  1. Keenan Allen Jeremy maclin Allen hurns Jaelen Strong DGB Jermaine Kearse Tavon austin Randall Cobb here's a list of guys I can see there teams being willing to pass on wether it's for contract size, injury history or just not being as effective as expected except for hurns. I just think the jags would let him go b/c of Westbrook
  2. Last year, Baltimore had a need at safety. Webb was getting too slow for a CB so he switched and held his own. This year, they have a need at WR and FB. The obvious one is have Waller go back to being a WR but in my opinion, his position title doesn't really matter. He isn't strong enough to warrant a safety or linebacker so I expect CBs to line up against him for a while. He's also one of our best gunners so I don't expect him to go anywhere. The 3 guys I wanna talk about it Allen, Taliafero, and Boyle. Allen and Taliafero are both 6ft 220+ pounds. If Allen slimmed down, he could switch to WR and if taliafero bulked up, he could go FB. I also think Boyle could be a serviceable FB. I'm just looking places for guys that didn't see the field often. We spent picks on these guys so we're invested. I think we should try everything possible to get as much out of them as we can. Anyone else you could imagine changing positions?
  3. I love this mock. This would definitely be a dream scenario for me but there was one thing I noticed in carl Lawson's highlight video. His teammate Montravius Adams looked like a beast. I know that the video was meant to show off Lawson but I couldn't help myself to keep watching Adams. At 1:45 in the video, the dude drew a triple teams. Now this is also the first I've seen of him so I know nothing of him. He could be terrible for all I know. But I looked up his projections and it has him going anywhere from the 1st to the 3rd and if we took him in the 3rd, it wouldn't bother me a bit. But like I said, I could be way off b/c this is the first I've seen of him. Curious of what the rest of you think
  4. I guess we will see. It's not just von. Simply used him as an example. I'm not saying we can't get by with a below average RT. But if we don't have someone step up, it will be a rough year for joe. Claiming he can just "avoid" the rush from the right side is wishful thinking. Joe loves to roll out right on play action passes. Can't do that with a pass rusher in your face every play b/c you put a sandbag in at RT. All I'm saying is that Baltimore needs to get a damn good player at RT. If we don't, you will all be clamoring for a RT next year too as we also likely have to draft Yandas future replacement. Like I said, I would love to get a stud in later rounds. Our amazing 2014 line only had 1 first rounder on it. That was Monroe and he was the worst out of all of them. I just think a solid line is Baltimore's ticket back to the playoffs.
  5. For years LT was considered the harder position to play. Most people on this planet are right handed which means that most QBs are. So when I QB drops back, his back is to the left side. But nowadays, elite rushers rush from the right side with the knowledge that the RT isn't as athletic and can't stop them. Don't believe me, then go watch von millers top 10 plays of 2016. 10 plays. 10 sacks. All RTs. This is the reason I would be ok if Baltimore drafted a tackle round 1 or 2. It isn't ideal. Ideally we get a stud out of a 5th rounder, but if we want to be successful, joe has to be upright and that means getting a quality RT
  6. QB:Flacco/Mallet-2 RB:Forsett/Allen/Dixon-3 FB:Juszczyk-1 TE:Watson/gillmore/Williams-3 WR:Smith/Aiken/perriman/Wallace/butler/Moore/Reynolds-7 T:Stanley/Monroe/Lewis/Wagner-4 IL:Yanda/zuttah/urschel/Jensen-4 ST:Tucker/Koch/Cox-3 DE:Guy/urban/kaufusi-3 DT:Williams/Jernigan/Davis/Henry-4 OLB:Suggs/dumervil/correa/smith/judon -5 ILB:Mosely/Orr/McClellan/UDFA-4 CB:Smith/wright/Davis/young/canady-5 S:Weddle/Webb/brooks/Lewis/Elam-5 i did this with the idea of keeping all of our draftees and one UDFA.
  7. Not saying that I want Baltimire to pass on him. If he is there, I hope we take him without a second thought. My question is, what if Ramsey is there and we pass on him? What would another team have to give up to be worth considering? The Raiders just lost Woodson. If Ramsey is there, would anyone be ok with trading back? If so, what would be the minimum price that you think Baltimire would except?
