  1. I know what SSS, Aiken, and Wallace can do in a real game. Let's just hope that Perriman can start a new chapter in our history by catching a few passes on 9/11/16.
  2. I love it when a plan comes together.
  3. I have followed him on Twitter for a while now. He was praying for Baton Rouge in one post. The next post I saw stated that he's back with the Ravens. I guess the plot thickened enough for him to return. Clever use of the IR Ravens. The NFL.com page had this to say about the move: "By cutting Forsett, the Ravens were able to carry defensive lineman Carl Davis and safety Matt Elam on their initial 53-man roster. Both Davis and Elam were then put on injured reserve Monday, making them eligible for the one "designated to return" label in the middle of the season (if a player is placed on IR prior to being on the 53-man roster he becomes ineligible for the return designation)."
  4. Justin Forsett is still our number one RB.
  5. Keenan Reynolds might turn out to be as good as Tyrod Taylor.
  6. Maybe Pitta will be a game day scratch due to the lingering finger injury?
  7. I'm not upset with our depth at OLB and SLB with Suggs and Dumervil returning. We have Smith, McClelland, Judon, and Carter off of the bench. The big question will be whether or not Pitta can make it through the season without injury. Our TE position is pretty thin until Waller returns after his 4 game suspension. Crockett and Williams will need to catch more passes if Pitta goes down. Keeping Reynolds on the practice squad gives us another option at emergency QB behind David Fales. Before you laugh, remember how Navy pulled a 3rd string QB out of the stands yesterday in their game.
  8. Having a guy on the squad who is a proven kickoff and punt returner will mean a world of difference. For those who may have forgotten how important this is and how much we've missed it recently watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPRQIx8qFGY
  9. Add Wallace with Smith in the slot position and we will have a dangerous WR corp.
  10. I enjoyed watching Ngata with the Ravens. Still, I would like to see them sign Willians to an extension rather than resign him.
  11. Butler knows the playbook and has proven that he can make the plays. I see him sneaking through on the 53 man roster. What happens when the injured and suspended Ravens return will determine his future later on.
  12. Incidents are rare where bats carry rabies. They are very helpful mammals who eat more than their share of mosquitos. I was wondering about the photographer who was focused on the bats rather than the amazing play that Butler made.
  13. Wallace seems happy with the Ravens. He sure seems to thrive with Flacco in there. I'm sure the number situation will settle after the cuts are made. If he wanted number 17, then he would have asked for it earlier in camp. On the other hand, Butler looked pretty good out there, too.
  14. With Dixon's knee injury, it looks like we will go with Forsett, Allen, and West to start the season.
  15. No one wanted to see this happen. Tight end will be riding on Pitta, Williams, and Gillmore until Waller gets back from suspension. Let's see if we pick up someone after the cuts to 75 happen.
  16. I'm excited to see the passing game unfold. I hope the secondary and the pass rush keeps the offense on the field. Where is that 3-headed monster?
  17. I just would like to see consistency in the secondary and have the confidence to think that we can stop the big pass play on 2nd and 3rd down. Last year, we didn't stop other teams from driving down the field on us even on 4th down in most games. Losing Elam is not the end of our hope because we have Weddle and Webb to hold down the safety position. We need the cornerbacks to step up their game, too. As for the running game, I think that Dixon brings a little more speed and a similar skill set to Allen. The RB situation will go down to the wire right before the season begins. None of them looked all that good against the Colts.
  18. I'm wondering what happens to his Navy commitment if he doesn't make the team outright and goes to the practice squad.
  19. Why would they even consider putting guys like Webb and Smith on PR duty when we have Campanaro and Reynolds fighting for the position? The injury risk is way too high.
  20. Wallace is going to be such a deep threat this season. Perriman will be back, but when he gets on the field he will still be buried deep in the depth chart. I think that putting him on PUP for the first 6 weeks will be the safest route to go.
  21. Reynolds has good hands and a knack for finding the end zone. He often displays a burst of speed after catching the ball as is evident in this practice clip. Still, he will have a hard time making the team if he doesn't master the art of catching punts under pressure. It might be possible to stash him on the PS if he becomes a late cut in preseason. Meanwhile, the eyes of the Navy are on him and that might be the one saving grace that gets him on the roster.
  22. We have a challenge getting them all on the field, but the benefit of depth at the position is that it will keep their legs fresher during the grind of the season. Once we add Forsett to the mix, then we will see the 4-headed monster take off into the sky.
  23. Towson Tiger West is well on his way tonight.
  24. Waller is not looking so good, but West sure did.
