  1. My bad, now wondering who it was that was 5'7" or was I just mistaken all together Tavon Young is 5'9". Tavon Young also don't care that he is 5'9". He just wants your lunch money. What did you think of him outside today? I thought he outplayed Smith, but both guys played well.
  2. 1. Our defense has once again proven it is a great unit only allowing 1 TDs and 1 FGs. 2. Special Teams breakdowns were costly. 3. The fake FG after a pass for 2 yards, pass for negative 2 yards, and a check-down for 2 yards... NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! 4.We spent all this money in the offseason and only lost our LG on offense. How is our offense so terrible? TRESTMAN 5. When is the last time the Ravens won in a blowout under Trestman, or what I like call putting the game away? 6. Trestman desperately needs to watch the 2014 Kubiak tape and take notes. *That was when Flacco was at his best. 7. We finally scored an opening drive TD, and failed to score the rest of the game. 8. We lost that game 16-10. We were in FG range when Flacco failed to convert on 4th down. Remember that fake FG? Points sure look hard to come by... 9. We averaged 6.2 yards per carry and 4 yards per pass. We ran the ball 18 times and threw 47. This all makes sense and is a "balanced" offense. (OUR ROUTE TREES ARE TERRIBLE 0-5 yard completions) 10. What's frightening is that the majority of the NFL may have figured out Trestman' offense. It didn't take too long for his CFL gimmicks to be exposed. 11. Trestman may actually be bad enough lose his job year 2. With this play calling the offensive results will cont
  3. If we don't run the rock all over the skins sorry defense we have no hope against true playoff contenders. Lets be real. We should blow them out.
  4. Lewis let the man run right through his zone for a TD. It was def his fault. I thought Wright intentionally made it look like Crabtree was open deep so Carr could throw right into an INT.
  5. Tavon Young is a baller. You better believe he can play outside too.

  7. I was at the game and even noticed Zuttah and Jensen run blocking VERY well from the upper deck. PS: SSR is a living legend. We ran 26x for 130 yds and 2 TDs. The O-Line was mauling. Trestman's pass happy unbalanced offense exposed weaknesses in pass pro.
  8. Did you see how we were running the ball? We only ran 26 times and threw 52... Flacco Turnovers are also costly.
  9. Kubiaks runs play action and plays smashmouth. Thats what we need. Especially with our big physical run blocking o-Line that is having a tough time is pass pro. Everyone is hating on Jensen, but did you guys see the holes Terrence West had in the 2nd Half? Our O-Line was mauling in that game and we threw the ball 52 times.
  10. We need a LG to Step up and we need our Rookie 1st Round pick to step up to help this offense. Heavy Terrence West and some explosive plays from Dixon that turn a poorly blocked plays into 20 yards. That is what we need to help save our offense from atrocious playcalling. If we just played smashmouth and took play action shots deep our offense would run like a well oiled machine. When you change up your sets, your philosophy must remain the same. Commit to the RUN! Instead we get too cute. Trestman would rather look for a new way to run trips. Our defense has won every game. The defense can't be faulted for that loss, but they could have come up with a fg stand just as well. Carr is already becoming a great QB and one of the plays they gave up was due to injury (KENDRICK LEWIS) on the game winning TD. I could have made that play if I knew the play call. Wright was in cover 4 Zone but expected to funnel his man right into the safety (LEIWS) for an interception, or deflection. LEWIS just looks like a deer in the headlights and lets his man run right by him... You made over $200K for that game and you can focus for your 1st big play of the game. I would cut him today.
  11. We have scored a whopping 10 points in the 1st Quarter and a total of 16 points through 4 games. If our defense wasn't great this year we would be 0-4. Thanks Trestman. Flacco's O-Line is blamed far too often. He holds on to the ball a long as possible for guys to open up. His style of play includes taking hits to make big throws. Much like Ben. We need Kubiak's Play Action, Deep shot offense back!!!!!!!!!!
