  1. I refuse to be scared of a QB if half of the people on this board can't even spell his name.
  2. Agreed - you can just tell he loves being out there and is the clear leader of the defense. I really love what the front office did this year... Could be a bit of selective memory, but it seemed like Trestman used a lot of multiple TE sets, which would have been lethal with Watson and Pitta on the field at the same time. And then of course Wallace showed up big today.
  3. I was at the game too and it really stuck out to me. Did you notice Weddle was the one who got in Harbaugh's ear about challenging the spot on that Forsett run? He's quickly turned into one of my favorite platers.
  4. I think a lot of the communication on defense has to do Weddle. Dude is directing everyone on pretty much every play. Seems like the leader we have been lacking since Ray/Reed. Agree with the previous poster about Jernigan, having him for interior pass rush is huge. Can't wait for Doom to get back. Jimmy Smith was a beast today.
  5. The Bills have a very good defense and probably the best CB tandem in the NFL. Now if the offensive struggles next week, then I think there is something wrong. However I just don't see it happening.
  6. Seems like I am in the minority, but I did not mind the play calling at all today. The Bills have a top 3, if not the best, CB tandem in the league and Graham playing very well for them. Only so much you can do when they are sending blitzes and their corners can cover 1 on 1. Only play that didn't make sense to me was the rollout on 4th and 1- feel like the run wasn't established enough for that to actually work. Seems like Flacco finally has the ability to audible like a normal QB- he was making adjustments on every play it seemed.
  7. From Caddyshack.
  8. Pretty sure he means Noonan.
  9. Which further adds to the view that he just flourished in Kubiak's system. His offense is all about vision and patience, which I'm sure we all can agree is what Forsett is really good at.
  10. Yeah, that's on way of looking at it. Warren Sharp (guy on Twitter who puts out a book every year with tons of advanced stats, metrics, etc) wrote an article on how every team should kickoff this way now. But, the NFL is full of stubborn and conservative coaches who most likely will just kick in the endzone. Also, the Ravens kick coverage was atrocious in the preseason so I'm skeptical they'll even do that in the regular season.
  11. If by this you mean he looks really good taking a knee, then I agree.
  12. Only way I would bring back Forsett is if he signs for a lot less money and is the reserve running back. Front office has been preaching getting younger and faster and cutting Forsett was the quickest way to accomplish that. Better off playing West/Allen as committee for the first 3 weeks and then featuring Dixon.
  13. Dixon was the most talented player on offense, let alone at running back this preseason. Writing was on the wall for Forsett with Dixon getting so many reps with the 1's against the Lions.
  14. I think Sheldon Price is someone to watch out for in the secondary. Long corner that everyone covets in the NFL nowadays and has been good in the practices I've seen (3 of them) and good tonight. Not sure why more people aren't talking about him.
  15. Like many have already said, Stanley and Tunsil are close enough in skill level that you have to take the cleaner prospect every time. Not only off the field, but injury concerns as well. However, I would be pissed if I were a Titans fan after trading up to take Conklin over Tunsil.
  16. The roster is/was not good enough to trade the entire draft for a corner, especially when a left tackle was guaranteed.
  17. Obviously if Ramsey is there, then the Ravens should have Usain Bolt run the pick in. My other two guys are Myles Jack and Treadwell. Jack is the perfect fit for today's NFL. He lined up as an EDGE rusher some plays, linebacker (obviously) some and has the strength to take on and stand up linemen. And he also covered Nelson Agholor and shut him down. I know Treadwell may seem like a bit of a reach, but I think he makes a huge difference on this team.
  18. That's what I've seen. Ive watched a couple of his games recently... Can't remember one catch that he didn't secure with his body (even screens) and, probably because of the body catching, does not high point the ball well. I just think he would be such a waste in the 2nd with the other options that would be available. I'm curious though, what about his game do you like? Or is just purely his speed? Also, what do you think of Germain Ifedi from A&M? He had great measurables at the combine and looked really good against Bama (according to my novice scouting lol). Best case imo move him to LG and resign Osemele. Lastly, I would be thrills if Jones were a Raven. Already a beast against the run and definitely has the potential to be a pass rusher on the inside.
  19. Obviously great in the 40, had a good broad jump. But other than that, he didn't do that well. Nothing more than a fast guy who catches everything with his chest.
  20. Give me Boyd over Fuller and I personally don't think Jackson lasts until the first 2nd round pick, let alone the Dolphins/Bucs pick. He could very well be the 2nd CB off the board.
  21. This. Wrote out a response about Hunter before realizing the guy was talking about Derrick Henry.
  22. Jack/Ramsey and Coleman
  23. 5 years ago (pre Edelman, Brown, and other smaller quick guys) I'd say Alexander by a mile. Don't think VH3 can match up with outside guys.
  24. 1a. Spence 1b.Treadwell IMO these guys make the biggest difference on this team.
