Yeah, two full seasons in 2013 and 2015, but in many seasons except for that awful Lisfranc halfway through 2014 out in Cincinnati, Jimmy has often been able to battle back, i.e. 2012. Meanwhile, I know most people have been picking on Dumervil & especially more so J. Smith this year as the modern day whipping boys, but suddenly the critics have silenced about Lardarius Webb. However, I'll just point out, despite being a fan of his as well, that he's been in the league since 2009, two years prior to his once-upon-a-time cornerback counterpart, and has played precisely the same amount of full 16-game seasons, TWO, just like Jimmy. That will change at the end of this season if Webb, who would have likely missed more time yet again this season if not for the luckiness of Lardarius' timing on that one (going into a bye week), can complete this season relatively healthy. I will also note his issues have been far more serious at times, what with encountering two ACL demons, including during the sixth game (vs. Cowboys, overshadowed by Ray Lewis' injury) of the 2012 season when the B4LT1M0RE RAVEN$ became Super Bowl CH4MP10N$.
At least Jimmy was a huge contributor that year, especially on that SB XLVII final drive, where he and Corey Graham kept Michael Crabtree from scoring on three consecutive passing plays by the 49ers. Also, I won't forget WHY or HOW he got hurt during his first game ever in the NFL, amid his 2011 rookie season: the season opener 9/11 game against Pittsburgh, a 35-7 Ravens win, in which for some strange reason our first round pick and defensive back standout hopeful suffered an injury while playing on special teams kickoff duties. Even still, in the AFC championship that year, Pollard's tip for the pick by Jimmy Smith is something I'll also never forget, meaning that Jimmy is a warrior who bounces and battles back! How many folks were critical of Ed Reed in the latter stage of his career following the 2007 season, when he dealt with many missed games as well, but always found a way to show up for the final stretch aka playoff run? My elephant-esque memory hasn't forgotten all the folks turning on him either!
Instead of spitting on important members of the team (I'm not saying the quoted person was, but some so-called fans have been), why don't we all just hope beyond his 2014 lisfranc injury issue that Jimmy remains relatively healthy with nothing too serious, a la Webb's early day ACL problems. Meanwhile, he and the team will continue going forward, while they are certainly not worrying about the past in the first place, whereas us fanatics harp on history. If he is maybe minus a few matchups at most here & there — like a majority of players in a violent league — and can get this muscular back ordeal currently bothering him in order, similar to what his best bud Shareece Wright was dealing with previously this season (a player who seems to be here for that reason alone, by the way, as he's had exactly one stellar game as a Raven in recent memory, the season/home opener vs. Bills), then I'll take that! After all, I think we all know just how vital of a cog #22 is to this and any year's RAVENous defense.
Obviously, moving ahead, a minimal amount of injuries is always key for any/every player/team. I for one will NOT pile on during one's darkest days. Imagine how players like Jameel McClain (who spoke of how alone you feel in those times away from your team) & Lardarius Webb must have felt to have to stand on the sideline and watch perhaps their lone opportunity to ever contribute in a Super Bowl contest! Hence, with that in mind, I won't kick these guys while they are down. We can hope they are merely fast healers and cheer for them to come back, but it's nonsense to go ragging on a guy just for the sake of it. So many were ready to abandon Elvis Dumervil, yet he came back with a vengeance, and if not for his fumble recovery in his own territory plus another forced fumble on the even more crucial, backs-against-the-wall, final Bengals drive this past Sunday, who knows what might have been? Thus, I'm gonna root for the team's best DB, if not defensive cornerstone as well (arguably second most pivotal player to lose after #5), to get back and help his fellow teammates on a tough stretch & playoff push!

Yes, in 2013 and 2015, in which he played 16 full games and started all of them. Webby's track record, on the other hand, is a different story.

