  1. which is why half of us wanted him gone. Elam had the same problem since his rookie year and has been playing catch up ever since. I blame Brooks' and Elam's lack of development partially on Pees. Its the only reason I don't want Ramsey, with his versatility Pees will have him playing 3 separate positions poorly rather than letting him get comfortable with one. Just like Cam Cameron, Pees is singlehandedly holding this team back
  2. Welp. Hate to see this. Why you gotta be this way, Will
  3. Still waiting on Daryl Smith to come back on a lesser deal too, since cutting him didn't make any sense unless we draft an ILB. Two great moves sandwiched between two that leave me scratching my head
  4. I said it right after the Weddle signing, I don't get how all these safeties fit on our team. Hopefully this means they have faith in Webb or Brooks, but I don't see how this makes our team better
  5. As long as he can still play, I don't have a problem. What I don't get it where this puts Webb, Elam, and Brooks. Not bashing Ozzie, I just don't understand how we fit all these safeties somewhere. Even if Webb splits nickle with someone, that leaves a 1st round pick and a 3rd round pick the odd men out which makes for a very disappointing use of high draft picks. Maybe Elam gets traded and Brooks becomes the guy after Weddle starts to decline? Someone make sense of this for me please
  6. So now where do Webb, Elam, and Brooks fit in? I don't get it
  7. We should take Hargreaves and watch the turnovers pile up Instead our two young ILBs will watch the secondary get torched Hope Daryl Smith getting cut only means they have faith in Orr
  8. Looks like Myles Jack will be joining CJ Mosley to watch the secondary get burned all year...
  9. "PFF Says Ravens Should Target RGIII" Bahahahahahah oh wow
  10. Osemele wasn't a LT until later this season and it looks like hes going to get LT money and most likely be used as an LT from here on out (wherever he plays). The point is Ozzie can find a good LT in the 2nd or even in the early 10s if we trade back. #6 is too high not to use on a skill position considering the state of our secondary fam
  11. OT is not as dire a need as people think it is at least not in the first round. Ozzie has had recent success finding good additions to the O line in later rounds: John Urschel - 5th round 2014 Rick Wagner - 5th round 2013 Ryan Jensen - 6th round 2013 Osemele wasn't even a 1st round pick and is shaping up to be one of the best in the league, the only recent blemish of Ozzie's I can find in regard to O line players is Gino Gradkowski in the 4th round of 2012, since then every single O line player we've drafted has been solid or better. You could even argue Monroe's last two seasons have been anomalies considering before those years he had only missed one game a season. That being said, Ozzie hasn't had the most stellar record with skill position players in late OR early rounds recently, SPECIFICALLY the secondary: Terrence Brooks (S) - 3rd round 2014 Marc Anthony (S) - 7th round 2013 Matt Elam (S) - 1st round 2013 Christian Thompson (S) - 4th round 2012 Asa Jackson (CB) - 5th round 2012 An OT as early as #6 would be a waste. If we're taking an OT I'd rather trade back to the early 10s and get more value out of it, but I find it hard to argue against going with Hargreaves or Ramsey at #6. Make a good pick, not just a safe pick
  12. "Depending on the salary cap, that's what will determine when we get to the fourth year, what they're going to have to do, we really viewed this as sort of a three-year deal to make sure the first three years Joe was paid accordingly with the top guys in the league." - Joe Linta, March 5th, 2013 Why am I not surprised Linta was full of it?
  13. If they do go with a DB I'd prefer Hargreaves, he definitely can help our lack of turnovers. Hes a smart guy with good instinct, always seems to be around the ball, great range, and great hands. With Jimmy returning to form and Hargreaves on the other side, it almost wouldn't matter who we put out there with Will Hill. I just don't see Ramsey helping with our lack of turnovers like Hargreaves could
  14. Its the common saying about the game being won in the trenches. Denver bulldozed O Lines those last two games. Make QBs uncomfortable, give them no time to throw, they make mistakes. Plain and simple
  15. Changing my pick to Hargreaves
  16. Personally I would love to get Treadwell at #6. Is there any chance Noah Spence falls to the second round due to his history with PEDs? He hasn't tested dirty in a long while and the guy is a beast
  17. Hello, I was wondering if someone could direct me to the forum rules? I just signed up today and seem unable to reply to threads in Ravens Talk or the Draft forums, is there a waiting policy for new members?
  18. Still no reply box on Ravens Talk or the Draft forum, although it doesn't seem to affect everyone as there are new posts. I was able to post it in the bug list thread. Thanks for the help
  19. There is no reply box at the bottom of some forums, Ravens Talk and the 2016 Draft forum specifically, but it is there on others. There is also no option to quote other posts. This doesn't appear to be a problem for all members, but I'm not entirely sure.
  20. Alright then, thanks for letting me know. Is this upgrade causing an error for others posting as well, or am I just missing something? I see I have the option to quote and reply in this thread, but it doesn't appear to be there on other boards...
