  1. I would swap Chris Matthews and Jeremy Butler, but Okay otherwise. I don't really know what to expect from Wallace. With Bisciotti wanting the pass rush to make a leap, I wouldn't be surprised if we double dipped on it, with Buckner/OLB combo with Spence, Calhoun, potentially Dodd and Floyd in the 2nd. Buckner really makes everyone around him better, and as you said, WR and S not being needs anymore, we can load up on some positions.
  2. http://draftbreakdown.com/video/deforest-buckner-vs-washington-2015/ A few awareness mistakes, but you can see how disruptive he can be at times, esp when lined up on the edge. He isn't the game changer that Myles Jack is, but if you put that alongside BW and Timmy, that's gonna be a nightmare for any pocket passer.
  3. There are several points on which I disagree. 1st: our 3rd pick is closer to our usual second than our usual 3rd. I do see your point however. 2nd: As stated above, a 3rd and even a 4th (because we can only trade one of our 4th) won't be enough. Maybe by adding next year's 3rd and a late pick. 3rd: With Weddle now a Raven, you would take Ramsey before Bosa or Jack?
  4. I'm also hoping for Buckner + a speed rusher, may it be Spence, Ngakoue, Schobert, Nicholas or Calhoun.
  5. No denying that, but I don't see the Big play ability that Higgins has, and that we lacked this year.
  6. So, there really are people that are unhappy with Eric Weddle at that price? He's precisely the guy we need to turn our whole secondary around. Just sit back and watch. My Chargers friends told me he's all but done, he was just being mistreated by SD's FO.
  7. To be honest, and I don't really know how to explain, I don't view Shepard and Boyd as playmakers. I just don't see them as the reliable ace that Higgins was for Colorado State. Higgins seems more special, to put it simply. He's the whole package: tall, fast, smooth, good route runner (though he didn't face good CB to prevent that), reliable hands... He's kinda like what Marvin Jones or Mohamed Sanu were in Cincinatti, with a higher ceiling, especially in the red zone.
  8. Completely caught by the Rashard Higgins bandwagon. Only thing that worries me is the weak competition he faced (then again, didn't bother Crockett), but boy can he play.
  9. Possible. The fact that no GM or coach went to his pro day is serious. But I think a team in the back end of the first would be willing to take him, so a trade up would be wiser if you want him.
  10. That's realistic. By no means a flash draft, and some will regret the lack of instant playmakers, but it's solid. Overall if we end up with all those quality players, it's hard to complain.
  11. Well, with Malik Jackson to Jax, they won't take Buckner, but rather Jack. In other words, we will certainly have to choose between Buckner and VH3
  12. Coleman and Ifedi won't be there imo, but your opinion makes sense.
  13. You think VH3 can turn our defense around? I think I'd prefer Lawson over him. I'd be content to pass on Buck if we land Washington later. But really, Buckner, Jernigan and Williams would be a non stop chaos and a pocket anihilator.
  14. Still, if he's available in the 3rd he's worth the reflexion. What you're talking about can be tought and his talent is just huge.
  15. I don't know if this is a "myth", but I would love it if analysts stopped listing Jaylon Smith and Scooby Wright as 3-4 OLBs and randomly mocking them to us as our next pas rushers, just because they blitzed well and played 4 snaps on the edge on 3rd downs.
  16. With Williams and Jernigan, our OLBs and maybe CJ blitzing from times to times that would create lots of 1v1 opportunities
  17. Oh, I'm interested in what you just said. The "nerve" thing seemed to make the media think he won't be able to ever play football, so can you explain me how bad it is and what can be reallistically expected for him? Because my medical knowledge is very raw.
  18. Yeah, so our 2nd round should be dedicated to drafting a faller OT. Between Coleman, Decker, Conklin, Spriggs or maybe Ifedi (call that a reach Flex, but he's been mocked a couple times to the Broncos), we should have some good boys.
  19. How about trading up in the 20s to get him if the Jets don't?
  20. Of course it will help him. Watson has proven to be: 1)a very good and durable TE, who knows everything about the position. 2) a very good man off the field 3)a leader. He is the perfect guy to help Maxx and Crockett reach their ceiling. He will not play as the starter but as a part of the rotation and help forget about Boyle. The Osemele stuff apart, our offseason is looking great so far.
  21. Yeah, you're probably right. I wouldn't be happy about the mock I just posted, I just hope we can get some consistency at T
  22. So how would you feel about this one?: 1)Buckner 2)TRADE with Washington: Spriggs (our 2nd, 4th and 6th and a 4th in 2017) 3)Brothers 4)Higgins 4)Schobert
  23. PFF's mock, although not gonna happen.
  24. The problem, imo, is there is no "Day 1 starter" at LT in this class, Tunsil excepted. My favourite option would be a trade back up in the 1st to grab Spriggs or Decker.
  25. That would work if Monroe can stay on the field. The IF is a big one.
