1. Derek Barnett
2. Quincy Wilson
3. Chris Godwin
3. Ethan Pocic
Chris Roling from BR has us taking John Ross with Mike Williams and Corey Davis still on the board.
Wasn't Caleb Brantley just involved in a physical altercation with a woman recently? If so doesn't that take him off our board?

Yeah I think they are just throwing things out there now.
1 minute ago, ravensnation5220 said:Hes fixed on us taking Cam lol
Exactly, him and Charlie are fixed on that being the pick. But Quincy Wilson is on the board in the 2nd and Sidney Jones is one of the guys left on the board after both of our picks in the 3rd.
Has anyone seen the latest mock draft from Walter over at Walterfootball.com?
RD1: Cam Robinson, OL
RD2: Carl Lawson, Edge
RD3: Dalvin Tomlinson, DT
RD3 Comp: Noah Brown, WR
RD4: Jeremy McNichols, RB
RD5: Brian Allen, CB

That indicates to me that consensus is there isn't any OL player worth #16 and mockers have us reaching for need. Do other think there really is an OL player that will be actually be the BPA at #16?
No I don't think so. If no team reaches for need, then no OL player should go top 20.

Karl Joseph was lauded as a 2nd round guy up until a couple weeks before the draft last year. Ryan Kelly got the 1st round buzz a bit earlier but at this point last year, he was also in a similar boat where he wasn't considered a 1st rounder. A couple of years back Ja'Wuan James was a consensus 2nd/3rd rounder until about a week beforehand.
Trust me I don't get caught up in them. Like you said Joseph was lauded as a 2nd rounder until a couple of weeks before the draft. Could you see someone like Johnson who has been listed as a person that lacks athleticism and sources from teams having him as a 4th or 5th rounder making that kind of jump?
It may be time to stop looking at mock drafts when you start seeing Dorian Johnson as a first round pick. There was also two OL that went in the top 10.
1 hour ago, Jonah DeVito said:Actually I wouldn't mind keeping it the same. Could you imagine having Judon, Barnett, AND Williams for the next several years at least? That would be amazing.
There is actually a mock draft like. Draft Utopia had us taking Charles Harris and Tim Williams in the first two rounds last week.
15 minutes ago, Jonah DeVito said:Oh that changes some things...definitely have to take Barnett over Lamp. We would also be drafting 3 UT Vols.
After taking Barnett all the other draft picks are blown up, due to the fact that you wouldn't have to draft Tim Williams.
9 minutes ago, Jonah DeVito said:This is one of the more competent media mo me I've seen. I wouldn't mind this if we were to trade back and pick Lamp. Rounds 2 and 3 would be awesome, but I don't know if Reeves-Maybin is the best value in rd 4.
My big problem with the pick in the first round is that Derek Barnett was still on the board.
Derek Whoolery of National Mock Drafts has us taking:
RD1: Forrest Lamp, G
RD2: Tim Williams, OLB
RD3: Taywan Taylor, WR
RD3 Comp: Cameron Sutton, CB
RD4: Jaylen Reeves-Maybin, LB
RD5: Damien Mama, G
RD6: Elijah Hood, RB

Fabian Moreau and Quincy Wilson are two players left on the board.
Tony Pauline has us going Tim Williams in the first round, then he has us taking David Njoku in the second.

I have Harris as my 4th pure edge rusher behind Garrett, Barnett, and Williams.... so snagging him in the 2nd would be awesome. Getting Sidney Jones at that point would be a steal, Elflein in the 4th would be great value - hes the type of physical presence inside that we need; and his versatility is a big bonus.
Howard Wilson has all the raw traits you want in a shutdown corner. Needs some refining, but he could develop in to a long time starter, and could give us depth year 1 while Jones recovers.
Not a huge fan of Brown... would probably prefer a developmental OL, WR or RB at that point - taking a shot on a guy like Tarik Cohen if hes there..... but i dont hate it.
I just dont know how realistic this is. I have seen more people mocking Harris to the 2nd, though i dont think itll happen; but its not out of the realm of possibilities. but i cant see Jones falling to the end of the 3rd, Elflein still being there in the 4th, and i also think Wilson goes a rd or 2 ahead of the 5th.
I'm definitely starting to see Harris in the 2nd more often along with guys like Quincy Wilson and Tim Williams. I agree with Jones not being there in the 3rd. Elflein is the tricky one, he started off as the top center for a lot of people, now I see him behind Pocic and Walterfootball.com even has him ranked third 3rd behind Toth. I'm not feeling the Brown pick either, especially with how well we do with undrafted ILBs. In my eyes Wilson will go in the 4th, maybe even be someone's Comp pick in the 3rd..
6 minutes ago, Edgar said:Anyone have a feel for where Switzer might go?
If I was a GM I'd take him in the 4th or 5th. He displayed that he has the ability to get open during senior bowl practice and he can return punts (was one TD away from tying the NCAA record for punt return TDs).
Baltimorebeatdown.com has us going...
RD1: Cory Davis, WR
RD2: Charles Harris, OLB
RD3: Roderick Johnson, OT
RD3 Comp: Sidney Jones, CB
RD4: Pat Elflein, C
RD5: Howard Wilson, CB
RD6: Jayon Brown, ILB

2nd choice is John Ross
(DifferentType of Speed )
3rd choice Mike Willams
MY PREDICTION: Zay Jones
could be a steal in the 2nd
Baltimorebeatdown.com just posted a 7 round mock with us taking him in the first. Several of their writers love him and every time they do a mock they somehow have us drafting him.
According to Courtney Fallon, we are to meet with Takk McKinley next month.
1 hour ago, ravensnation5220 said:I don't mind the first 2 rounds but the rest is aweful
Maybe it just me, but the first two rounds are field with so much potentially on the defensive side. I feel like we should take a shot at someone in one of those rounds. Especially since I feel like this team is good at finding OL talent in middle rounds.
So in Charlie Campbell's mock draft we don't come away with any of the top defensive talent available in the first two rounds... he has us going:
RD1: Cam Robinson, RT
RD2: Curtis Samuel, WR/RB
RD3: Wayne Gallman, RB
RD3 Comp: Daeshon Hall, DE
RD4: Jarron Jones, DT
According to Walter Football we had a private meeting with Raekwon McMillan.
1. We won't draft Westbrook because off the field issues.
2. The team has already talked about keeping Lewis at Guard, due to him being uncomfortable at the RT position.
3. Powers and Elam are no longer on the team and there is no chance they bring Elam back since he has been arrested.
