ECAN does great work getting the word out; so few people really know about esophageal cancer until it cuts short the life of someone they know. As my husband and I have been telling everyone since his diagnosis - if you have persistent heartburn - GET TESTED! An endoscopy is a fairly easy procedure that just may save your life.
