I have this hunch since this morning (so approximately 15h) that we're gonna end up with Charles Harris. It's usually bad though.
Matt Miller above all else, and I also like Mayock's and Jeremiah's hindsight, although they tend to make some strange picks at times. Brooks is good but at times he tends to put a Captain Obvious cap.
Jaguars select Solomon Thomas.
Tomlin likes him, Campbell is old and Fowler could use less attention on him in order to finally flourish.
On my phone so no pic right now, just figured I'd help move fast.
I love the McKinley and Thompson picks

Oh it wasn't a critic, Charles is my favourite player after SSS. But a lot of players have gotten comparisons to him, while Ronal Jones really looks like him the most. Exact same mimics when running.

Never really saw Pierce since he was cut when I got into football. I'll watch some highlights of his though.

Hes the same exact size as Chubb... and pure muscle. His lower half is huge.
It's just that he usually can go around guys or jump over them to make them miss. But when necessary he lowers the pads, lays the boom and keeps the legs churning.
This kid is going to be GREAT. If he improves his pass protection, he's the best back coming out since AD imo.
He doesn't look as powerful as Chubb, but point taken, I'll see by myself anyway!

Yes yes I know, it was my original message.

I like him better than Chubb. I'd prob take him over Fournette. Power, burst, vision, insanely quick feet, can catch out of the back field.
Hes my dream pick for next year. Being in range to grab him would be a nice consolation if we have a crappy season this year. I think he'll be the top RB for sure.
I need to see more of Barkley but I don't know if he has the power. He is certainly elusive and has that breakaway speed though!
Also Ronald Jones looks too much like Jamaal Charles.

Oh yeah it is, not saying the opposite, just stating I have a draft crush for Chubb and I don't think I've ever had one ahaha
There's not a prospect I'm overly attached to this year, but I would do some crazy things to see Nick Chubb play in Purple and Black.

Basham looks more realistic here and I love the fit with him here.

We did have a private workout with him, so it's not entirely out of the blue.
Give me Mike Williams, Carl Lawson, Desmond King and Pat Elflein and I am going off.
I think we're overthinking Charles Harris. When you have a pass rusher with good physical tools, excellent work ethic, an already wide array of moves and active hands, and the Mizzou label, you deserve to be picked at 16 honestly. Not saying he's my fav prospect for us but in a DPR role he could hit 7+ sacks as a rookie without surprise.
1 hour ago, RavensDieHard21 said:Remember at the beginning of the process you were the conductor on his hype train in the DB thread?🤣
I always had Sid Jones 1 before his injury, now I have no clue who will be the best rookie CB in this class. Daring guess, Kevin King or Gareon Conley ?
Yeah and then Jeremiah put him at 2 in his big board, so everyone kinda went to his tape and came back sold.
Conley all day, he has instincts that I love and feels the game so well. Apart from his poor tackling and a horrible game vs Michigan (he still shows the willingness so he'll improve) he's near flawless. King was my sleeper during the process but he lacks some scheme versatility and some mental processing right now.
Marshon Lattimore. I was the first one here to name him the best CB in the draft, and still think on the field he's elite, but with his harmstring issues I wouldn't want him here, and yes even at pick 16.
McKinley is really growing on me.

Yeah, rumors have the Cowboys very interested in him too... We'll see.

He seems to be getting some love lately and looks like a guy who once in an NFL strength and conditioning program and with some coaching on hand usage could be something...thoughts on him (anyone)? I have seen his draft value all over the place. Really like his motor and size/quickness combo
I think he's exactly the type of profile our FO likes, basically a DE build with strength and explosiveness that can still play from a two-point stance. Also a great character and leader, so that's a big plus. And of course he did very well at the Senior Bowl. Not sure for a 2nd round but if he's there in the 3rd he's a great bargain.
Chargers select:
Delano Hill, S, Michigan

Canty had around 3 sacks in 3 years, Urban had a 2 in one as a rotational player...
Funny, the one I thought about wasn't mentionned once. I will put Brent Urban as my Breakout guy. He was very precious everytime his number was called and now looks to get a huge boost in playing time with TJ and Guy leaving. His presence against the pass is the best in the DL until we see more of Kaufusi (and I still have high hopes for Henry btw).
Expectations: 6 sacks and 6 batted passes and nobody remembers Timmy Jernigan by the end of the season.
I guess this speaks about how high the FA is on this year's draft class.
Your relationship with Jake Butt is pure gold.
With the 6th pick in the 6th round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the LA Charger select:

Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tenessee
