The Chargers tag Melvin Ingram for 14,5 stars.

I love the third round for WRs this year. Rogers, Godwin, ford, darboh, all guys that don't look like superstars but look like legit NFL starters, especially rogers who I think is gonna make some noise just catching everything thrown his way. Godwin is lethal on deep back shoulder throws, ford is one of the best route runners in the class with solid speed and body control, darboh looks like a steady possession guy with a big body and solid routes and room for improvement.
If we take a wr this year I hope we wait til the third, the value is great
I think Juju is falling to the third as well. He was ranked the 11th WR on Draftwire, which is a pretty good site. Just tells you how much he's falling on boards.
Don't think they will be there in the 3rd but I have a crush on Zay Jones and Carlos Henderson.
Hey, where can we announce Franchise Tags?
The Chargers cut DJ Fluker (8 stars, no dead money).
Net 8 stars.

Hey, never did it and I had 5min to kill, so here's my first:
Jason Verett is also non tradable.

Excellent run defender of epic proportions. Can pursue extremely well, get across the formation on cutbacks, and rarely misses a tackle. He's just phenomenal against the run.
As a pass coverage safety, he's able to cover tight ends with ease, processes combo routes that require pass offs in coverage, and shows good enough range to play in a single high.
He's also an elite leader and has excellent character.
He's just an A+ across the board and he's going to go in the top 10 unless he bombs the combine or shows a lack of desire.
I remember the good ol' times before the season started when I loved his tape and said he was my favourite for our first round... Then 3 months later he's going top5.
The Chargers are open for trade, I have already traded Denzel Perryman, and here are the players that I won't trade:
Philip Rivers
Joey Bosa
Corey Liuget
Casey Hayward
Matt Slauson
Hunter Henry
Jatavis Brown
Melvin Gordon
Looking for help/depth at T and WR.

seems to be the forgotten man of this class and maybe the most underrated. his ball skills are incredible, hes got the athleticism, hes plays quick and fast and decisive, long speed, change of direction.
not sure why he gets no attention around here. id love him at 48.
I think it's because he didn't have a dominant week at the Senior Bowl like we expected. His size being still a problem for some, he has to be absolutely flawless in every other aspect of the game to make up for it and he didn't flash enough to keep the hype going I guess. Still love him at 48 though.
Yeah, I don't know about Robinson, even at G. Doesn't remind you guys too much about Greg Robinson?
I'd rather have Lamp or Feeney, those are much safer picks that bring instant value.
Carlos Henderson is my new draft crush.

Personally, I love Al-Quadin Muhammed.
Hes a defensive end from Miami. He got suspended for punching a Miami student, then got kicked off of Miami for accepting illegal gifts. I watched this kid through highschool and he has immense talent. He is 6'-3" and 250# has the prototype body and athleticism of an NFL edge rusher.
I loved his tape, didn't understand why he wasn't talked about. Now I get it a bit more.

i like the trade down option but the more i think about it the more i think we hold court and pick because we might get a top 10 guy there and i just dont think there are any linemen worth the 16th pick
Yeah, let's be clear, we're not taking an OL with the 16th pick. Period. Either we trade back and consider it a possibility, either we take some later believing we can groom them even without Castillo.
If we're picking an OL in the second, Elflein is my absolute favourite. He's refined, versatile and has it between the ears. Day 1 starter, whatever happens with the other OLinemen.
Trading back is still an option because you can get a top12 player while gaining a 3rd or 4th (picks that Ozzie usually nails), and this class is one of the best in recent memory, so there's really a ton of plausible strategies.

I wouldn't hate it but I'd prefer a big pusher like Dan Feeney who can really open running lanes. I'd also like a trade back if we're going for either of those.

Because a team will have picked him before - John Madden
I wasn't getting on board with the Reddick hype train at first, but after watching his game vsMemphis, waw. This dude is a baller. Him and Correa could be something special.
Give me the Los Angeles Chargers please!

Well he's got a huge catch radius and he's reallu good at getting the 50/50 ball, so he could really be a guy we target, but I'm wary about his ability to get separation at the next level...
Taywan Taylor has some sweeet feet!
Book number 8 for Jacquouille please!

Any interest in joining us? You guys take control of a team (TBD - we'll be "drafting" them) and simulate free agency and the draft. It takes a relatively large time commitment but you all seem pretty active.
Appreciate that you thought of me. Sounds fun, count me in.

I love it. I'd argue that it doesn't provide us with a dominant presence inside for the OL, and it might seem like reaches, but those are picks that will provide instant impact. No reason to complain.
