Before we get too high on mangold read what this article has to say about Mangold's play in recent years. https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-5-biggest-roster-needs-for-jets-in-2017/
Also add two more side judges that cover the deep part of the field 40-60 yards. They should be making the calls on PI or illegal contact, instead of the 50 year old out of shape ref trying to run down world class athletes at full speed. Too many calls are missed because a ref thinks they see something, or misses something due to this issue!
Eliminate the automatic 1st Down! Give a team the yardage for the penalty but replay the down!!!!!!!!
I love the message from Biscotti just said he was not in our plans for 2017. That is not a smart decision for a man who made millions over the last 4 years. I guess he was partying in the offseason. Even if it was recreational it is not smart to carry those quantities either.
The good news is that CB/S is a strength in this draft.
The day that this franchise became about Flacco was the day it became a losing franchise.
the more qb's picked before us the better value we end up with plus it makes our pick that much more attractive to teams drafting behind us. i hope we do not trade back but if the trade offer is too sweet to pass up on than we all know ozzie will take it. im just tired of hoarding picks we end up losing in 4 years
And those trade backs haven't resulted in pro bowl players either. We need studs, not role players.
Nice to hear some confidence out of Gillmore. We missed you last year.
Flacco won this contest the same way people still ask if he is elite. As a joke.
Without Justin Tucker the Ravens would have lost 3-4 more games this year. He is way more valuable than the majority of our team. Only if we had a coach and and QB that understood his value by taking the points when we are in his range instead of going for it on 4th Down, or turning the ball over.
IMO Perriman can become a number 1 WR, but needs to work on making the tough catches in traffic. If you look at his numbers in 2016 he had 66 targets for 499 yards and 3 TDs. Most number 1's are targeted ~140 times. If Perriman had the same production on 140 targets he would have had 1048 yards and 6 TDs.
PS: Why are Julian Edelman SB highlights on BR.com. SICKENING!
I can't believe Hensley cited "domestic violence" as a reason we wouldn't sign Marshall. When can we admit humans make mistakes? Marshall seems way past his immature days and is the guy we should target if released. Garcon is another viable option, but I also like Aiken who makes plays when given the opportunity.
We keep talking about getting more weapons for Flacco. Helping Flacco. What if Flacco isn't that good? Maybe we should be a run first team like the Cowboys. We have already over-invested in Flacco twice and now we want to cater the offseason to Flacco. That isn't a recipe for winning.
PS: My 2012 Flacco jersey will be donated to a fan this year.

Patriots fans are the worst!!!!
If you watch and understand the game, you would know that it is an impossible to compare players from different eras. You would also know that certain players have it much better than others in terms of their situation and the organization around them. The media and the public likes to gush about the "Greatest of All Time", but it is nonsense. I don't need to hear the media gush over Tom Brady anymore than they already have. Thanks BR.com for being a part of the problem!

I'm pretty sure they just direct deposit his account. Less paperwork, lol.
I've given up on hating the Pats. Count me in the group that doesn't want Ryan to get a SB ring for Flacco's sake. Having said that, I think Pat's defense wins this game.
That's a sad excuse to defend Flacco's game. I'm rooting for Ryan and the Falcons. Atlanta lost the only SB they played in and have been around for 51 years. Falcons fans have had it rough.

That is some twisted logic... EG: At home the advertisers can run live TV commercials with an attempt to target the type of viewer who watches football. That ad Revenue is shared league wide. VS: A season ticket holder pays ~$80-200 per ticket. At the game they drink and eat ~$20-60 worth in concessions. Many also pay another $40-100 for parking. Please explain to me how someone who watches from home spends more money on the Baltimore Ravens than someone who attends a game at the stadium?
Tough time with speed WRs? The NFL is littered with that lol. I haven't watched him play enough to give an honest opinion though.

Did you watch 2016? Darren Waller and Pitta were the starting TE's for the most of the season. Neither are good blockers. Pitta is shifty but slow, and Waller is simply mediocre receiving TE. Why not add talent? Gillmore is always hurt. Maxx Williams disappeared. We need to make sure we have something better than Pitta and Waller in 2017.
In the Next 5-10 years or so.. Ravens will have the largest Video board any stadium on earth. In stead of a 200 ft video board which is nice, Stadium wide video board, instead of just at the endzones... Have 2 at 50 yard line opposing sides.
I dont like it coming off a bad season but I understand importance of stadium value, modernizing the stadium experience etc
But you ultimately gotta win, I pretty high tech stadium means nothing if you keep missing the playoffs
Source on this?
At some point there has to be concern of pricing people out. IMO attending a game at M&T Bank in 2004 was just as good of a product as attending a game in 2016. Yes there are more TV boards, and fantasy updates today, but the atmosphere and the team make Ravens games worth paying for.
Prices should only be raised with inflation, or actual demand. Are more season ticket holders in line in 2017? Why is it so hard to sell my PSL at a discount to "market value"?
One major improvement that would improve gameday is reliable wifi, or legit infrastructure for cellular service throughout the stadium. Hopefully some of that $120M goes towards that.
Wow, this organization is really going all in. With all the questionable coaching moves and decisions, the mediocre performance that is slowly becoming a new norm for the Ravens, and now the increase in prices, I can really see our team tanking down real nice, if we won't have couple of 12-4 seasons and deep playoff runs in the next couple of seasons. Unfortunately, we are a looong way from being a playoff team. Can't see too much sunshine on the horizon any which way you look at it.
You know they were 1 play and about 1 yard off winning the division right? How much closer to being a playoff team can you be than that.
We lost to Cincinnati in Week 17. AKA we still lost the division regardless of that game. We are not a playoff team.
"Now with Marty back, I think they’ll do a great job together,” Caplan said. “I just think overall offensively, the sky is the limit for this team.” LOL, I won't hold my breath.
B-Marsh is the possession WR we need. You have to wonder if he wants to play in Baltimore after another mediocre season. That Mckinnie post was nice.

Pryor is a beast, but I think the price tag will be too high. 6-4 230lbs and ran a 4.35 40. (That is Calvin Johnson measurables) He has worked hard to stay in the league and develop into a WR. Give him some credit.