  12. You can say that, but if Hester were on the chopping block ... who's replacing him? Dixon? Yes, Hester had a muff ... yes, there is no guarantee that he won't have another - but who do you trust more? A guy who has been doing that particular job half his life or one who is totally new to the job (never even returned kicks or punts in college let along the NFL). The only way Hester is getting replaced is with a different kick/punt return specialist. Since the question is about whose spot will be taken by Waller and Dixon ... Hester is not the answer. The Hester Play was not a Muff... It was a veteran mistake where he should have cleared everyone out of the way because the gunner and his blocker were very close to the area where the ball was landing. Instead he went in for the fair catch and the gunner drove our blocker right into Hester as the ball was landing.
  13. InOzzieWeTrust! Dixon will give our running game the splash plays we have lacked, and Doom will add to our arsenal of pass rushers. I can't wait until this team comes together. There is too much talent and locker room guys to fail.
  14. It's not a problem at all. Weak competition is when you can afford to make mistakes and learn from them. The key here is to learn from your mistakes. Not turn a blind eye. I'm sure Flacco knows this and hope that they show up to work on Tuesday ready to eliminate mistakes because that really wasn't a good showing out there. That's 2 out of 3 wins won purely by our D and our ofense almost threw the games away. Time to get better! In harbs I trust! absolutely!
  15. Defense and Special Teams won another game for Baltimore. Trestman once again can't finish a team off. We need Dixon to help our offense finish drives with TDs. I heard an announcer say, "when you have a great defense you are in every game." Our defense is why we are 3-0 great job Ozzie and Pees!
  16. Pitta was wide open inside. It was an inaccurate throw by Flacco that caused the INT for sure.
  17. 100% agree on your points Ryan! Running the ball has always been a struggle for Trestman. We need those splash plays from Dixon.
  18. Don't forget coaching turned down a Tucker field goal for a 4th and 2 run. Flacco and Wallace look like a serious combo. Pitta was also huge in this game. He was hitting gains for huge chunks and 3rd Down conversions. Having a 5 WR rotation keeps guys fresh, but it also can hurt the rapport Flacco has with his main WRs. I think Chris Moore is worth playing though.
  19. Jerry Rosburg needs more respect! How does he do it? Don't forget he produced Hauschka and Gano. Signing Hester was the right move. Reliable, with a big play threat.
  20. This is not Plan B. Ozzie & Co. did the best with what free agency and the draft had to offer. Last season exposed some of our flaws in this evolving game we call football. I personally think Ozzie has crushed the last two drafts. Just understand Perriman is a high upside pick that had a bad streak of injuries.
  21. So after all the hype of the offense, our kicker and defense win the game. The defense looked like midseason form and would have had more sacks if Tyrod wasn't so hard to bring down. Zach Orr's speed and instincts are a huge difference maker. I couldn't believe how well Wright tackled outside today. Weddle also flashed some of his speed and playmaking ability. As much as the media will point fingers at the Rookies giving up pressures, Joe needs to do a better job sliding in the pocket. Trestman needs to make adjustments to blitz packages and use the TE's more. We scored 13 pts with all the talent in the world at skill positions and no true threat from Buffalo's offense. We need TD's against playoff contenders. Overall you have to be happy with the effort, and come away knowing the arrow is pointing up on this team. PS: It's nice having Hester back there making decisions on kicks and punts. We didn't have a specialist since we let Jacoby go.
  22. Camp has been productive when he's been on the field. He has shown quickness, the ability to separate, good hands, the ability to make catches in traffic, and the ability to make people miss in the open field. He's shown all that and made plays in a very limited amount of snaps. He hasn't proven that he's capable of staying healthy, but he has proven he is capable of playing at a high level when he's been on the field. When? I saw him run one WR reverse for 10 yards. Other than that he hasn't done anything and has been injury prone his entire stint with us. Butler better make the cut over Camp.
  23. Perriman looked physical at the line of scrimmage against press. We wanted to get his feet wet, but are saving that go route for Buffalo.
