I think he also had Tebow signing with the Browns at the beginning of free agency.
I think you do have to be concerned with taking Tunsil because of his injuries, he has not played a full season in college and we already have a LT that gets hurt. Personally,(I know I'm going to get negged) I would like to see us get back to having a dominant defense that teams feared and had to gameplan for, but I would understand taking Tunsil, I would just rather take Ramsey,(probably not there) Bosa, Jack(if our doctors approve) or VH3(probably would have to be a trade back.) That's just the direction I would like us to go in, I don't think I'm wrong, I just have a different perspective.

Tunsil.

Maybe. Unless the Chargers will take less because they have less leverage, but you never know just something to think about.
Just now, ALPHA said:I don't think you can justify moving up for a tackle, maybe Elliott as he can shoulder the entire offense.
Arguably the best player in the draft and the second most important position.
49ers could move up to three to take Tunsil with Staley unhappy with the rebuilding process. They could trade him and Kap to Denver and trade for Bradford. Bucs could trade up for Ramsey also they could use a big time player in the secondary.
Wouldn't surprise me if SD and Dallas trade out. I have a feeling SD wants more picks to fill out their roster and someone wants Tunsil or Ramsey, Dallas to get a few picks and still get Elliott and someone who wants Tunsil or Ramsey.

Doesn't everybody? Though I would prefer a pet lion.

Yes if it goes QB, QB, Tunsil then I would trade up for Ramsey if the Cowboys are more interested in Bosa or Elliott. More than likely if SD pass on Tunsil he falls to us.

Please tell me where I said that I said I would be disappointed that we didn't get a defensive superstar I didn't say it was a bad pick did I. And where do a lot of the great pass rushers come from? The right side, Miller Watt(majority of the time), Mack, etc.
Would anyone else be disappointed if we ended up with Tunsil? Sorry I just can't get excited about the pick, probably because I love defense and it would be incredible to land a defensive superstar like Ramsey, Jack or in my opinion VH3.
Best case: Ramsey or Jack in the first and Spence or Alexander in the second.
Worst case: Getting none of them.
Maybe the Browns trade with the 49ers.
I would rather get the right guy(the one we want) than just the guy that reached us. I think that if Spence gets past 20 there is a good chance he gets to us even with some teams needing pass rushers because I believe there will be a run on CBs between the 20's and the top half of the second round. But I would rather trade up and maybe give of a pick this year or a future pick in order to get the guy we really want. Also if we take him in the first round we have him for an extra year. So say we get Jack or VH3(my preferences) then trade up and get Spence that's a very good start to the draft I believe.

Buckner not attending the draft means we are not picking him.
No QBs taken in the top 5, we trade with the 49ers and pick up a 3rd or 4th rounder and they take Goff. Then we trade with the Eagles and pick up another 3rd or 4th rounder and they pick Wentz and we still get the guy we want.
The draft goes Tunsil, Wentz, Ramsey, Bosa/Elliott, Buckner/Bosa and we end up with Jack!!!!
Biggest Bust: Three Weeks until the draft. Let's go already.
3 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Tunsil is the clear cut 1 I think, most have Ramsey at 2, and then 3 is typically between Jack and zeke, now I'm taking Jack all day but mainly for need and positional value, but in your scenario Jack isn't available. Basing it off of pure talent and tape, I think Zeke is far and away a better prospect than vh3 and buckner. If the ravens at 6 are choosing between buckner, zeke, and vh3, I wouldn't be surprised with zeke one bit and I wouldn't be upset with the pick either. He is in the top tier "elite" prospect list, the other guys are a notch below.
I have VH3 above Zeke and tied with Bosa and Buckner just below that.
57 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:In that case It's hard to argue that Elliott isn't bpa though. Elliott is a top 3 talent in this draft, his film proves it, and the fact that the game no longer revolves around a workhorse back but a guy who can catch and pass protect at an elite level, and also TOP and converting 3rd and shorts, then positional value becomes less of an issue with a guy like him
Top 3? How are the other 2?
Well Mel Kiper has us taking Zeke in his latest mock, I'll be honest I would be bummed, sorry but we need defense and several of them maybe all of our first three picks. Defense wins champions, offense wins games.
His mock went Tunsil Wentz Ramsey Bosa Jack.
Those 2 options would definitely be up there with my worst nightmares also that we trade down, which I think is a mistake to do unless it is with the 49ers to switch draft spots, and take someone like Ragland.

Is it odd that we have only officially met with Tunsil once? And that was at the combine which means like a 15 minute meeting. Kind of interesting. Most of the other top prospects we have meet more than once or brought them in for a private visit.
