  1. Ragland at 6 is definitely a reach. I wouldn't mind having him after trading back though, he is undoubtedly an impact player, especially if he can play OLB
  2. Yeah, based on how everyone has been souring on him (and not just here), Calhoun might be a 3rd round steal. I'll have to rewatch his tape but I'm glad someone finally brought him back in the discussion, I think we buried him a bit too early.
  3. Oh right, I forgot to thank you all for your greeting, it's really nice of you all! I'd agree with everything you said, with some nuances. Tread will make the most impact from Day One, I agree. He's certainly the one we benefit the most taking. Also I don't want Stanley because LT in the first almost always end up to be busts. And Buckner will be a 3 down dominant player, which would stop the developpment of Davis and Urban, meaning a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick go to waste, while our coaches could raise them into very good players.
  4. To me, Elam is a SS, nothing else. Brooks should be the starting FS as of right now. The critics are basically true, and this mock is just one among many others that I've imagined, so I don't mind changing until I find one that satisfies me 1) Tunsil 2) Goff 3) Bosa 4) Ramsey 5) Hargreaves Do I need to explain this part? Unless Buckner if you consider him to be a DE, there will be no DE/OLB worth a 6th, barring Bosa doesn't screw in the combine like Sizz did. And based on recent history, Ozzie will have to go over my humiliated body to draft a LT in the 1st.
  5. My opinion basically in all honesty, I don't understand how not to appreciate the MSU game. It was asolute dominance over a 1st round talent.
  6. My thoughts also, having 3 guys upfront who need to be double teamed on every snap is a nightmare for any OC. You bring Doom, ZDS and Sizzle, that's as dominant as it gets. Apparently you and I saw the MSU game very differently. I saw him abusing Conklin (1st round talent, btw) on every play where he was single teamed (don't know if the word exists), and occasionally made some damages when double teamed. Being taken out of a play when you are double teamed or triple teamed is actually a good thing imo, and that's what happened in this game. A guy like Mosley would love to have Buckner in the team.
  7. For those wondering about the "Webb being cut" part, I suggest you read this, it may not turn out to be true, but atm we badly need salary cap: http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2016/1/27/10846628/former-raven-brad-jackson-on-lardarius-webbs-shift-to-safety But somehow, as long as Lewis is not the starter next year I guess it's Ok, hopefully Brooks stays healthy and gets out of the doghouse The idea with this mock was to be realistic, being french and pessimist and all... I'll certainly do a 2.0 version during the week, based on your remarks.
  8. Spence at 21st doesn't seem unrealistic. With a small bit of luck, it's possible. Jalen won't last until 45, however. At this spot, you can take Wright III (who, btw, won't be there in the 4th). Not sure about the other 4/5th picks. Clark was awful at the Senior Bowl, Joe Dahl would be better I think. I didn't know Chris Jones, but we have enough DT, I'd prefer an OLB or Cyrus Jones for example. And please, not Oakman, he's just physical attributes and media hype, is lazy and got embarassed at the Senior Bowl. Anyway, having Tread, Spence and Fuller seem realistic and if it happens, only those three make it a killer draft.
  9. According to Brian Bosworth. Shepard is widely seen as a 3rd rounder, maybe end of 2nd with his strong showing in the Senior Bowl, but having him with our picks isn't unrealistic. I'm beginning to prefer the idea of trading back. There is just not one of the "blue chips" that I really want with a 6th pick. A trade back in the teens and then Noah Spence would be my perfect scenario.
  10. Ramsey, Spence and Shepard would make me drool, although I don't believe Spence will last until the 2nd
  11. In this situation, I would take Ramsey over Tread. I like Fuller in the second, but I don't think Yannick will last until the 3rd. Would be great though. Overall I really like it, except for Striker, I just don't see him translate to the next level. There will be other interesting ILB in the 4th that I would take before him.
  12. The reach part is very true, I just felt that Treadwell and Thompson are just what we need in both offense and defense, and I don't see us getting them one round later. Thompson has been mocked as a first rounder in some mocks, and as I said, I think Tread is the one who brings us the most in the 1st round. Plus, Thompson raised his stock in the Senior Bowl. Both, to me, are safe picks with immediate impact. Btw I assume Ramsey will be gone by then, but if he is there, to me it's a no-brainer. In that case, Boyd or Scooby Wright III in the second are my guys, maybe Spence but imo he won't last until the second. Also now that I think about it, Schobert in the beginning of the 3rd is definitely a reach. Let's put him in the early 4th and take an OT in the 3rd instead
