  1. I'll dare to say Kevin Dodd's tape was among the best I've seen from any rusher this year. All he does is disrupt, and you can tell he affects the game on almost every play. High motor, high IQ, very quick and explosive and good bend and technique.
  2. I'm seeing Tread sliding to the twenties, if we could trade back up before Minesota and steal him, damn would I be happy.
  3. Most definitely. He didn't have a stellar combine and I have never seen him in the 2nd before the combine. Haven't seen much of his game so that's all I can say but he's not going in the second, that I can tell.
  4. Jackson was a 2nd rounder way before the combine. He flew under the media's radar because of his university, but trust me he was going to the second anyway.
  5. I think SD will take Buckner and Bosa is the most likely (among Ramsey, Jack and him) to slide to us after that. Won't complain but I'm not that big a fan of his.
  6. I've seen Adolphus Washington mocked to us in the 3rd so I would say if you need to replace Canty, it's the perfect year for it actually.
  7. I'm convinced we NEED to trade back up in the 20s. There will without a doubt be a faller there that could change our team. I don't care if we loose picks, we have a deep roster, we need game changers now.
  8. The Jack/Jackson combo is becoming redundant but I won't complain, I've been on this wagon for quite some time now. Unfortunately Jackson III in the 2nd seems impossible now. Also where are the pass rushers man? Wouldn't have hurt to take a Schobert, Kaufusi or Fackrell in the 4th.
  9. So I know it's not really finished as of yet, but I've seen what I needed to see. And based on the players that rose up my "board" during the combine, I thought I'd do another Mock, cuz it's a fun. BTW, when I do a mock, I'm not implying that it is the best case scenario, I'm just proposing other options that haven't been explored yet. Let's go: 1st Round: Trade back with Miami or TB after Bosa falls to us: Shaq Lawson Credit to RaineV1 for the idea. Like some others on this forum, his outing in the Combine made me want to discover him in depth and I haven't been disappointed. He has a high motor, a great passion, is the best edge setter I've seen in this class, but also a great pass rusher. He's a fluid athlete with great power and can turn the corner (though that's not his forte if you ask me) and last but not least, his spin move is a thing of beauty, you have to see it, he abused Ronnie Stanley with it. 2nd Round (1): Will Fuller Another player who opened my eyes at the Combine. So people will ask why I would take a burner when we have Perriman? Well, D-Jax and Maclin were fine together, so it can't hurt to have two playmakers. And Fuller is really an electric player, able to turn a slant into a 40 yard gain. He really reminds me of Jeremy Maclin, with a mix of short routes/ screen passes and some long go routes. Mac's hands were also questionned when he was coming out of college and now they're graded as the best in the NFL (per PFF). 2nd Round (2): William Jackson III He is becoming redundant in my mocks. I love the guy, his agressiveness, his ball skills, his physical attributes. Will be a solid starter opposite Jimmy, which will make for a tremendous duo for years to come. 3rd Round: Chris Jones Love it or hate it, I just think his ceiling is the highest in the draft and he can reach it with CB and Cullen. His quickness off the snap is uncanny, he just needs some coaching and a few years from now we will look at him as one of the best at his position, I am sure of that. 4th Round: Joe Schobert How do you not love this guy? He's fast, agressive, high motored, very smart... He will be a fan favourite here and Dummervil will be the best teacher he can ask for. Him and Lawson will be very nice additions to our defense. 4th Round (2): Joe Dahl He will give us some nice depth at either T or G, not much else I can say. 4th Round (3): Tyler Matakevich Big fan here. I love guys like him that give so much passion to the game. He's got an insane and contagious agressivty, works and studies harder than everyone else, he's often compared to Chris Borland, guys with low measurables and athletic abilities but that are smart, instinctive and agressive.
  10. Saw that too, and I usually don't trust PFF but that scenario doesn't seem that crazy.
  11. I wouldn't trust him on contested catches, that's for sure, but I think his hands aren't horrible. I like the way he uses his speed, the way he locates the Ball and adjusts to it, his quick twitch that alows him to do some damages on short passes. Also I believe Doctson will be long gone at this point. About Ifedi, well I don't watch the OL, I'm unable to judge, I'll let other decide.
  12. It's hard to say no to a front 3 where all 3 players have to be double teamed.
  13. As idiot as I may sound, I can't tell on tape, to me all the players are basically exploding at the same time. The only one that I could really tell was before the others was Chris Jones. Having never even played one snap of footballor watch it live, I guess that's my limit as a newbie.
  14. Is that really what you have seen or has Jacoby Jones altered your judgement on deep threats?
  15. Have you seen his combine?
  16. I can see Ozzie nail the draft like the Vikes did two years ago with Barr/Teddy. I'll say it again, if we can get Jack and Floyd this way, our defense is not the same.
  17. That's not wrong, but I think his ability to get a big gain from a slant or a screen is very underrated.
  18. Doubt Coleman will be there when we pick. I still like Fuller though
  19. I was indeed talking about a trade up. He should be there in the 20s, especially if NYJ pass on him. With our second and 4th, maybe a 5th next year that should do it right? But damn, as you said, Floyd and Jack side by side with Mosley in the middle, that's freaking unstoppable.
  20. I read PFF's scouting report on him yesterday, they were saying his first step is slow, which is something I know worries you. They also doubt his pass rushing skills, but I can't agree on that. Watched the Joey Bosa Oregon 2014 game. I'm wondering why people say he won't fit at OLB, his main problem to me is he's slow off the snap and lacks explosiveness. With two or three steps to accelerate he would make a much better use of his terrific hands and could be unstoppable. Just my opinion though.
  21. Jack+Floyd, oooh that's nasty!
  22. Wasn't aimed at you
  23. Are you really arguing about who owns the bandwagon? Is this the Seahawks forum?
  24. One of the scenarios I don't want to see is picking Su'a Cravens in the 2nd. I feel the bust.
  25. I've been the first after you! lmao
