We will save 6,500,000 this year against the salary cap, that being his 2016 salary. We will still have 4,400,000 in dead money carrying over to 2017. It will be interesting to see what we do with the 6,500,000 we saved.

I see Stanley as the better talent, but training camp will decide who should play. Talent not salary should be the determining factor imo. I want the best players on the field.

If you are talking ROI you need to look at the big picture, that being total salary expenditures and the return on that investment. Doing so dictates you start the players that give you best chance to win. If you are saying it would be better to get rid of Monroe and use the salary cap savings for a better ROI I can understand that.

I think Monroe is best suited for a backup role if he is on the team. He is a solid tackle but I expect Stanley to be better than that. My preferred line would be Stanley, Jensen, Urschel, Yanda and Wagner.

Maxx should progress in his second year, he had a solid rookie season. Gilmore and Watson are both talented and will provide versatility for us at the TE position. I see Waller being our 4th TE because of his contributions on special teams. Sadly I don't see Pitta being able to play in the regular season.

I am anxious to see if Goff can handle the mental aspect of the pro game. Can he read defenses ? Can he perform well in the face of a strong pass rush ? It will be interesting to see how he develops.

I would hope the Ravens organization would retire number 19 permanently. Even though the game has changed drastically since Johnny Unitas played he is still one the greatest players to ever play the game. Unitas is a major part of Baltimore football history.

I would have to say Stanley because he will give Joe peace of mind. The young pass rushers will be a big help. Keep an eye on Willie Henry, he will be solid in our DL rotation.

The more tape I see of Kaufusi the more I like him. He is a playmaker with a non-stop motor. For those of you who may be old school, he reminds me of Ted Hendricks who played for the Baltimore Colts and the Oakland Raiders.

Hopefully some of the younger players are ready to contribute so we can trade some the older vets such as Dumervil, Monroe and Forsett. We could pick up some draft picks for next year and free up some cap room.
