  1. Tucker deserves a contract for at least 4 to 5 years based upon his performance over the past seasons. He is in the prime of his career and will continue to keep the Ravens competitive. It's just a matter of time.
  2. Please don't paint our new grass turf.
  3. We have enough depth on the OL to let a disgruntled veteran like Monroe go and take the salary cap hit.
  4. Once again, Perriman is a big question mark. Can Smith return fully effective from his injury? I think that Wallace and Aiken will be the starters in September.
  5. Pressbox.online article has Benjamin Watson, Crockett Gillmore, Maxx Williams as the 3 TEs who make the roster. Williams showed flashes late last year of being a productive pass-catcher, but he'll need to do more on special teams as well. Gillmore appears healthy again, and Watson is the veteran pickup who leads the group. Dennis Pitta will undoubtedly put in a valiant effort to make the team, but the Ravens will want as few health questions or outside distractions as possible on this roster. I see Pitta ending up on the PUP list again this season.
  6. Waller is an injury or two away from starting. Who knows what he can do once he hits the field in the exhibition season?
  7. Regardless of how we feel about Cleveland in football and baseball, you must hand it to them that they went from firing their coach after signing James, then winning the NBA championship after falling behind 3 games to 1. I'm always cheering for the underdogs and this year they seemed to pull out an amazing comeback. The Ravens will be the underdogs this season after that horrible record last year. Let's hope that our underdogs can make the playoffs and prove the critics wrong, too. There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!
  8. Having Correa shift roles is a typical Ravens defensive move that has panned out in the past with other players. Some people are fixated on shifting to a 4-3 rather than a 3-4 to accommodate the addition of speedy young players. It will be interesting to see how Mosely steps up his game now that he's the defensive captain and key player in the middle of the field. The addition of Weddle running the secondary will help him immensely.
  9. The addition of Mike Wallace makes the Ravens receiving corp much more explosive and less predictable. This will free up SSS and Aiken for the over-the-middle and sideline short passes, too. I seriously like the chances that Forsett will be back to the 2014 standard, Allen will be more mature and hold on to the ball a little better, and Dixon will add that 3rd head to the three-headed monster running attack. Ground and pound then bombs away!
  10. If Alex Lewis and Ronnie Stanley turn out to be excellent then we will forget about Monroe.
  11. I see Wallace as the clear-cut number one receiver right now. He is the experienced deep threat that teams will be game planning against regardless of his down season at Minnesota last season. Aiken earned the right to compete as the second wideout with Steve Smith Sr. simply based upon his production last year. Yes, we might see Perriman later on in the season, but I seriously doubt that he will be ready for preseason or at the start of the year. I don't see Moore at number 5, but either Campanaro or Reynolds will edge him out in preseason. Matthews and Waller are long-shots because the team might not carry a 7th receiver except to fill in STs positions. There is a potential for a late preseason pickup, but please don't let it be someone like Lee Evans (ooopsss).
  12. We need both Terrell "Sizzle" Suggs and Elvis "Too Cool" Dumervil healthy by (pauses to look at his watch) September!
  13. We will need to wait for a few months to see if this pans out for the upcoming season. Being out of the training camp might prove to be a lot for Perriman to overcome when he's finally cleared to play. Let's hope that he can get on the field before November.
  14. What we did get was a bundle of dead money against our salary cap. I might have opted to keep him around for the season even if he was a backup just for depth. In the end, we will see how Stanley handles being the starter for the next 4 + years.
  15. I just hope that Stanley is healthy enough to start all season.
  16. Hope Perriman makes you eat your words! Mike hasn't played a down for us yet either in regular season. We all think that Perriman will be good when he finally gets on the field by mid-season, but Wallace is a proven star and arguably our number one receiver with Smith still nursing his injury.
  17. Even a half-step slower is better than the other receivers on the team. Add in his gifted hands and ability to get open, fight for contested balls, and YAC and you have a thousand yard season for Wallace. Welcome to Baltimore!
  18. Just as long as the man isn't in pads for 5 minutes during voluntary OTAs.
  19. If he stays healthy, then I would tend to agree. Sometimes you need to take a chance on a veteran who has been injured a few times.
  20. He wouldn't be the first high player in Ravens history.
  21. That's way too much to waste. Play him until he goes down again.
  22. Monroe needs to be here. We can't find another decent lineman who knows the playbook out of the blue. Meanwhile, he might not be the starter, but having him there to mentor Stanley through his growing pains will be a plus.
  23. Truly, we need to break the curse of drafting disappointing WRs.
  24. I have been praising the Wallace signing. I'm not sure how many of you remember how he torched us when he was with the Steelers. Now envision this, 3rd and long on the Steelers 48 and bombs away to Wallace for the winning TD in OT!
  25. Speed and height were the major reasons that I wanted them, too. As for Smith, he was an amazing receiver at Ohio State and I thought that he could return punts for us. Now I wasn't right, though because Funchess had 473 yards, Green-Beckham had 549 yards, but Smith had 115 yards. The real performer was Lockette, a 3rd rounder, who racked up 664 yards and solidified his role as a returner, too. Meanwhile, Cooper had 1,070 and White had exactly the same number of yards as Perriman--zero.
