ravens front. With that being said, a defensive front like that makes CJ's job easy. As fast as he is from side to side he will be able to clean up. The same goes for whoever plays next to CJ. With Williams eating up multiple blockers, whoever plays the spot will pretty much have free roam. Kind of like when way Ray Lewis petitioned for Nagta. Again, I can't take my hat off enough to our front office.
  2. When you look at the running backs that we currently have in the stable, you ask yourself the question, "who's spot could Trent replace? who is he better than?" Starting at the top you quickly by pass Justin. That brings us to stand out rookie stud Buc Allen... Buc showed way to much promise the way he ran when Justin went down last season. And you think the same thing with the way Terrance West played for us as well. That brings us to Taliaferro. He and Buc are the same type of Big Back. You don't need two of the same type of backs. I think Trent replaces Taliaferro. A IN SHAPE TRENT. A 20/25 POUND LIGHTER TRENT. let's not forget what he did at Alabama and his first year in Cleveland. Yes, he lost his way. Lost his work ethic obviously and gained a bunch of weight. But if anyone can bring the old Trent back, its John Harbaugh
  3. In light of the recent free agents that we've signed, I believe the two go hand and hand. With the new additions, after already having the best state of the art performance facility in the NFL, one would have to imagine that it would almost be impossible for a player or free agent to not want to sign with Baltimore. Again, great job Steve and front office.
  4. He'll be back you guys. Let's be optimistic. Positive. I feel he'll come back and do exceptionally well. Wouldn't you if you were in his shoes? Im sure he feeds off of the doubters and it fuels his come back. We, his family, should fuel him with faith.
  5. It all makes sense... think about it... money rules the world. So despite the failed attempts at being proactive per safety reasons and moving the kickoff up, money entertainment, action, excitement, trill and adrenaline releases endorphins that create and stimulate that good feeling. That's why we watch, and thats what the fans pay to see. So, it doesn't shock me that the NFL is getting back to what it does best, filling seats and making billions. The NFL saw the return game depreciate last season. One of the most exciting parts of the game. Who remembers watching Donte Hall return kicks and punts? Yea well I can't blame the NFL for moving the kickoff back 10 yards. Fortunately, and thanks to Coach Harbs and his special teams professorship, we have one of, if not the best punter in the league. It'll take more than 10 yards to stop Sam who averages 46.7 yards per punt from booting it out of the end zone. Do we as a team value the safety of our team and players? absolutely. We also value our own lives, but we still speed and exceed the speed limit at times. Now we get a chance to see what our speed options can do in the return game vacated by Jacoby.
  6. Its a really bad but popular practice, but for some reason the kids nowadays especially in the south are starting to ride these dirt bikes while doing stunts and willies without helmets. You hate to see things like this happen.
