  1. I'm sure our 2nd & 3rd round picks will be beneficial pieces to our defense, but I view them as only complimentary pieces not "instant coffee" bonafide studs. Clearly the board of available players was more than stacked in our favor & we stuck to our usual ways of quantity over quality. when we have the opportunity to draft this high & we end up doing the same thing we do every year??? I didn't want to say it, but this team has been mediocre since Ray Lewis & Ed Reed left. This was supposed to be the draft we turned the page by obtaining high end talent due to our high picks NOT stock piling 4th-6th round picks.

  2. The fact that Ozzie said that we felt okay with taking Jack @ #36 and we end up trading for only a 5th round pick for a project top 5 talent? Truly mediocre is my way of keeping it rated PG for the sake of the forum. I get it if we wanted to trade back, but for only a 5th round when we're at the top of the 2nd round is just poor draft execution.

Please just tell me my man Scooby Wright is still on the board. If he is WE BETTER TAKE HIM in the 4th.

I love this kid and hes going to be a 3 down starter at LB. I think without injury he would be easily a late 1st, early 2nd pick if not higher. Plus his name is SCOOBY. how can you not love that?

He's still available. With all those 4th round picks I'm really hoping we get him since we passed on Jack.

I don't think they gambled on Spence. They wouldn't have traded back a 2nd time if they wanted him. I think he was off our board. Everyone and their mother knew Tampa was taking Spence and we traded a 2nd time right behind them. We wanted dodd and when we missed him we tried to stockpile some ammunition for a trade up later, but we probably couldn't find a partner to trade with.

Lack of execution & precision. Disgusting.

Vonn Bell is still on the board. I'm really rooting for him, though I'm trying not to get too hung up on single players. Still, he'd be a great safety/nickleback for the Ravens.

looks like your Vonn Bell just died due to the saints lol I'm sorry! We have all felt this way tonight in some way.

But isn't that what happens every year? Maybe not trading back as much but nobody and I mean absolutely nobody on this form does as much work on these players as the Ravens do. So what could you honestly be expecting if we don't know as much as them?

I think too often we as fans fall in love with the big names and players we know of, which leads us to be confused or upset when those guys aren't picked.

Because the majority of the time those big name players pan out into great players lol duh. I wouldn't doubt that some passionate fans do their due diligence on possible prospects.
