  1. Jones will definitely drop in the draft, how far will depend on his recovery time. With so many other good corners in this draft he may drop farther than you think he should.
  2. Losing Webb is sad but necessary. His time has come.
  3. 5.5 million.
  4. Do you realize that if the Ravens traded Flacco it would result in a 47 million dollar cap hit? Do you know what that would do to the team's roster?
  5. Juice is an average blocker, his leaving will have a minimal effect on our running game.
  6. 4.22 for John Ross !!!!
  7. What is our team's identity that you mention?
  8. I think relying on Nembot, Jensen or Urschel for next season would be a mistake. Both Jensen and Urschel had the opportunity to claim a starting spot last year and could not do so. Their play was disappointing. Expecting Nembot to step up from the practice squad to the starting lineup is quite a reach. We need better O-line play than these three can provide.
  9. I wish we were only a few pieces away from contending. We have many holes to fill if we are going to contend in 2017.
  10. Granted Jimmy Smith gets hurt often but when healthy he plays at a high level. Unfortunately Dennis Pitta will never play at a high level again. He no longer has the speed to get deep, he usually goes down after the first hit and his blocking is horrible. It is time for Pitta to go.
  11. Just because a job is difficult does not mean people should not be held accountable for their performance. I do feel referees need more training. They should be full time employees to accommodate thorough training. The NFL has the money to make that happen. Regardless of the difficulty I do not feel it is acceptable to settle for mediocrity.
  12. Your thoughts about the reduction in preparation time and practice time are incredibly valid. The fundamentals of blocking and tackling are lacking as a result of the current CBA. Hopefully the next CBA will allow the players to do more to perfect their craft.
  13. Jamal Adams seems to be the premier safety in this draft. We would be incredibly lucky if he were available at the 16th pick. What is your opinion of Marcus Williams ? I saw some impressive video of him, even though he appears to be slender of build.
  14. Juice does offer versatility. He is a jack of all trades but a master of none. I see him as an average blocker, nothing exceptional. His seven yard average per reception is nothing to get excited about. Losing Juice would not hurt us that much.
  15. One thing I feel would speed up the game is getting competent referees. There is no need for the excessive number of conferences for the referees to discuss a call. We need quality referees to make quick calls and move on. I see no need for the referee to go under the hood to review a challenged call, let the league office make the call. I also think referees don't make calls and rely on replay to correct their errors, they need to make the call. I agree player safety is important but the league has gone too far with personal foul penalties, football is a contact sport and players are well compensated for the risks they take. .
  16. Tarik Cohen certainly looked impressive. Does he return punts and kickoffs ?
  17. Danny Woodhead is a free agent. He could be the kind of running back the Ravens are looking for IF he is healthy.
  18. I just watched some video of Rogers and I must say he is very impressive. He will win more than his share of 50-50 balls. He seems very adept at finding the soft spots in a zone defense and has great hands. The only negative I noticed is that he is not a burner but he would be a great possession receiver and a good target in the red zone. I know he is not draft eligible this year but QB Sam Darnold impressed me as well.
  19. The twelfth pick for a one year rental is a steep price. Drafting a rookie quarterback early in round one gives you four years on a rookie contract with a fifth option.
  20. Which veteran free agents are you referring to that have put us in this situation?
  21. A youth movement would be great, especially if we draft well. With as many holes as we have to fill we need to rely on veteran free agents too unless you want to completely rebuild and suffer through a couple of losing seasons.
  22. If Jackson's health is sound and he would come here on the cheap I'd take a chance on him.
  23. I have to agree that Maxx Williams has been a disappointment after a promising rookie season, mostly due to injury. Timmy Jernigan on the other hand is much more of a disappointment to me. Jernigan flashes tremendous ability at times then disappears for long stretches and his stupid personal foul penalties are unforgivable.
  24. I would be very happy with this as our draft. Getting two defensive backs at the top of our draft would be a big help next year , especially Jones and King. I would be surprised to see Worley and Stewart drop that far but stranger things have happened.
  25. Mallet is a free agent.
