What is the point when he is dominating the guy during play. No cheap shot is going to even the score!! He already won. It is like when you date a pretty girl and some dude that likes her or a guy she dumped attempts to do childish things to get at you. Why retaliate, you won
Lawson did get the better of Stanley even though Stanley did play better in the fourth quarter. Stanley does have good potential especially if he would spend more time in the weight room. His reported lack of work ethic will make it hard for Stanley to live up to his potential.

UH OH...
That is smart posturing by Ozzie by showing the 6th pick has big value to us if Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Jack and Buckner are taken prior to our first pick.
This is a solid mock draft imo. I would prefer a defensive player with our second pick. If we do go with a center I would rather take Kelly from Alabama.

Nice mock, it would really fortify our defense. I am not sure that Floyd would be there in the second but you never know who will drop.

Ron Stanley is a an actual college student working on a real degree. He will hit the weightroom harder and be an even better athlete as well as build on his already stout anchor. Not to mention learn to be nasty from ravens linemates.
Are you related to Stanley ?

I really like this kid, he seems to have great hands and could maneuver well, interesting mid round guy.
Burbridge reminds me of a smaller Kamar Aiken.
Round 1. Ronnie Stanley
Round 2. Jaylon Smith
Round 3. Braxton Miller
The question is how healthy is he now.
2 hours ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Assuming tunsil and Ramsey are gone, Jack and bosa are the only ones I would PREFER to sit for. I wouldn't move to 8 for any less than a 3rd and 2017 2nd, and I wouldn't move to 15 for any less than either a 2nd and 2017 1st or both of their 2nds.
3 2nd round picks this year and a mid first will be MASSIVE. We could legitimately think of getting 4 starters in one class and with perriman returning and weddle coming in we could have 6 New starters and completely transform this team.
Imagine getting Conklin at 15, and then alexander, bullard, and Calhoun in the 2nd. We have a possible cornerstone LT and a starting caliber film junkie cb with attitude, a very refined speed rusher who fits the 34, and a nasty and disruptive 3tech to replace canty. We would be in great shape and with all high character guys.
That would be four players who could step in and help immediately. Who would you take with the next four picks?

Sua Cravens Rd 2 but for inside linebacker next to mosley.
Shilique Calhoun Rd 2.
Kendall Fuller Rd 3
Rashard Higgins Rd 4
Willie Beavers Rd 4
Keith Marshall Rd 4
My ideal and final mock
Nice mock, it addresses several of the team's needs. Fuller in the third would be lucky but players always fall.
I would be shocked if anyone traded for Clady with his current contract. If Denver cannot get him to renegotiate his contract to a reasonable number they probably will cut him. If Clady is cut, Ozzie should sign him to a contract loaded with incentives.
4 hours ago, JoeyFlex5 said:I think we could get their 2nd for that
A realistic value for moving up from 8 to 6 would be the Eagle's 3rd round pick this year.
Your draft is good. Hargreaves and Brothers will be immediate contributors. I think Calhoun is a reach with the 36th pick, imo we could get much better value with this selection. I expected to see Schobert in your mock.

I hope you are right, both are huge needs for the Ravens.
44 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Of course you would take those guys over him. They're the guys that are above him in terms of bpa, except for vh3 and buckner maybe, the other guys are the only ones who are undisputedly better talents and they have a very slim chance of falling to us any way.
Zeke is a complete package which makes him elite. So you'd rather have a guy who bowls people over at an "elite" level but only finds holes half the time and can't pick up a blitz and has no breakaway speed? You want your rb to be really good at one thing and nothing else? That doesn't make sense to me but whatever floats your boat
No doubt Elliott is a top 15 talent, where he falls within the top 15 is debatable. The one thing I wonder about is his maturity. His childish outburst after the loss to Michigan State was embarrassing. He was cited for driving on a suspended license after a December auto accident. The suspended license resulted from not paying the fine from a speeding ticket. He chose to fight the speeding ticket but failed to show for his first two court dates. These items are not major events but they make you wonder how responsible he is and how he will behave after receiving a big signing bonus.
IMO either Buckner, Bosa or Jack would be a far superior pick to Elliott and are a better match for our team needs.
Assuming our first pick is either Jack, Bosa or Buckner I would have go with WJ3 or Spence. Either way our defense would be much better.

You seem to be a good judge of talent. I was curious what you see in Spriggs. I don't see him as a first round talent but I am wondering if I am missing something.
7 minutes ago, Underdogsontop! said:You think Butler over Camp or Chris Mathews? I think Butler would be back on practice squad.
If Camp is healthy no. I do put Butler ahead of Mathews. More than likely special teams will play a big role in determining the 5th and 6th receivers.
29 minutes ago, Underdogsontop! said:So here's what I'm thinking.......
1) SSS
2) Wallace
3) Aiken
4) Periman
5) Camp or Chris Mathews?
6) Draft pick
what do you folks think?
I think Butler needs to be in the mix.
Trading back from #6 to #14 for Oakland's 2nd and 3rd picks would be great value. I don't think Oakland would give that much, we would be lucky to get their 2nd and 4th picks. Dodd seems like a reach at 14. IMO Lawson is a better option at 14.
Grant is a burner who would be a good return specialist. His receiving numbers at Texas Tech were strong but he is only 168 lbs. Fourth round seems too early for him, I see him more as a free agent signing.
My prayers are with you Tray.
In that scenario with those first five picks, trading back would be a great move to go back to 11 and pick up the 41st selection. I would be surprised if the Bears would pay that high of a price.

I think there is at least a 50/50 chance he falls to us in the second round. He is raw, especially against the run. I guess it depends on if his interviews show his character issues are behind him.