16 games played, 16 games started in both 2013 and 2015 actually.
Ah, yes, PersianRaven gets it!
(In reference to the porous proofreading that regularly takes place by the authors penning these types of articles, so to speak. Granted, I'm presuming a "probable" designation — to borrow some NFL terminology — that this is likely due to rushing often occurring, since they must meet their deadlines and such, in all fairness. But still, even so . . . "C'MON MAN!")
Well, this surely was not a statement article, as I can clearly see, albeit I do have a couple statements of my own in regard to this written work. First off, the B4LT1M0RE RAVEN$ beat the Cleveland Browns 28-7, as opposed to "21-7" like this piece would lead one to believe. Then there is the fact that later on, and perhaps most preposterously, the Cincinnati Bengals' record is erroneously exclaimed to stand at "4-5-1" as per the initial posting of this content. However, instead of said team being capable of somehow magically already accomplishing an impossible feat of competing in 10 games thus far, despite NFL Week 10 not even being completed yet — with one upcoming away contest tonight against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, as was correctly noted — the "Jungle Bungles" are unquestionably not participating in their eleventh game this evening! How can there only be ten existent weeks of 2016 regular season play, yet one organization's math apparently adds up to eleven total games after tonight's prime time showdown is finished? In reality, considering "Cinci" is coming off a bye week, this will actually mark their ninth game on the schedule. In other words, they are currently in third place of the AFC North with a real record of 3-4-1 going into tonight's ESPN stand-alone showcase.

And how does Kamar Aiken not get put in with smith, forsett and co? he was the top receiver at the end of last season and pulled off clutch plays consistently. i'd rank him higher than perriman at this point. he's proven he deserves a shot at #2 at the least. perriman is #3 at best because he is unknown, inexperienced and as far as we know... injury prone.
The reason Eisenberg did not lump Kamar Aiken in with the rest of the surrounding weapons listed is because he was noting specific skill players as the supporting cast around Joe Flacco who are currently rehabbing injuries. Whereas the aforementioned Aiken is not coming off of any season-ending injuries, let alone the fact that he is not considered an injury prone player, seeing as he has remained consistently healthy and on the field. However, some seem to think Breshad Perriman might be so, as it is quite evident that there are often times many fans out there who tend to make assumptions amid their allusions to said possibility of proneness to injury. While that scenario may still be a question mark per se, in reference to Perriman, I for one believe that to be an erroneous, facetiously drawn conclusion. Granted, I also think if that is indeed the case, then it is merely due to how the whole situation was handled (mainly by the organization's strategic, tight-lipped choices) and how it all played out last season. What with the so-called "false" information initially reported, followed by Perriman physically re-tweaking his injury, while perhaps simultaneously rushing / being rushed back, and equally as vital, the proverbial prohibition of permission for Perriman to be able to publicly address the issue.
Albeit the latter part of that is understandable, as it is a given component of competitive advantage carried out by ALL NFL franchises, if not to an even greater extent by the likes of perennially top tier teams from the upper echelon of contenders. For instance, look no further than a little bit northward in Belichick & the Patriots, as they are renowned for practically setting precedent in that regard! All of us rabid--or rather, RAVENous fans--thirst for knowledge, in that we demand to be filled in / updated in real time and such, although I am glad Harbs & Co. typically choose to keep the "files" under wraps, even as it naturally creates its fair share of hysteria, for it is just like Eisenberg mentioned in this article, every Yin has its Yang, I s'pose. The optimistic folks such as myself could very well end up being extremely incorrect, but I sure do hope Perriman proves to be a key commodity in future success for our consistent contender known as the Baltimore Ravens, and in doing so, hopefully he shows himself to be the proper selection made for the long term, and most importantly, I'm sure we can all concur wholeheartedly with the notion that we're hopeful he makes a strong recovery / remains healthy throughout his career, and leaves behind the recent setback as a freak, one-time-occurrence, as well as an eventual, distant memory!

Actually, the posters were talking about Terrence Brooks being kept over Matt Elam and referring to how BROOKS (not Elam) was in the doghouse & subsequently cut before last season. Follow below:
Yea, I actually felt the same way but I am sure there was some type of logical reasoning behind it. We don't usually give up on third rounders that easily.
Yeah he was is in harbaughs dog house because of some mental mistakes in Practice
