    Everyone looks impressive when they're playing against rookies and there isn't any tackling.
  2. Why does character matter in a top draft pick? Because you want a guy like Stanley, who will work hard despite his talent. It took Trent Richardson three years to figure that out. Terrence Cody never figured it out.

    So Mike Wallace isn't a lock to make the team? I'm pretty sure he is. So if our top four are SS, Perriman, Aiken, and Wallace, Chris Moore takes the fifth spot, Camp or Clay take #6, Reynolds is held in reserve to serve out his military commitment, and all the others either released or sent to PS.

    At least Elam wasn't drafted #1, like Eric Fisher. Still, it's hard to do worse with your first two picks than Elam and Arthur Brown. Somebody was asleep at the switch that year.

    Criticizing the Ravens for picking so many potential contributors is nuts. The best 53 players will make the squad. If that means some vets get cut, that's just pro football.

    Was hoping for Bosa, but once the Chargers took him at 3, the Cowboys took Elliott at 4, and you knew the Jags would snap up Ramsey, Stanley became the clear, logical pick. Now the focus has to be pass rusher and CB. Let's get Spence in Round 2 and a good corner in 3.

    Once Bosa was off the board and no trade back was in the works, it had to be Stanley. Much safer pick than Tunsil. Now the question is will the Ravens release Monroe in June to save big bucks? Can they switch him to guard?

    Ravens top two picks should be a rusher and a CB. If Bosa is gone, then I could be happy with Lawson or Hargreaves as #1. Buckner just gives us more of what we already have. We need to plug some holes.

Elam to ISL where he'll at least have a chance to bump into somebody else's guy.

    Sure hope the Browns don't swoop in and steal him from us. Not many running backs who can average 3 yards a carry over their career.

    If 3 Qbs are taken right away, it means the Ravens get either Ramsay, Bosa, or Tunsil. I can live with that.
