  1. You can talk about how much he has improved in practice, but the coaches only care how he plays on gameday. So far Reynolds has not got it done this preseason. That just shows the coaches he isn't ready. The twitchy athleticism along with his work ethic will keep him on the practice squad to develop more. Think about the cerebral part of the game. The detail of the route running, how you set up DB's, how you find holes in the zone, communicating to the QB what you are seeing/how you can beat the db, and probably the toughest thing: catches in traffic. Butler and Aiken have proven they belong in this league because they can make the tough catches in traffic.
  2. O'dell is the best WR in the league. I don't see that, but I do think he will be a mismatch nightmare for DB's. Flacco looked pretty sharp placing the ball other than missing Wallace deep on the first play. This offense is going to give other teams fits.
  3. I agree, for our system, Lewis is a better fit at G than Urschel. We need maulers at G.
  4. Butler is on 53 man roster for sure, especially with the injury to Dixon and Watson. The question comes between C. Moore and Campanaro. I think Campanao falls short because of the medical history.
  5. That photo of Levine and Suggs is great! "El Jefe". If Perriman plays this week, it might be the most watch 4th Preseason game in Ravens history. Baltimore is ready for 4.26.
  6. And we already have 5. Suggs, Doom, McPhee, Judon, Correa.
  7. Judon doesn't not need to play special teams to dress on Sundays. He needs to get to the QB, which he has done in every game. On top of that, he always seems to be in pursuit of the ball which allowed him to lead the team in tackles through the first 3 games. Judon will provide depth and keep Suggs fresh. He could also be moved inside on passing downs because his bull rush will pressure the QB's face.
  8. Butler is on the team. No Worries. Smith, Aiken, Wallace, Butler, Perriman are locks. IMO the decision is Moore vs. Campanaro. I would 1000% take Moore for his upside and shorter medical history. IDK how we could keep 7 WR's. Maybe a trade will happen, but I like our guys.
  9. The issue with Pitta's finger is that specialists think he could easily re-injure it worse which could require surgery. That would be a much longer recovery time and could mess with the mobility/strength long term.
  10. I agree. It would be nice to know whats up.
  11. They say Dixon is out 4-8 Weeks after the MRI but the site doesn't have a source.
  12. Dang, I was so high on Dixon. He is clearly the most talented back we have, and that 20 yard run where he dragged the entire team was crazy! I wish there was a more definitive update on the severity of the injury. Everyone cross fingers/pray/ use some superstition on the MRI bringing some good news. This kid is the future!
  13. Affording Hester isn't the problem. Just doesn't seem logical to pay a player solely to be a returner, and his impact probably doesn't exceed the cost of signing him compared to a replacement player. We CERTAINLY have more than enough cap space to sign Bosa if we wanted to, but that's not an option anyway. We pay a player soley to he a long snapper, why not a returner. Im not saying I want Hester...im just sayin'. Our roster has many starting caliber players on the bubble at skill positions RB, TE, WR and some deep battles at other positions. When roster spots are tight, versatility become the name of the game. Only 53 make the team.
  14. Talifero, Arrington, are goners. Reynolds is going straight to the practice squad if he clears waivers for more punt return work. Kendrick Lewis is high risk too. Pitta is healthy and running routes like a monster. His cap figure was already reduced drastically. I could see him being a huge surprise this year if he holds up. Darren Waller is out also. A. Levine has makes big plays in seemingly every year during the preseason since he joined our roster in 2012. He is a solid special teams player and offers versatility. His sure tackling actually opened up an opportunity where he will drop down to play linebacker in passing down packages this year.
  15. Chris Mathews will be cut. He sits behind Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken, Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman, Jeremy Butler, Chris Moore, and Michael Campanaro on the depth chart. IMO Camp will also get cut.
  16. I love the TBT tweets. Especially Judon's. I expect both Judon, and Correa to see plenty of reps is pass rushing situations. This game is clearly about the Offense though. Flacco returns with the starters, including our new additions.
  17. I would have loved to have seen a clip of Perriman pushing that speed.
  18. Stanley has looked dominant in pass pro. His arm length and footwork create an unfair advantage on rushers.
  19. Enjoy their rookie deals sami.
  20. Stanley is a beast! I can't wait to see how he fares against the top pass rushers. I noticed Perriman cut his dreads. I think they were slowing him down ; )
  21. It is amazing we got him in the 5th Round. His traits of size/speed/athleticism compare very similar to Suggs. Judon's motor is shown even in his DII tape chasing guys down and getting after the QB. We have a healthy rotation of rushers with Suggs, Doom, McPhee, Correa, and Judon. Good luck QBs.
  22. It had to do with how much Clay brings to the table. We have other guys that are more versatile and everyone knew he was a long shot to make the team as a return specialist.
  23. Kenneth Dixon is a guy that needs to get touches any way possible. I would let him handle return duties until his role as RB increases.
