  1. I was very disappointed with his usf tape (only one I've watched so far). He takes horrible angles and is very suspect in jos tackles. Gets beaten over the top at times, placement is just bad. I didn't even see that much speed, which he is known for.
  2. No, okay, I didn't mean to say anything about you, but I don't see how this isn't DV. He punched a woman in the face, period. It's basically Rice, except the girl wasn't his gf, which doesn't change anything. He's a heck of a talent but we just won't be the one to touch him.
  3. So, because it didn't happen in a house or with his wife, it's OK to straight up destroy a woman's face and call it «troubled past»?
  4. I think Reeves-Maybin is staying to school. Duke Riley looks like that type of player.
  5. I agree he's raw but he has good physical tools and work ethic to improve. My biggest question mark on him is his hands usage, but for a second rounder this is good value and make no mistake, he's still a guy that will win one on ones in the NFL. I get what you're saying but we like to convert «stockier» DE into OLB that we can move around. Our ED guys aren't typically lengthy and Smoot fits the bill on a physical stand point.
  6. Dream scenario
  7. KD Cannon doesn't get any love but he's as explosive as John Ross. Derek Rivers is a small school guy but such a natural pass rusher it's uncanny. Not sure he declared but Quin Blanding can become, special.
  8. Not sure about Joe always asking his TE to make difficult catches. For most of the year he checked it down countless times to Pitta. Howard can turn those check downs into first downs. And as said above, he's a nightmare in the seam.
  9. I'm not saying he's bad, I wouldn't mind taking him at 16, but I don't know, I just don't have fun watching Davis' tape.
  10. Wut? Howard is easily one of the most complete players in the draft, he's a top10 talent and is great value at 16.
  11. I've been saying that the 2018 RB class is going to be amazing as well. Is Barkley better than Cook? I don't know, we'll see, but you add Ronald Jones, Nick Chubb, Royce Freeman, Derrius Guyce, Myles Gaskin, Akrum Wadley... A lot of players that I love.
  12. Don't see that. He's not the most "boomish" guy with his first step, that is true, but it doesn't mean he isn't a good athlete. He has good length, elite hand placement, quick hand movement to slap back OT's hands, shows very solid bend and speed arond the corner. If what you mean is that he isn't Tim Williams then yes, he isn't. But Bosa gets 10.5 sacks in a short season, and I don't see a better athlete than Watt when watching Bosa. That is to say I truly see a double digit sacks guy in Watt, not just a starter.
  13. Tbh I would take him with our 3rd round comp pick.
  14. What makes you guys think Watt's ceiling is low? He's been playing the position for only two years, I'd say he has one of the highest ceilings of all.
  15. I don't think we can get gim after a trade back. Honestly I'd be ready to take him at 16, I truly think he would be a hell ofof an addition to our offensesnaps.
  16. Currently watching the Senior Bowl, very impressed by Jon Toth, C, Kentucky. Both strong and quick to get to the second level, smart in his placement.
  17. Yeah, kind of the same reaction. Never watched Robinson, but I'll never hate on an OL pick, and from what I read he could be an All Pro RT or G if that's what we want him to be.
  18. Jabrill Peppers, of course.
  19. Potentially a 3rd on Juju of Ford (if they fall) would make some sense, otherwise I wouldn't hate it but def wouldn't like it either.
  20. What's true for us is ten times as true for the Jets in this case.
  21. Drafting based on the fit in a 4-3 or 3-4 is a very bad idea. We play maybe 5% of our snaps in that formation and still, our ED play as much with their hands in the dirt as they do in a 2point stance.
  22. Not going to answer that poll. I change my mind every week...
  23. I saw Dan Feeney played a little bit of C at the Senior Bowl and showed good results, so I'd be all in for a trade back to get him as a C.
  24. Yeah, we also talked to him during the week. He can also be a returner. I think he's heavily on Ozzie's radar. 4th round seems to be where you'd want to target him given the mesurables and the heavy workload he's faced.
  25. I don't really think you can take injury as a big factor. It's all luck really: Mosley had a decent amount of nagging injuries when he declared and has missed 4 games in 3 years now, while Perriman didn't have any and now has two knee injuries in two seasons. All I'm saying is the injury risk is there for any player.
