Doesn't that bring more question marks about his toughness and ability to deal with criticism than just going on and defending himself. He's not going to drop from the number one overall pick either way, but it just is not a good look to me to shy away from conflict because he is going to criticized and scrutinized when he gets to the NFL. The offense struggled last year and with these loses it may be worse. Also a possible push to keep Williams with the recent cuts. I could see the draft going cornerback, pass rusher and safety being our first three picks, in any order. Just a thought...
