  1. Ozzie knows his job. Barnett is a very good player and a great fit here, but let's draw a line between getting a great guy and overdrafting. By my count there's 90% chances that either one of Wilson or Lattimore will be there at 16, which would be a better case than trading up for Barnett. Even if Barnett is there at 16 I'd still consider the CBs. I was one of the first to advocate for Barnett when his 2016 tape started coming out, but I think people tend to «overlike» him because he fits that «next Sizzle» etiquette.
  2. Had the exact same reaction lmao!
  3. Jordan Willis is a name to follow. He's every bit as good as Harold Landry.
  4. Engram is also a personnal favorite, I also noted Dorian Johnson was there for the taking. I mean, it's a full mock draft so it's not like it's biased or ideal, it's a scenario that a non ravens fan (whose evalutations on players are usually very legit) imagined so it's pretty realistic. And I don't see Harris killing the combine, he's an explosive guy with plenty of athleticism to work with but far from a physical freak, and I don't see him do very well in the position drills.
  5. http://draftwire.usatoday.com/2017/01/16/2017-nfl-mock-draft-latest-3-round-projections-2/ Probably the best scenario I've seen in a mock draft. 3rd pick could be better though, even if I like the player.
  6. You could do a lot worse.
  7. That's how I would think of him as well. Reminds me of Allen Hurns quite a bit.
  8. That's unfair because Anderson was plain dominant this season and his stats were on par with Tim's, which pretty much shows how underrated he is or was.
  9. If we pick Humphrey I'm out. He's stiff as a board and can't turn his head. Even in the second I'm not taking him.
  10. Best press corner in the last 3 years probably, fluid and fast, scheme diverse, good enough ball skills and great read and react. He also has something that I love to see in a CB: he's patient, doesn't panic, just lets the Wr do his thing and only commits once the Wr is done faking. Jones has fluid hips but I watched him this afternoon and he looks slow, and Juju completely exposed his lack of strength.
  11. I wish to differ. I'd put Dorian Johnson here, he's the fastest puller I've seen this year.
  12. Apparently it's a Mike Zimmer thing. Trae Waynes had a similar treatment, and Alexander is experiencing that too.
  13. Good that you say that, I was looking for a way to say that too. I've been convinced that we need to go pass rusher in round 1 for monthes now because afterwards the depth is weak, but looking at where we stand I just don't see enough value if Williams and Barnett are gone. I would be ok with Charles Harris but when you compare him to the CBs that will be available, I'd go CB and I think Ozzie will too.
  14. 1) Quincy Wilson 2) Marshon Lattimore 3) Sidney Jones 4) Teez Tabor (I admit I haven't watched tape of him but from what I read he should be around here) 5) Gareon Conley 6) Cordrea Tankersley 7) Jourdan Lewis 9) Desmond King 10) Chidobe Awuzie
  15. I was always high on Anderson and had a late first round grade on him. I love his attitude and how light he looks on his feet. His get off isn't the most explosive but among the fastest in the class and his twitch, strength and violent hands make up for a guy that deserves to be taken high. Trade back target for sure.
  16. No, they typically don't let their rookies play a lot. Vikings fans don't seem worried.
  17. I was more comparing hype, they're really not the same player. I have personnally always had a late first round grade on him.
  18. Is Ryan Anderson this year's Kevin Dodd?
  19. If I don't have any other choice than the two of them, Dalvin Cook with no hesitation.
  20. So many risks in one sentence.
  21. I don't see Ford in the slot, he's the prototypical outside WR imo. I love his skill set though, would absolutely jump on him if he's there in the 3rd.
  22. Allen and Garett belong in the same range, Allen is going top5 if not top3. And the gap between those, two and Barnett is basically that Barnett isn't the physical freak those two are. Right now he's seen as a top10 pick but that might change after the combine.
  23. Not all teams are built around one or two guys, Arizona last year didn't have a game wrecker like Mack or Miller, they just had a very consistent offense and a creative defense that thrived on turnovers. Now, say we trade back in the first and maybe trade back up in the second, and we walk away with Charles Harris, Tre'davious White and Ethan Pocic, we have a dangerous roster. We have a mauling OL for our run game and an explosive and fast defense. We are 8-8 not because we are a bad team, but because we're in a transition. The only players that were here during the SB were Flacco and Yanda, so of course we need to start from scratch and Oz has done that very well since 2014 and given us plenty of talent to work with. Now it's just enjoying a draft class that is taylor made for our needs and finishing the rebuild we've had since Ray and Ed left.
  24. Eric Berry was top5 iirc and Adams is often compared to him.
  25. That being said, if Quincy Wilson falls out of the top10 I wouldn't mind trading a 3rd round pick to get him. I'm not against a little trade up to get a guy who's falling near our pick and that we absolutely want.
