  1. I completely agree with you about Buckner when I first heard about him I expected to go and see him destroying offensive linemen.  But he does get stuffed at the line more than people like to admit.  That comes from him not being able to get leverage inside.  He can get stoodup at the line and does not have the strength to rush all the time.  But I think he is very coachable and would still be a great pick at 6.  Just his pressure is not as great as we make it seem.

So am I the only one who thought jaylon was overrated? He's more of highlights guy than a tape guy for me. He looks scared to engage imo. He gets caught way too often circling around traffic and letting guys get upfield on him. That's a db style of pursuit, not something I want from my ILB. Jack may not be the best in Traffic but he definitely shows the willingness and he wins a fair amount of those head up battles with blockers.

I totally agree wth you I was never a huge fan of smith at ILB other than an above average cover man.  I would always much rather have Jack because he just goes out and plays every snap.

  3. Bosa is just one of those players this year where it is hard to determine exactly what he will do at the next level.  because he has flashes of dominance and then there are some plays where he just seems not to care or try.  Now that may be one of those players that tries not to play as hard so that he doesn't get himself hurt.   Despite all that I still believe he will be an impact player and can be a guy that puts up multiple sacks and can be a player who moves all around the DL.  Plus at the combine I enjoyed watching Bosa and believe he has done enough to prove he could be OLB in a 3-4 system.

  4. I like the draft.  I agree with the idea though that it is very unlikely that Jackson would be there anymore.  With him proving he has the speed he becomes almost becomes a late first round lock.  But other than that I love the draft.  The only thing i cant picture is drafting both haeg and dahl.  Just dont se how it fits.

  5. Before the combine I did not believe Lawson could actually stand up and rush but I believe in it now. But the unfortunate thing I see is that I think after the combine Jackson may have snuck into first round.  Even though I would be ecstatic to have Jackson.

In my case I didn't want to hear about an ILB in the first round, but you did push me to watch some of his tape, and I needed 30s to admit I was so wrong.

I was the exact same way.  It took me about 30s to say I was completely wrong.

Love it. Simply love it, maybe what I would have come up with if I had to make a mock right now. Didn't get to watch Cooper, will have to now, I had Shepard as a good 3rd rounder, but it may be too optimistic.

I like Shepard a lot but I have a feeling he slips into 2nd to a team such as Kansas city in need of WR but guys like Coleman, Doctson and Boyd all gone.

My thought about the pass rusher was that we could also use Jack as a pass rusher if we were able to get Scooby Wright.

In my opinion you are more likely to see scooby as a pass rusher because of Jacks ability to cover.  But that will not be good enough for how bad our pass rush was a year ago.

  9. 1. Titans - Tunsil

    2. Cleveland - Jared Goff

    3. San Diego - DeForest Buckner

    4. Dallas - Jalen Ramsey

    5. Jacksonville -  Joey Bosa

    6. Baltimore - Myles Jack - Versatile, versatile, versatile.  John Harbaugh will have fun with this guy.  Jack can lineup anywhere you tell him to and be productive, and make plays.  He is probably the best coverage linebacker I have seen coming out of college.  Plus he has amazing speed and strength to be effective in the run game or even rush the passer if you told him to.

2nd - William Jackson III - Has the ball skills and instincts that the Ravens need in the secondary.  Also has great closing speed that puts him into position to make interceptions and break up passes.

3rd - Pharoh Cooper - Not many people are talking about him but he helps bring the play making ability that the offense is missing.  He can make the tough catch in traffic and has the quickness to get open.

4th -  Chris Jones - Can stop the run, rush the quarterback. Still has plenty of potential too.  Was once considered a top prospect but unfortunately he plays lazy and stiff causing him to drop here.

4th - Joe Schobert - Not the best athlete and has been moved all over field.  But the one thing he does not lack is effort and heart.  Has speed and determination which is what the Ravens can never get enough of.

4th (comp) - Joe Dahl - Dahl may go earlier or he may not but Dahl is another successful college LT who could really take advantage of being moved inside into guard.

4th (comp) - Cyrus Jones - The hometown guy and the special teams ace the Ravens have missed last year.  He is not terrible at corner but cannot be left on the outside to cover due to his height.

I just don't see what will make teams feel like they need to draft Jones. He may never be more than a special teams guy, he was quite the liability in coverage in All his years at Alabama, expecting anything more than a ST ave would be extremely wishful thinking

Personally watching his tape Jones is not that much of a liability.  His problem is the limited size.  But he has the speed and quickness to keep up with most widerecievers.

  11. not bad tier 1, 2 and 3.  But some of the prospects in your tier 4 are too low such as Conklin and Nkemdiche.  He has off field problems but will still go in the first round.  But I am not sure how you view him that is just the vibe I get from all the rumors and game footage.
