  1. The Flacco first Offensive identity is a complete JOKE! We missed the playoffs every year we decided to go pass happy after the SB run. 2013, 2015, 2016. In 2014 we had Gary Kubiak, who is known for offensive balance. We went 10-6, Flacco had his best season, and we lost a nail biter in NE that we could have easily won. NE won the SB that year. Find an offensive coordinator that will commit to the run and use our skill players properly. Someone who values controlling the clock and keeping the defense off the field. 16th Pick: (Dalvin Cook or Deont'a Foreman) I am usually against drafting a RB Round 1, but this team needs to be forced into running the football, and there are some big, fast, and talented backs that will go round 1 this year.
  2. It's sad that we didn't feed Sr more this year. I wonder if we add another WR or if Perriman gets his shot.
  3. Our last TD drive that was capped with the Juice TD is how we should have run our offense the entire year. Sucks that we play this sorry, pass happy game with Flacco, as if he is our Tom Brady, instead of getting physical and bullying teams like the Cowboys. Time to move onto the draft. We need a C, G, CB, and more pass rushers and a LEGIT offensive coordinator.
  4. A bunch of soft coverage and easy 1st down conversions that stopped the clock. DBs should have allowed catches to happen in-bounds and made the tackles in-bounds needed to kill clock. Worst case scenario should have been a FG. Bitter let down to cap off a season that was littered with (Not Good Enough Performances). We played 1 complete game the entire year vs the Dolphins. At least our field position improved the last 2 games without Hester! Way to go Harbs!
  5. Flacco needs help, The O-Line has been a band aid all year,...and now you see why we should RUN the ball! Geez..they better pay the kid Dixon, hes a warrior. if we can find a better balance of run/pass. Get a solid OG/OT we are gonna be ok..The D should upgrade secondary Too...needed I miss the days when we could just pound it down a defenses' throat. Need to get O-Line upgraded in the off-season. Pass rush is also a big need. And while I'm at it, the secondary needs some Jimmy Smith insurance. Truth
  6. "Ravens need more playmakers" - More like Ravens need to utilize playmakers. This coaching staff is something man. Every week Dixon outplays West, yet West gets more reps. Every week we talk about running the football and proceed to throw 70% of the time. How do we not take shots with Wallace deep? Or allow Perriman to win jump balls in the redzone? Using Pitta past 5 yards. Feeding SSR and allowing him to get yards after the catch. The "high completion" short passing game was our offensive identity this year (along with many 3 & Outs). Flacco finally gets to 4000 yards but we all know that isn't the recipe for success. Pees usually does a great job against Pittsburgh but that soft prevent that allowed Steelers WR's to stop the clock (every time) on the final drive was terrible. After Juice picked up that first down, I wanted him to knee it at the 1. Run more clock and score. Sucks to suck John.
  7. Can't turn the ball over Joe. Protect the lead. Let Tucker continue his historic run.
  8. We could improve upon Wright and Powers, but Tavon Young is a beast. PFF said Young only allowed 16 of Brady's 400 yards. We need Jimmy back for Pittsburgh.
  9. Ray Lewis would have more Super Bowls. Guaranteed.
  10. I love playing the Patriots as a Ravens fan! It is right up there with Pittsburgh. PS: Suggs is just playing nice to the media. He absolutely hates #12 and refuses to call him by his name.
  11. Power Rankings are meaningless. Winning the Division, securing a playoff spot, and winning in the playoffs is what matters.
  12. Having both Dumervil and Suggs together is huge. I can't wait to see what the defense does in New England.
  13. That pick in the end zone was the interception of the year IMO. Webb went max effort on that play, and that layout catch in traffic was beautiful. Watching in the stadium, I couldn't believe he came up with the catch.
  14. I have been a tough critic of Flacco the entire year, but he had his way with the Miami Dolphins. I'm hoping this is December Joe flipping the on switch. I saw improved mobility, but his accuracy was on point the entire game. Flacco's one interception was a terrible decision, but he thought he could make the throw. The game plan looked like we decided to let Flacco win this game for us. The ability to run effectively also helped.
  15. Stay clean Nick. We needed your skill set the last 10 weeks and you could have been working towards that starting role/second contract. EYES ON THE PRIZE!!!
  16. Corey Graham was a solid player. He was a reliable corner for the Bills for several years after Baltimore. We definitely miss KO, but you can only pay so many people. We need to follow Dallas and stack our O-Line. Life looks easy for Dak. They don't even need a good defense because their Offense is always on the field.
  17. Feed Dixon man. He gives our offense life with the extra efforts and as a receiver. We need to keep the chains moving and control clock. This game of football doesn't have to be as complex as we make it.
  18. Please use Dixon more. It's so obvious he is a better option for our offense than West, primarily because of the receiving and make you miss threat. IMO let Jimmy rest this week and roll with our back-ups. Without AJ Green, it will be tough for Cinncy to beat us downfield.
  19. Flacco's cap hit SMH... And we did abandon the run. Being down two scores in the 3rd quarter is no excuse. Keep our defense off the field so they can regroup. Dixon NEEDS MORE CARRIES! West is a 1 cut back with mediocre vision. Dixon give our offense life, both as a runner and receiver with Flacco's check downs.
  20. Yeah when the zebra's refuse to call push off's it's easy to get open. That play where he just shoves Tavon Young in the helmet full extended arms and they just let it slip. SMH.
  21. That 2:00 minute drill down 10 points was embarrassing by Flacco and reinforces Ray's questioning of his drive. If I am Ozzie, I draft a QB in every draft. Ryan Mallet clearly isn't pushing Flacco lead to this team. Our defense played well until they were left hanging by the zebra's and the offense. Pees got into this soft zone coverage that allowed easy completions for Prescott and eventually Dallas got things going. How do we continue to feed West when Dixon looks more effective every time he touches the ball? So painful to watch these personnel decisions and bad offense continue. (PS: the zebra's protected the Star in that game. How many obvious PI's did they let go on critical 3rd downs for our offense? How many times did they let Dez Bryant and Terrence Williams push off on their routes in tight coverage? The NFL has become more and more of a production, and less of an competitive sport. Remember close games sell beer and TV ads! Home teams are NEVER blown out anymore.
  22. I have waited 9 years for Flacco to become the leader of this offense and take control, vs being reliant on the Offensive Coordinator, and the scheme we run. I thought the Super Bowl run was his ascension, but in reality he was just balling out in a good system. It has always felt like Flacco thrives in the no huddle-spread offense, but when we try that early in games, it typically fails. IMO he is at his best in a run heavy, play action offense where he can protect the football, yet use his mobility and arm talent to hit WRs and TE's on multiple levels of the field. We always want to put him in that "elite" category, but in reality he is simply a talented system quarterback that has all the physical traits you want in a QB. I just wish his play recognition, and command of the offense was better. See the mismatch before the snap and attack it. That's all Brady, Rodgers, and Manning ever do. They are not super heroes. They just find the mismatch pre-snap and audible to create one if none exists.
