  1. I think it's just as likely that it's Bosa/Jack
  2. Man, I had high hopes for Arthur Brown. I feel like if he didn't show any signs of development this years with all the injuries then we won't get anything more out of him from here. But cutting him won't provide much cap relief and he's not so terribly bad that he wouldn't be worth 1 mil to have as a backup.
  3. well if by some miracle he makes the team, than he was better than one of the running backs that we have. Still doesn't hurt us. I'm with you. If he edges out Zo for the 3 spot then we have a short yardage bruiser and a guy thats not so injury prone. For no more cap space. If Ozzie Newsome is doing it then I trust it.
  4. The Trent Richardson evaluation is very intriguing to me. I don't necessarily like it due to his recent years, which have been painful to watch, but a part of me hopes he's given a shot. I'm just curious to know what you guys think about the whole thing. Do you see him competing for the 3rd RB spot with Terrence West and Zo? Is he worth looking at as a short yardage back? Do you envision him ever reaching a starting role as a Raven?
  5. Ravens fan since 5th grade. From small town Tennessee. I find it so incredible to see fans from all of the world on here. True Ravens fans are few and far between around here so I have plenty of chances to shut down trash talking Cowboy or Titans fans. But it is nice to interact with other dedicated fans on here. Ravens football is an enormous part of my life and I'm happy to see so many like-minded users.
  6. Talking cap situation always bums me out lol
  7. It's impossible to predict how active we'll be. We didn't see the Ngata trade coming. That kicked off the free agent frenzy in a wild way for Ravens fans. Never know what trades could be in the work. Especially considering the number of picks we have in our possession.
  8. True, being Super Bowl champs does that to players. We know that first hands.
  9. Both will have unprecedented price tags and we could add guys with higher upside in the draft
  10. Perhaps, Danny Trevathan or Brandon Marshall? Could come reasonably cheap.
  11. I really like that scenario. It would be hard to watch our first top 10 pick in over a decade go but we'd likely get a 2nd and a 4th while still grabbing an immediate starter who has potential to be a pro bowler opposite of Jimmy Smith.
  12. Jim Leonard was an instinctive player for us who always played full speed, so as far as little known Ravens go he's probably my all time favorite. As for as current players of, I'm a big fan of John Urschel and i think eventually Darren Waller will be a big time players in the league once his techniques are refined.
  13. It's hard not to sit and day dream about a pass rush consisting of Doom and Sizzle on the outside, Bosa and Jernigan at each end, and big Brandon Williams in the middle.... *wipes drool*
  14. Yeah but this year has a boom of mid round talent with the large number of juniors leaving school. I wouldn't want to lose to many opportunities at those guys and it would take a lot for a team to trade all the way out of the first day of the draft.
  15. My hopes are Bosa-William Jackson III. More realistic though i see Buckner-Fuller.
  16. But cutting Monroe gains us very little in cap. Considering we invested so much in him it's hard for me to see us just cutting him. And the injuries have been painful for us but the chance of him performing at the level that he did in Jacksonville is worth more, IMO, than a couple mil and a lot more dead money. I know comparison are made every year and most fall short but Ramsey's resemblance to Patrick Peterson makes him the most exciting prospect for me. That said, exciting doesn't equal BPA.
  17. You really see Tunsil at the top of our board? No doubt, he'd be a great pick for us but I don't see it as a higher BPA+Need than CB. I believe Monroe will be back and worth taking to chance on his health but add depth behind him later in the draft. Also, I just can't see Buckner ahead of Bosa because he's viewed as a DE-DT and Bosa can play DE-OLB much like Suggs, which is a much larger area of need coming in the next couple couple with Doom and Suggs aging. My view of our board: 1.Ramsey 2.Bosa 3.Tunsil 4.Buckner 5.Jack 6 Hargreaves (If those 5 are gone I see Ozzie trading back)
  18. Im hoping for Wright or Brothers in the 3rd. Id rather grab a guy like Buckner and have a physical freak, much like a Kalais Campbell for Arizona, than have to spend our 6th overall on a guy coming off a season ending injury. A La Myles Jack.
  19. Okay but what decided OUR last super bowl? Joe's historic run to and through it. Also, no one is calling for Ozzie Newsome's head. The man is as safe in the league as any GM. The problem this year was injuries. He will fix the defensive issues in the draft, including replacing Darryl Smith, while still having a franchise QB on contract for 5 more years. Or would you rather be in the same boat as the Browns, searching for a QB annually just to even be mediocre?
