  1. Perriman reminds me of Travis Taylor. The potential is there but he has not proven anything on the field yet, so I will hold off on the bust tag until Travis, ehrm, Breshad gets a season under his belt.
  2. Day one: pick from Bosa, Buckner, Hargreaves, or Jack. Day two: OL, OLB, WR and fill in the other positions through round 7.
  3. I sure hope that Perriman is able to play this year. I don't care who the Ravens pick at number 6 just as long as we don't trade down. It would be a crime to miss out on their highest pick since 2000. Let's see how it turns out at the end of the month.
  4. I just hope that he becomes the 3rd down back for now. Hopefully, he will get a few carries in the exhibition games to bolster his confidence.
  5. I'll give him a clean slate when he puts on the purple, black, and white.
  6. He's a solid pick who will be ready to start by next season.
  7. If not Smith, then Lee of Ohio State in the 3rd round. I really see us taking a CB in the 2nd. As for the 1st round, it will be whomever is the BPA at the time.
  8. I really like Lee of Ohio State. I hope that we can pick him up in the 3rd round.
  9. Watson is a veteran who knows how to get open.
  10. Why not? As of now he is Watson will be the check-down receiver that Flacco needs on 3rd down and will be invaluable in the red zone.
  11. One guy the Ravens should pick is Le'Raven Clark OT 6'5" 312 The name says everything!
  12. Lee Evans@droppedtheball.com
  13. All he needs is to taste the success that he had in Pittsburgh by having a 100 yard receiving game or two.
  14. The age of Suggs and Dumerville make it almost impossible that we don't draft 2 replacements this year. Free agency doesn't hold all the cards in restoring our defense. Jack might be the answer. The guy reminds me of a young Ray Lewis. It would be a dream to line up a high motor guy like Jack next to CJ on any given Sunday. The problem is that the Jags have their eye on him too and they draft just ahead of us. As long as the knee holds out, I would put him near the top of my short list at number 6. He would make an immediate impact similarly to that of Kuechly with the Panthers, who had 62 tackles in his rookie season in 2012. Needless to say, I'll be happy with whomever is left on the board (Stanley, Elliott, Buckner, Hargreaves, or Bosa). I don't see us trading down unless someone offers us another #2 pick.
  15. Really hoping that he stays healthy this year!
  16. I guess that there will be 2 less if we go ahead and draft Elliott.
  17. Walterfootball.com has us picking Buckner in the 1st and Decker in the 2nd.
  18. Once a player injures his knee...
  19. Unless your name is Tunsil or Stanley, I don't see you coming into B-more and starting, son.
  20. May the Schwartz be with us.
  21. We definitely need someone to give us hope for the next decade. Elliott would be a superstar running back for 8-10 years. Ray Rice had good hands and could break a long run on occasion, but we have lacked a serious power running game since the days of Jamal Lewis. I see Elliott as a hybrid, check-down receiver out of the backfield, who also possesses magical moves on the running plays. Some people are comparing him to Adrian Peterson in his prime already. It will be hard not to see him as the best player available if he is on the board. Unfortunately, we have a glaring weakness at the LT position with the departure of Osemele and Monroe's frequent injury history. The corner back position isn't looking very sharp right now, too. Suggs and Dumerville are aging rapidly, not to mention that Suggs is coming off of a major injury at his age. We need a guy like Bosa, Buckner, Ramsey, Hargreaves, Stanley, et. al., too. I will be less than happy if we trade down from the best draft position in over a decade and lose out on one of these guys (Elliott included.).
  22. Either way, I'd be happy. The only other options would be to trade up for Ramsey or Jack, or to trade down for Elliott.
  23. As much as I hate piling on an old post, I must add that there is little to no chance of Ramsey being there at number 6. Some polls have him going number one or two. The Browns might take a QB at number two but certainly the other teams would grab him and Jack if either is there when they pick ahead of the Ravens. It might come down to Buckner, Bosa, Hargreaves, Stanley or Elliott. I was sold on Bosa for a long time now, but I would be just as happy if we took Buckner. Other guys to seriously consider would be Hargreaves, Stanley and Elliott. Hargreaves is the runner-up choice to taking Ramsey, who would require us to trade up to the number 2 slot to get. We need a LT badly, but to pick up a guy like Elliott would change the whole dynamic of our offense and open up the vertical game because teams would need to stack the box to defend against the long run. Elliott looks like he will slip past the Cowboys now that they signed Morris for 2 years.
  24. Would we need to trade down to draft Elliott? I don't see us doing so if Bosa or Buckner are on the board.
  25. The first time that he sacks #7 on the Steelers (Roethlisberger) or #12 (Brady) on the Patriots on a safety blitz the fans will be screaming loudly from Ocean City, MD to York, PA, welcoming a new era in defense to Baltimore, Eric Weddle.
