I thinks he's a fantastic #2 though and that's what he is for my team, Norman will shadow other teams' #1 receiver and leave House with the #2
I think you've got a steal there if the coaches come to their senses. Especially as a 2nd cb, I think he'd be great.

I have no idea. It seems weird considering his performance last year. But yeah, that's why I stayed away and passed him to you.
Just now, VeiledPsychosis said:Why wouldn't he start? I don't see any CBS on the roster that are better than him. Take away the game against Hopkins and he played very well last year. Even if the Jags intend to play Ramsey at CB (which I seriously doubt and I think it would be a serious mistake) House would probably still get the nod on experience alone
They just spent a lot of money to bring Prince in. Plus Ramsey and Colvin. I agree it was just one game, and it was Hopkins, but he got crucified for it locally.
And then in October, he actually said he wasn't the starter anymore. I think it was a lot of overreaction to one game. He did get himself out of the dog house and had a great year. But then with their offseason moves.... I think there's more drama yet to come.

Is House even starting next year? They've got a lot of CBs these days.
With the 323rd pick, the Lumberjacks select
Jason McCourty, CB.
With the 319th (?) pick, the Lumberjacks select:
CB Byron Maxwell.

You're right, I just checked the time stamps on the posts. So if Codizzle doesn't stop the clock, it makes it a matter of minutes. Huh.
1 minute ago, BmoreBird22 said:I believe if that's your first skip it's 12 hours still
I'm not sure that was a skip on his part. I think we skipped him. It definitely wasn't 12 hours.
I love the David Johnson pick. I was hoping he'd last a little longer. IMO, he's the best candidate for the next franchise RB.

I am concerned yes, but I think with enough solid talent around him (like Linsley) and development (he's only 23) he can do just fine, especially since he's shown such potential already.
Madden 2016 is calling him above average in both already. Blocking is higher, but passing is still.... a passing grade. Heh.
So you've got a really nice pick there.

No wonder I'm not getting any of them.

Pretty much. I'll see everyone next weekend!
With the 259th pick the Lumberjacks select
Nate Solder, Eligible Receiver (LT)

He could be a good influence on that young defense. Win/win.
1 minute ago, BmoreBird22 said:I really debated Nelson because he had that great year last year, but then he went and sat on the market for a bit. Have to wonder why.
Love the Rankins pick; he'd have been mine.
I'm assuming age vs. money, right? It's hard to sign a 32 year old DB to a long contract. I'm guessing his age is the only reason he lasted this long. Short term, he's a steal.

Pick is in.
Cam Newton has me looking for run blockers at least as much as pass defenders. At left or right guard, I think Allen will help pull blocks and not get Cam killed too often passing.
With the 254th pick, the Lumberjacks select
Jeff Allen, run blocker

I really like that pick.
So just out of curiosity, I looked up Orr's rankings on PFF. I'm a little surprised to see that coverage was his worst skill last year. Could be a fluke or a small sample size. But overall he wasn't awful at anything, just no skills that would stand out. Overall he had a higher ranking than a number of starters (including Mosley). Their rankings make it clear that it's his job to lose, but he still might not be what we want.
With the 195th(?) pick, the Lumberjacks select
Jerrell Freeman, Linebacker
With the 190th pick, the Lumberjacks select
Morgan Burnett, safety

I think I know who you mean. Either I just missed it when he was taken, or someone is getting a steal.
Just now, Kinda_Dante said:How did Colin Kapernick go before Brock Osweiler?
Name recognition. We played against Kaep in the Super Bowl. Brock is still just The New Guy. Now, if Brock had started over Peyton.... but anyway.
1 minute ago, BmoreBird22 said:I'm very active, so you will be up no later than 5 if you're after me.
There's still one person before you, and another person after you, before I go. 24 hours isn't a crazy estimate, but the first one will probably be tonight and the next one tomorrow.

Since you added Bo and OJ, then yeah I think it's time to add Payton as well.
