Very impressed with Matt Schaub's unselfish attitude in working with Mallett. Don't know what happened to cause his passing game to go south in the past 3 years but he's always been a gentleman and a good teammate. Wishing him luck in the future.

Texan fan here again. How do you like him now?? I told you that Mallett would be a pleasant surprise for you. Wish we had him back for the playoffs (if we make it) Could you please trade us your draft choice so we can get a quarterback for next year!!

I'm a Texan season ticket owner and January J is spot on in his assessment. Mallett was no problem in his first year with us. He won his first start with us last year (beat Hoyer by the way) but played his second game with a torn pectoral. Signed a contract with us though he had other offers and the next week they brought in Hoyer for competition. No excuse for the tardiness but I do think the whole yo-yo starting situation played with his mind. Think he will be a pleasant surprise for Ravens and certainly will not cause any problems in the locker room. Wishing him good luck.
