    Ah.  Thanks

Also,  I'm not excited to take Stanley but if we signed KO it would mean our line is set for awhile.   I don't think he improves us right away like some of the defense guys,  but for the future it would be nice.   Definitely wouldn't mind building something like Dallas,  a good oline helps every one on offense

I hope we sign KO and grab a defensive playmaker with that 6th pick and there will be a few.

Now that it's been reported that K.O is looking for 10M+ per year for a deal, I am near certain he won't be a Baltimore Raven. Now the question becomes who do we really take at #6. I don't think we can afford to go defense if K.O is gone. My bet is now fully on Ronnie Stanley being our #6 pick unless of course he's taken by the Chargers at #3. Seriously K.O 10M? After playing 4 games at LT and that too because of the opportunity the Ravens gave you? Terrible.

If we take Stanley we are picking top 15 or more likely top 10 next year.

Yes. #2 behind Joes says quite a bit when Jimmy Smith is the second-highest paid player on the team in average pay. If we're talking second-highest paid player on offense, then we're talking more than Yanda at $8M. The reports I've read suggest he'll be the second-highest paid player period, which puts him north of Jimmy's 10M.

Reports are that KO is seeking 10 million or more.

Jack is a need because he can play coverage as well as a CB. People love comparing him to Bucannon but he's still a safety in coverage while Jack plays as well as a CB and can man up with a WR toe to toe downfield. I doubt he'll do this against guys like Antonio Brown, but I trust him against guys like Boldin. Not sure on the knee.

Jaylon Smith is already walking without crutches or a brace. This kid could be a fantastic healer. There a freak healers out there defying recovery timetables. If we had Smith top of our board before, and he's showing the ability to walk now without support this early, then I think he'll do just fine to open the year.

I'm sure Tunsil us at the top but I don't see him falling to us. Even the Cowboys could take him. I know, why would they do that? Because they'd have the best OL in football for years and pressure comes from everywhere now not just LT. I don't think we have any shot at Tunsil unless he gets arrested for beating up a cop while smoking a blunt after attempting to rob a bank with an assault rifle he stole after stealing a car moments before as his getaway car.

Heard reports that he had something on his knee that may indicate nerve damage. Something called an AFO.

Honestly if I had to guess who we have as our top 2 players it's gotta be the obvious in Bosa and Ramsey, although I think Smith could still be in play and even Jack.

I don't know what it is, but I think our big board may be in no particular order: Tunsil, Stanley(unless we sign KO-please, please make this happen), Bosa, Buckner, Spence, Ramsey and VH3.

I think Smith's knee will knock him out for his rookie season and we can't afford another 1st rounder to have this happen.

I think Jack is interesting, but I also think the knee is worse than reported and he is not a direct need.

I'd honestly think it'd be further than that.

He admitted his ecstasy issue dates back to high school, failed twice in college, that we know of, and then failed a drug test at one of the most important scouting events before the actual draft. That's a load of stupidity.

True, but I think someone takes the chance in the second round.

So, reading the tea leaves from Ozzie/John in the last 24 hours or so, lets play this out...

    1. Ozzie said Webb is a starting safety. Fine, that's been assumed. Lets presume that he's the starting FS, and Lewis is either benched or cut (likely the latter), and Webb starts next to Hill.

Draft spin: Does this take us out of the equation for Ramsey if hes available (though likely won't be)? What position would he play if we drafted him? Start as a corner, maybe switch to safety after a few years? Does it make Hargreaves or another corner as the more likely person to be drafted?

    2. Aggressive offer to KO to be our future LT. Lets assume a deal gets done, and we cut Monroe.

Draft spin: Pretty much takes us out of play to draft an OT in the 1st round, unless we plan on starting them at RT long term and letting Wagner walk after this season

If 1 and 2 both happen, haven't we sort of narrowed our draft window a bit? Could still take Ramsey I guess, but probably be several years before he starts at safety, and OT is largely out of the picture. Doesn't that bring us back to three positions... pass rusher, WR, or Corner?

If this does happen I think we go pass rusher, depending on who is there(I think Bosa and Buckner will be gone so the best option is Spence at that point imo,) or cornerback which would be VH3 more than likely. No WRs worth taking at 6.
