  1. I didn't say anything about banning people. I said the NFL should have a well publicized list of approved products -- to include brand name and product lines. They should also have a list of products known to have banned substances in them. That would make things easier for players -- and one of the axioms of life is the easier you can make something for people, the more likely it is for that thing to happen. Given the NFL's rather inconsistent and arbitrary history on doling out punishments, I think it's in the best interest of the players to have such lists available.
  2. It must be convenient and comforting to go through life knowing that anybody who doesn't believe what you believe is just in the dark and knows nothing. Probably not much fun to be around though. At least not for people who disagree with you.
  3. I have doubt. If there was such a list, I'm sure we'd have known about its existence by now. It seems just like something the NFL would do, to leave it all up to the players and just be ready to bust them when they get caught with something in their system. This issue has come up too many times. There should be a list of approved supplements and OTC meds (a well publicized list) as well as a list of banned products.
  4. I didn't mean to be patronizing, I'd say the same thing to fans of any team on any week. Re: principles of fair play -- I hate bad or one-sided officiating. I'd rather earn a victory than be handed one. But nobody has ever apologized to us for beating us when we had players injured. We have been there enough times that I really empathize with your situation, and I hope you can get through the rest of the season without losing anyone else.
  5. I'm relaxed. I don't think I said anything untoward, and I wasn't being disrespectful. Honestly, I'd be surprised if someone came to the Seahawks board and said they hope for anything different for their team. I don't go to other team's boards and talk smack, for exactly the reason you said -- we are guests. Besides, I'm not a good smack-talker.
  6. Hi guys! I hope we beat the crap out of you this weekend. It's nothing personal, I hope we beat the crap out of everyone every week. Here's to a hard fought, hopefully injury free game. Also, here's to hoping the officials don't embarrass themselves (what a horrible year this has been for that!) For what this is worth, we hate the Squeelers as much as you do. I cheer for you guys every time you play them. I cheered for you in your last Super Bowl as well. (Belated congrats!) Basically, I like to see you do well any time you're not playing us.
