Yup, that was definitely a lot of fun, you guys were great reads all the time.

But id much rather Tim Williams, Carl Lawson, Tyus Bowser or Jordan Willis.
Hehehehe

I believe Williams, Bowser and Humphrey has an excellent chance to be a stud and I went back and watched more tape on Wormley and feel he will fit well as a 5 t in the Ravens system with the ability to move inside in nickel.
i believe all of the 2nd and 3rd rounders will have a significant role in our defense. It wouldn't surprise me if Williams starts this year in Dumervilles spot day 1.
How may days for the season to start....
I think Williams and Wormley are day 1 starters whereas Humphrey and Bowser will probably see the field on packages while they learn to maximize their potential. Williams and Wormley are very pro ready while Humphrey and Bowser are more potential at this point but they both have a very exciting skillset and they should see the field because if they're used according to their skillset they should be impact players. Put Humphrey in zone coverage and he's going to have a Peters like impact on this defense, put Bowser as the coverage backer and you say goodbye to Bell, Eifert, Njoku, Bernard, etc...

Yeah, what I liked was how aware and mature he sounds as a pass rusher, he talks like a vet.
9 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Exactly.
He was completely geeked when they interviewed him after they called his name. Eyes bloodshot and glazed over, words slurred, acting totally geeked up and struggling to string together more than 3 words.
I had no doubts he was gonna be a complete failure
Waw, I didn't know that. Guy has absolutely no clue...
Just now, JoeyFlex5 said:Gregory was high at the draft man. There's no off button for homeboy
What do you mean, that he was on drugs when he was drafted? Sorry not sure I got what you said

He was reallt good though.
Just now, hn68wb4 said:Nope, neither did Guillermo
That would be a good start then...
Has Jon Toth been selected?

Ok, will do thanks! And yeah I know who Oliver is.
In regards to the Randy Gregory comp. Gregory couldn't even restrain himself during the Combine, basically the only time when you have to not smoke, so to fail do so is alarming. Gregory is just a pothead.
Williams failed tests 3 years ago I believe, and since then has two daughters and a girlfriend he hopes to marry. He's a grown man now, it's a big difference.
My goodness his tape is impressive. Feels like he put guys on their backs half of the time. You wanted a mauler? You absolutely got that.

I actually like it a lot. Don't really remember what was Myers' profile but Eluemunor has the tools and worst case we can still try him at tackle.
Don't really get the hate. He wasn't used well in Michigan but absolutely killed it at the Senior Bowl when they put him inside. I think he can be a starter from Day one as a DE for us.
Wait, whaaaaat?????
This draft is insane.
Meh. One trick pony right now, he jas the measurables but I'd much rather get Carl Lawson who will really be a game changer.
37 minutes ago, Sami84 said:actually, he jams as well as anyone..
His jam is very inconsistent, he doesn't always reroute the receiver the wqy you'd want it or disturb the release. When he places his hands well, his jam is very very good, but he needs more consistency here.
1 hour ago, Sami84 said:WEAKNESSES
Impatient from press coverage. Opens inside or outside too early rather than waiting for a clear declare from receiver. Struggles to stay in phase throughout the route and allows separation opportunities. Feet are fast but sloppy. Footwork becomes bulky and balance diminishes when matched against quality route workers. Plays a scrambling style of coverage that is too reliant upon his athletic gifts. Issues playing the deep ball are a concern. From off coverage, overreacts to route fakes and opens the door to a big play. Allowed more than 19 yards per completion as a starter. Can be slow to locate the ball and finds himself out of optimal position to play the ball.

"There are some things on tape that really worry you. If he has trouble playing the long ball it is going to be bombs away against him and his team might have to change how they cover because of that. Those issues usually don't go away." -- Scouting director for AFC team
NFL COMPARISON
Jimmy Smith
BOTTOM LINE
Talented height-weight-speed prospect who comes from NFL bloodlines. Might need time for his technique to catch up with his traits. Coverage inconsistencies could cause him to struggle against quality competition early on, but his mental makeup and recovery talent should help him pull through. Has the instincts and run-support skills to become an early starter for a zone-cover defense, but it will be hard for teams looking for a lockdown, man corner to pass on all of those physical gifts early in the draft.
Basically, expect him to be giving up big plays unless we play him in a more limited or specialized role with saftey help.
No, as a rookie and until he gets better with his jam, he can play right now as an elite zone corner.
I already said I don't see a number one in him but that can change and right now he's bringing an element of speed, instincts and intimidation to our secondary.
5 hours ago, K-Dog said:Sounds like his weaknesses are very coachable.
His weakness are basically what Jimmy corrected last offseason, with the «tennis ball drill».
Last year I laughed because ATL selected Neal. In the end it's all about fit and how a player can boost your team.
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:I thought Stanley would be great, but was meh because it wasn't Ramsey or Elliot.
For this pick, I am beyond ecstatic.
I just hope we give Humphrey the "tennis ball" drill to teach him to turn his head, or leave him into a zone. If we do that he's gonna kill some people.
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:I think OJ came down to too many cooks in the kitchen and Foster must be too much of an off the field risk.
Yeah for sure. Ain't mad though, I was beyond mad with Stanley so I've learned to shut it down and trust the pros.
Just now, hn68wb4 said:Foster has too many issues to count and OJ just isn't needed.
Yeah I get that, but Ozzie typically goes BPA, forgetting needs (plus CB wasn't that big of a need). Welp, I guess I'll never predict that guy...

I don't think one second we're taking one in the first. That said, McSorley looks like a really solid prospect, or we could developp Rudolph: big guy, big arm, so there's that Flacco comp.
