  1. I count five I'd consider, which I guess is a lot. But after that I see a huge drop off. Someone is going to get stuck snapping to the running back if they're not careful.
  2. If I have any excuse to create a spreadsheet, I'll take it. I once had a spreadsheet for another spreadsheet during fantasy baseball season. Even my video games get spreadsheets. I guess it's more of an idea board than a list. I don't have any rankings on the players, just notes.
  3. Yeah, my spreadsheet is start to look like an old folks' home.
  4. Makes sense. I'm starting to run out of guys who can help every part of Cam's game.
  5. I'm almost glad to see him gone. His run blocking wasn't consistent last year (though trending in the right direction). I wasn't sure what to make of him.
  6. People are not going to notice this conversation after a few days. I figured keeping the same name would make it less confusing for anyone who doesn't read all this. After the draft, I'll probably change it.
  7. Roster is up: I'm pretty much sticking to PuRock's script for now, just to avoid confusion. I made a lot of the positions generic. I may end up going 4-3 instead of 3-4; offense alignment could be a bit different too. Let me know if it needs to be more specific.
  8. PuRock had to step out; real life priorities. So I'm taking over the Lumberjacks, and they're okay. Squad of Pop! QB - Cam Newton (1st round - 3rd overall) RB Jeremy Hill (15th round - 451st overall) WR1 Kenny Stills (17th round - 515th overall) WR2 Jermaine Kearse (19th round - 638th overall) Slot: Brandon LaFell FB: Kyle Juszczyk (19th round - 579th overall) TE Eric Ebron (16th round - 510th overall) TE2 Michael Hoomanawanui LT Nate Solder (9th round - 259th overall) LG Jeff Allen (8th round - 254th overall) C Rodney Hudson (4th round - 126th overall) RG Brandon Fusco (18th round - 574th overall) RT Bobby Massie (13th round - 387th overall) DT Malik Jackson (5th round - um, somewhere) DT Arik Armstead (14th round - 445th overall) DE William Gholston (19th round - 643rd overall) DE: Cameron Jordan (3rd round - 67th overall) WILL Jamie Colllins (2nd round - 62nd overall) MIKE Jerrell Freeman (7th round - 195th overall) SAM Kentrell Brothers LCB Jason McCourty (11th round - 323rd overall) RCB Byron Maxwell (10th round - 319th overall) .05 Chris Culliver SS: Morgan Burnett (6th round - 190th overall) FS: Darian Stewart (12th round - 382nd overall)
  9. Gotcha. Probably won't matter for a few days, but I'm ready.
  10. If you had any plans, notes, or strategies feel free to message me. I don't want to Cleveland Browns this draft by switching GMs on Day 1.
  11. Italian Ravens is first, and I'm not trying to muck up the works. But I'm right behind him on the waiting list. If you know for sure you can't do it, I can start prepping for a Cam + 25 guys draft.
  12. Now I'm curious to see how much Kamalei Kaufusi Andy Dalton's bladder can stand.
  13. Forsett, Dixon, Allen in that order. Juice as the fourth. I know people are excited about West and Richardson, potential upside with hardly any risk. But I think they're just warm bodies on a team depleted by injuries. Dixon and Allen are the better long-term projects, and both can step into roles this year. Keep in mind, this is the same Trent Richardson: http://dailysnark.com/trent-richardson-ignores-humongous-hole-runs-right-traffic/
  14. But he gets to meet Giselle. Worth it.
  15. I see the same things, but I think there's two big factors for why that is: one is the time Bortles doesn't get to make a decision. Dude gets rushed a lot. I'm not allowed to mention the other reason yet. If Bortles had Carr's support, I think he'd be a safe bet.
  16. I'm actually sitting on him in my office's dynasty league. I'm pretty much making the same bets you describe.
  17. Just by the numbers I definitely think the interceptions were a problem. I'm believing a lot of that, and the sacks, will be helped out by the offensive line improving. But just head-to-head, outside of their teams, I like him better than Carr.
  18. We're following the letter of the law, if not the intention. But seriously, it's hard to talk about any draft in a vacuum of just a couple of picks. It'll be easier as the draft progresses. But the early picks get the most conversation and the least context.
  19. Bortles. I was talking about Blake Bortles. I had him higher than Carr and Mariotta, personally. That may be subjective. But yeah, the way he fed two good receivers enough for both to put up legit WR1 numbers all year, usually from his back, really impressed me.
  20. I think this is where Moore shines as well. He's one more 6ft, 200+ lbs target that has to be covered. But for the original question, I think it's TE. I think Watson still has a year or two left in him. I think he, Williams, and Gilmore could all be starters for other teams. That's three guys when usually we'll only need one, and doesn't include Pitta. It could be the rookies step up and prove me wrong, especially on one of the lines. But for now, I have to say tight end.
  21. I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm just saying the maybe the Raider's offense wasn't just Carr. If there's a young QB who's already the team MVP, or will be soon, then go for it. I'm not sure that's Carr.
  22. I agree that's where they're all going to go. I'm saying that it's too high a value for some of them. There's a few picks that could be made late in the first that could offset not getting a top QB. Rodgers, Luck, Cam, and Wilson I agree with. I think Carr was too soon (his offense has been healthy so far into his career). Mariotta I'm not sure about. But with both of those guys gone, I'm really surprised Someone Else is still available. So yeah, that's the market. I'm just bearish on it.
  23. I agree "the" arrow is pointing up. And he's pretty high on my own rankings. But I can't say for sure it's HIS arrow. Can't say anymore until later.
  24. I completely agree, especially pass rushers. There are QBs I would have taken first, but I'm not at all surprised that Watts and Mack are already gone.
  25. The league looking different is what I was calling the metagame. So yeah, no way it happens today. But that's what I'm trying to describe. I agree about Cam's value being independent from....... other positions. I think there's a number of QBs like that: <redacted>, <redacted>, and Rodgers come to mind. Probably <redacted> as well. But then Derek Carr just got taken very early in this draft, and I'm not certain he's that kind of player just yet. Is Carr any different than, for example, <redacted, brother of redacted>?
