  1. BENCH STANLEY PLEASE
  2. Through 7 weeks he has 5 tds and 6 picks. We need to make adjustments after the bye. He was absolutely dreadful today
  3. Did Perriman play today? Didn't notice him once
  4. Not if he has to hold and get penalized to do it!
  5. Dude he is average at best. I don't think he has gone a game without being whistled for holding before he got hurt. Honestly don't understand the obsession with him, I don't think he has been bad, especially for a rookie, but our fan base treats him like a pro bowler and he just isn't there yet
  6. This is solidifying my opinion that Stanley is soft. Shades of Eugene Monroe, we should have traded for Ramsey.
  7. Yeah I feel you. Actually think he played well today. Guess I feel like if we pay him like he's Brady he should bail us out and get us a W every once in a while. The last 3 weeks he has had a chance at the end and is 0-3. To me you gotta get it done there
  8. I'm glad it's you who responded since you are a Flacco guy. I am too, think we could do a lot worse at QB, but we pay him because he is a winner, not for him to throw 4500 yards and 35 tds. And I'm good with that! Problem is he hasn't been winning us games lately. The playoff game he didn't win at the end. I feel like Joe always has a chance at the end for us and never gets it done when we need a score. We pay him Brady money to get that TD when we need it. Am I wrong jacket?
  9. Harbaugh is fine. He gets us to play hard and we are always in these games. It isn't his fault our team is devoid of talent, that is on Ozzie honestly. At the end of that game I knew we were going to lose because we have no playmakers to come up big when it counts. Can someone tell me when the last time our 120 million dollar QB actually won us a game? I'm not talking Tucker... I feel like Flacco hasn't won us a game since about 2013 when Marlon Brown pulled down that catch in the snow against the Vikings. Someone tell me I'm wrong?
  10. Really tough to say how we end up next year. Because of the easy schedule travel wise I think that favors us to win a few more of those nail biters we dropped last year. Wasn't thrilled with our draft class, but I don't think that as is important as seeing what we get our of Flacco, Suggs, Perriman and SSS as those guys all return from injury as well as how Weddle and Wallace mesh with our team. I am going to be optimistic and pick us to go 9-7 as most of those guys listed perform well and we snag a wild card slot.
  11. 1. Dodd 2. Spence 3. Fuller 4. Cravens
  12. Not a huge fan of the Stanley pick because it doesn't help fix our problem of lack of play makers. However, a fair amount of play makers on the board when we will pick at 35 tonight. I feel like you were super high on Kevin Dodd this past week, even suggesting you wouldn't be mad if we took him at 6. Think he will be there for us tonight at 35 and do we take him to help fix the pass rush? Pretty surprised he fell out of the top 20 let alone the whole first round. I want him or Jack at this point.
  13. Uhhhh he's the best athlete in the draft even with a balky knee... We need another stud LB to pair with Mosley
  14. This. Would have preferred this or taking a gamble with Myles Jack.
  15. The Dolphins got a ridiculous steal, we panicked and messed up. Stanley is Monroe 2.0, no mean streak. Can only hope Yanda rubs off on Stanley, smh
  16. This isn't instant coffee! Everyone on this board advocates playing it safe. Try an be optimistic all you want, he wasn't best pick available, not even best pick at the position! We should have rolled the dice on Jack or Shaq Lawson. How is anybody happy right now with this pick??
  17. Bro what prospect do you like? Ramsey is as close to a perfect prospect as you can get. All I hear from you on these boards is what you don't like. You have an issue with every single prospect and while I get nobody is perfect you seem like you enjoy picking at each prospect's flaws so that you can say I told you so if they bust later...
  18. Ok this at least makes me feel a bit better about signing him since the cap hits are pretty flat, unlike his last contract, and I expect the total cap number to keep increasing. Maybe not as much as it has been going up these past few years, but it will go up some and make those numbers more manageable. With that said, you guys are all talking about how we had to pay him this because Bradford got 18 million and Cousins got 19 million. The difference is those guys got 2 years and 1 year deals! Sure they overpaid for them and I would much rather have Flacco than either of them, but if they totally stink this year those teams can cut them and move on for 2017 no problem! If Flacco comes back as a different player, we are stuck with him til 2020. Coming off a major injury I am surprised there is not more hesitation to us being married to Flacco til at least 2020 without seeing how he bounced back from the ACL surgery. I understand he isn't a running QB so it makes it less of a big deal, but he still has to regain confidence in the knee to be able to perform in the pocket and be mentally ok to take a hit and know the knee will be fine. As much as it might not sound like it, I am a Flacco fan and will be excited to watch him and the team this year and hope he helps us rebound in a big way and get back to the playoffs. I am rooting for him and hope he comes back with a vengeance, I guess I am just worried about if he doesn't. I love Flacco enough to be totally good with this contract if he didn't get hurt. It is all about the recovery from the injury and the unknowns about not seeing him play before giving him this deal. Don't neg me too hard haha
  19. Why? The Pats got Brady to do that. What are the cap hits each year we now have Joe under contract? I would be less opposed to this deal after seeing how Joe comes back from tearing his ACL. He has a ton to prove coming back from injury with the highest contract in the league despite not playing well and the Ravens not winning 2 out of the past 3 seasons.
  20. But we paid him more than Rodgers? He hasn't performed that well 2 of the past 3 years. I don't understand how we didn't negotiate this better and guilt him into taking less money. Shoot we have the 6th pick in the draft, we could have threatened to draft a QB or leaked news that he wanted to be the top paid QB to get him to take less like the Giants did with Eli! Make no mistake, I want Flacco and I get the going price had to be above what the Eagles paid Bradford because Joe is obviously in another league than Flacco, but at the same time I think we could have gotten him a bit cheaper than this
  21. So none of you guys think it is a huge risk giving this much more cash to a guy coming off an ACL tear? No hate on Joe and I know he isn't a running QB, but part of me wanted to see him play out this year under the current contract just to make sure the knee is right and he has all his confidence back before making another long term commitment
  22. VH3 no question. I think his combine performance shows he has a lot to offer and showcased that. I think he understandably got in his own head the back half of this year trying not to get injured and mess up his draft stock and made mistakes and played poorly because of it. After seeing what happened to Jaylon Smith, I don't blame him at all for this and think he is going to be the ball hawking corner we lacked last year. We take him and he gets no less than 4 picks this year for us and at least one pick 6. With that said, the players I want in order are Ramsey, Buckner, Bosa, VH3. Ramsey is out of this world talented
  23. Dude he won the super bowl as their GM and quite frankly managed the cap far better than we have in recent years since they seem to have way more guys on their squad who they payed mega deals for and we only have a few and are somehow still up against the cap just like them. I wouldn't take him over Ozzie at all, but you can't hate on Elway because I wish Oz would have mortgaged our future if it would have gotten us another Lombardi Trophy last year
  24. 4.7 forty is all the elaboration needed. The kid is slow. He will get roasted in our division by AJ Green and AB for big plays. I wouldn't touch Thompson til day 3, let someone else make the mistake of drafting him #bustcity
  25. Darian Thompson has bust written all over him. Why do we want to take a safety who can't run the 40 faster than 4.7? He is garbage, if we take a safety it should be Karl Joseph