  8. Peters got 8 ints, which is great, but he also allowed over 900 yards and 7 TDs. Through 10 games, sharice wright only allowed around 130 yards and 1 TD. He didn't start all 10 games but that's still impressive. He has the ability to be a good corner, but he isn't a shut down kind of guy. He is the kind of guy to get a pick one play but allow a 60 yard TD the next. I would have preferred Ronald Darby honestly
  9. OC is the designated position that is given to him on other mocks. I was under the assumption that it stood for Offensive Center, but I could be wrong. And about miller, he isn't me out right go to guy. I think he has a lot of potential and a year behind a guy like Steve smith would help him a lot. I feel like he is a boom or bust player. He is either great or a waste of a draft pick. He did well at the senior bowl and if he out performs other recievers at the combine, he could easily end up in the second round. Some believe he could even push his way into the first. All in all, this is just for fun. The combine will change a lot and I will do plenty more of these. Miller is insanely athletic. I see him as a bigger tavon Austin. He can take hand offs, he can catch, and I know he has a bad shoulder, but we could even have him throw it on trick plays. I think there is a lot of upside with him but he would definitely be a risk.
  10. I got a little lazy and decided to keep my 4th, 5th, and 6th rounds the same. I truly believe the Ravens will part ways with canty. If that is the case, DE becomes a bigger need. We can still get pass rush from a DE. A defensive front with Suggs, Buckner, Williams, Jernigan and Dumervil looks scarier than Suggs, urban, Williams, Jernigan and dumervil. Even if we had a young OLD like spence, he would only be on the field part time while a DE like Buckner will likely hop right into the starting lineup early on. That's just my opinion, everyone has one. Please don't hesitate to share yours. Tell me what you think and I will adjust. This is with no trades and is getting 2 4th round comps and a 5th rounder. I think any 3 of these options would be great. 1st-Deforest Buckner-DE 2nd-Eli Apple-CB 3rd-Braxton Miller-WR 4th-Yannick Ngakoue-OLB 4th-Karl Joseph-SS 4th-Avery Young-OT 4th-Cyrus Jones-CB/RS 5th-Tyler Matakevich-ILB 6th-Graham Glasgow-OC 1st-Vernon Hargreaves III-CB 2nd-Tyler Boyd-WR 3rd-Adolphus Washington-DE 4th-Yannick Ngakoue-OLB 4th-Karl Joseph-SS 4th-Avery Young-OT 4th-Cyrus Jones-CB/RS 5th-Tyler Matakevich-ILB 6th-Graham Glasgow-OC 1st-Laquon Treadwell-WR 2nd-Carl Nassib-DE 3rd-Will Redmond-CB 4th-Yannick Ngakoue-OLB 4th-Karl Joseph-SS 4th-Avery Young-OT 4th-Cyrus Jones-CB/RS 5th-Tyler Matakevich-ILB 6th-Graham Glasgow-OC
  11. No matter who we take, I really hope Baltimore takes a DE somewhere early. Urban and guy are good rotation players and that's really it. We need an every down DE. Canty is a phenomenal run stopper but we also need someone to get to the qb or at the very least draw more double teams to free up others.
  12. I like kaufusi b/c of the very real possibility of us cutting canty again. We will need another big guy like canty. We have urban and guy but we will still need a decent DE to take canty a spot. Even if urban or guy is the starter, with canty potential gone, having another mammoth of a man couldn't hurt. But if we were to pass on kaufusi, I wouldn't mind us taking a better ILB.
  13. I have never done a mock before. Now please understand that this is my first and just a dream scenario. With that said, please still don't hold anything back and correct and critique as much as you want. Feel free to explain why certain picks won't pan out so I can adjust and try again. In this scenario we trade our 1st and denvers 4th for the Rams 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I don't see them giving us both of their seconds even though that would be great. This way, they get a 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder, and a 4th rounder. We get a later 1st, but also get 2 2nd, 2 3rd, and an earlier 4th. I also assumed we would get 2 4th and a 5th comp pick. I know some of these player will have to fall a lot to land in our laps (especially Ngakoue and Joseph) but it happens. I looked at mocks last year that had Jaelen strong going to us in the 1st and he fell to the 3rd. One of the first mocks I looked at last year had Diggs going to the patriots 32nd overall and he fell to the 5th. So it's possible. But anyway, here it is. 1-Noah Spence-OLB 2-Eli Apple-CB 2-Micheal Thomas-WR 3-Jerald Hawkins-OT 3-Bronson Kaufusi-DE 4-Yannick Ngakoue-OLB 4-Karl Joseph-SS 4-Terrance Smith-MLB 4-Cyrus Jones-CB/RS 5-Demarcus Robinson-WR 6-Graham Glasgow-OC
  14. This is my first post. I have read a lot about players we may target and draft day trades we may make. I'm just curious if there are some players in the league currently that you think Baltimore could trade for that would be instant contributors. I'm not saying blow our first round pick. But a trade like the one the jets did last year. Trade a 4th and 5th rounder and get a monster of a reviver like Marshall. Just curious what player you guys think teams could part ways with
