  1. I can't understand why people want Bosa. I don't see him fitting into our defense at all. Buckner would work way better in our 3-4.
  2. Pigs will fly before this happens. No way Lynch makes it out of the second. Probably not even the first
  3. Buckner is going to have a huge combine and force somebody to pick him in front of us. He has the highest ceiling of anybody in this draft. Could see this guy having a JJ Watt type impact. He is the guy who pushes a Bosa or Ramsey to us. With that said, I am obviously a huge Buckner guy and hope he has just a great combine so he is there for us at 6. Letting him, Jernigan and Williams loose on the quarterback makes me giddy thinking about.
  4. Except the only thing is, Flacco is here for the next 5-7 years regardless. He is the face of our franchise for the foreseeable future. That much isn't debatable. If that is the understanding why not just make his whole contract guaranteed, but tack on a few extra years so it ends up paying him around 17 million per year which would help our cap out a ton. Give him a Tom Brady like contract.
  5. 1) Buckner/Ramsey 2) Michael Thomas Michael Thomas is going to be a stud, take that to the bank
  6. I am starting to think Buckner will be the best player in this whole draft 3 years from now. I want him badly and he has potential to be an absolute monster in this league
  7. LOL not a chance this happens. And I suppose you think Flacco is going to throw 40 td's and 4500+ yards?? Not how our offense works. Furthermore, Gilmore hasn't shown he can stay on the field long enough to put those kinds of numbers up and I would love to hear why you think Williams will make a huge jump. I could almost never tell he was even on the field this year and had next to no impact. I expect a better year from him, but with Gilmore and Boyle taking playing time from him I don't think Williams gets anymore than 400 yards and 3 td's. Hoping he proves me wrong. Perriman I see putting up 750 and 6 td's as he improves throughout the year.
  8. William Moore got cut by the Falcons. He has been hurt alot the past few years, that is a guy we could get for the low and would be a huge upgrade, plus he is still pretty young. Seems like a good gamble to me. Cut Elam and Lewis, they are both awful
  9. If we can get him for cheap I am for it. Guys he isn't that good. We need to draft a corner with a first or second round pick
  10. Can someone explain to me why the Ravens and Flacco don't sit down and come to an agreement similar to the Pats and Brady? Everyone knows he is our QB for the next 5 years so why not tack on 2 extra years to the deal, spread the cap hit over the next 5 equally and make the money 100% guaranteed if he will take less money per year, say in the range of 16 million (way more than Brady gets). A 5 year $80 million 100% guaranteed deal for Flacco would give the ravens way more flexibility to go get key pieces and help us win now. 16 mil cap hit per year is definitely manageable. I am not super well versed on contract numbers though, so if I am way off please tell me why
  11. I think we all agree Flacco isn't going anywhere and is the face of our franchise for at least the next 5 years whether you like him or not correct? Can someone please explain to me why then we don't just take on three extra years to his remaining 3 years, make all the money he is already owed guaranteed and spread it over the now 6 years we have him under contract? Wouldn't that make the cap hit for each year well under 20 million and give us a ton of money to spend elsewhere on the roster? I feel like this what the Pats did with Brady and while I know Flacco isn't even in the same league as Brady, we view him no different than Brady in that he is the face of the franchise and isn't going anywhere any time soon. I'm not a salary cap whiz though so maybe this isn't how it works, thoughts?
  12. Dude a ton of people on this board are already calling him a bust despite never even stepping on the field. I would say people crucified him. On Maxx I get the steep learning curve, but especially with all the injuries we have had I don't understand why we don't force feed the kid the ball instead of Aiken. Somebody has to catch a few passes and I guess I am disappointed it hasn't been someone like Maxx that I had such high hopes for entering the season. Hopefully he shows a little more next year.
  13. Gillmore is NOT Gronk. Should not even be mentioned in the same sentence. These boards get so easily carried away and immediately want to anoint someone an absolute stud. At the moment I love his toughness and believe he can be good, but he is extremely inconsistent and regularly disappears in games. His stats are nothing special. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. People said the same thing about Pitta when everyone was super happy we signed him, but even his best season he never put up more than 700 yards. The hard truth is we don't have any studs, we don't have any Odell Beckham's or Revis or Von Miller's or Gronk's on our roster and we as fans need to stop hyping the guys we do have up like they are comparable to these guys when they aren't even close. On another note... Can someone tell me why these boards haven't gone in on Maxx Williams for not showing up this season when he was our 2nd round pick? He hasn't done much more than Perriman all year but people on these boards crucified Perriman for not playing. Williams has at least played and has done next to nothing and yet nobody bashes him, I don't get it
  14. What are the odds that Maxx Williams steps up next year? As a second round pick I got to say I am extremely dissapointed in his play this year and am honestly surprised this board hasn't really complained about him given how much people complained about Perriman. Can somebody please explain to me why this guy has done almost as little as Perriman has for us this year??
