It isn't judging after a month. It is watching college games, reading scouting reports, Looking at PFF, all those things play in. But hey, isn't that what being sports fan is all about? Predict, watch, cheer and 2nd guess. I thought the Perriman pick was bad a week before they made it. Bad hands, lacking a full route tree, Ravens drafted a 40 time/height/personality. Stanley had a rep for being soft and lacking strength for an NFL lineman. I see him performing somewhere in the Oher to Monroe range long term. Not terrible but falling short of what the Ravens expect from a #6 pick.

I love the Ravens but I am gonna tell ya...there will never be a day when anyone will honestly prefer Stanley/Correia/Kafusi over Buckner/Mack/Fuller. This draft isn't gonna go down as a good one especially when it could been a great one.

I don't think anyone holds Perriman responsible. We are just disappointed that the Ravens have apparently wasted last year's 1st round pick like they did this year. Twice they passed on better talent for a "safe" pick and it is blowing up in their face. Stanley is gonna end up the same way. Either through injury or through mediocrity, the Raven's best "nice" player available strategy is gonna fail.
